Pretty great! Beers are all absolutely true to style, which is fantastic for an American brewery focusing on European beers. Interior could have been more cozy, but this place still deserves 5 stars.

Mediocre brewery in the middle of a bunch of great breweries. I find the beers all very bland. Nothing spicy, hoppy or unusual about their beers to set themselves apart from the other breweries in the imediate area. Cerebral, Alpine dog and especially Lost highway brewery all have outstanding beers and provide great competition. Deep draft needs to come up with some over the top beers to win the locals over.

This is turning out to be a really great neighborhood brewery. For me, the location is great and a lot of people from Uptown and Whitier and Cap Hill can walk here. The people are always so nice. The beer is pretty good and I am looking forward to their continued improvement(the beers I get today there are already better than a few months ago). It would be great to continue to support this friendly neighborhood spot.

Need to explore more of the beers, but of the ones I’ve had they are fine beers. The Belgian strong ale was very flavorful and the Irish stout was delicious. This is close to where I live, seems as though in Denver breweries open right next to you!

They have a new brewer here who makes a mean IPA Citra. I’m not usually an IPA fan, but this one is smooth. There is a lovely gas fireplace inside, a gas fire pit outside, and they have recently added a piano.

I came here on a weeknight to get drinks with a friend. To our pleasant surprise they had a pretty awesome cover band playing! Top it off with some good beers and a nice fireplace. I will have to come back soon! I started off with the Czech Pilsner. It was good but not the best Czech pils I have had. After that I went for the Porter. that was really tasty and enjoyable. I also tried my friend’s apple ale — that was surprisingly good. I assumed it would be a way too sweet cider but it was more like a cross between a cider and a beer(sour/belgian style). Very impressive! For a new brewery they are off to a nice start and have a great spot in an area with not much brewery options. Looking forward to coming back!

The beer was warm and all tasted the same, like water. The bar was very modern and streamlined which didn’t fit their sea theme. Wouldn’t recommend.

Stumbled onto this place today with a playful curiosity. Rob, presumably the owner, greeted us as we walked in with a grand smile and helpful attitude. He offered us concise advice on what beers to try. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the great beers here.

Note: I wrote this review a while ago and saved it on my computer, as I had tried to add the business on Unilocal but for some reason it wouldn’t let me. Glad MaryLaura A was able to! Came here for the first time in mid-September and was definitely impressed. Not only by the beers, but also by the friendliness of the owners. I happened to drive down 17th in early September and noticed this new brewery. Tried to look it up online and found pretty limited information on it. Turns out, they had a soft opening in mid-July and were expecting to have their official Grand Opening sometime this Fall(maybe it’s happened by now?) It’s truly a family run operation — mom and daughter were working the night I stopped in. Dad and son were working it the night my bf’s brother stopped by the first time. There were 7 beers on tap and 3 in the works. I sampled the English Bitter and the East Coast Pale Ale. Ended up getting a 16oz pour of the Pale Ale, but both were pretty tasty. My bf and his brother each got Pilsners. It was still quite warm out, after all! There was no rushing us, even though it was the end of the night and we were the last customers on this particular Tuesday(the first Tuesday they were open, I might add). Though, on the plus side, this allowed us to strike up a great conversation with Anna(daughter) regarding the various beers, their recent expansion of opening hours, and their plans for the future. She let us sample the not-yet-carbonated Apple Ale that was slated to be out in the upcoming weeks. After further conversation, she then poured us samples of the Dry Irish Stout on nitro. And finally, after even more conversation, I got pretty darn excited about the soon to be released Porter. I loved the sourcing of local ingredients and it was clear that they are trying to be conscientious neighbors and supporters of their native Colorado community. Well, 3 out of 4 are natives; dad’s from Philly, and a nautical theme can be detected throughout. A subtle ode to the east coast, something this Jersey girl can definitely appreciate. Slowly but surely Deep Draft is getting on its feet. I look forward to visiting this business in the future and seeing it’s growth.

With so many breweries in town, you’ve got to deliver on quality beer or have something that sets you apart from the rest. Unfortunately, Deep Draft was across the board tenuous in beer quality, ambiance, and service. Pretty corny interior. I get the underwater theme, but it looked rather cheap and sterile. My fiancé opined how it reminded her of a sleazy nightclub with the lighting. I on the other hand saw it to be more of a sterile medical lab. Aesthetics aside, the service was pretty dismal. The two girls pouring beers were partaking in pints behind the bar(to the point of being tipsy if not high) but when asked for descriptions and suggestions on the beer, they were unable to do so indicating«we’re new». They were nice enough to provide us some samples on request but unfortunately, the beer was rather tenuous in depth, tasted flat, and was redolent of cask beer, which I am not too fond of. Both my fiancé and I tried a few of the beers before settling on the east coast pale and the porter. We thought each beer tasted similar with no distinctive features and could easily be interchanged. My east coast pale was so lacking of hops, carbonation, and depth and the porter equally disappointing that we both failed to finish. To completely come full circle on our disappointment, each beer was $ 6 to which they then threw in tax on top of it. I’m no novice when it comes to breweries or bars, but generally don’t they incorporate tax into the price listed for the drinks? That is, if you list $ 5, that is inclusive of tax. I couldn’t tell you any other brewery that throws in tax after the fact. And what’s up with $ 6/beer if you’re then going to tack on tax on top of it. If you’re in the hood, I’d strongly urge you to Bike Café or Alpine Dog over Deep Draft, where you can get a quality beer for cheaper and in a better atmosphere.
