Jody Johnson is the worst bar owner/​manager in the history of restaurants. Evidently, he has ran this seedy bar into the ground, has taken the money and ran, just like he did out at the seedy bar, Sedalia Grill, before he was foreclosed on. He treats his clients and employees like he feels he is a tough guy, with threats, and bullying. He will very soon find that Karma is a bitch… It makes me and many others smile to see him fail again, so quickly. I hope to never see this punk again, personally…

The Owner use to own Sedalia Grill. The place is run like it’s supposed to be run. Really great food that is made fresh with good smoked barbecue. Live music on Sundays. Very nice people make you feel welcomed. I will definitely be going back.

Met a pal for a beer, Kitty is most welcoming. Takes time to chat even though she’s busy stocking the bar. Nice place. I didn’t eat, but menu looks great. They smoke their own BBQ on the weekends. (maybe more?)

This place has been two creepy bars (that I refused to visit) in the two years I’ve lived in this neighborhood. I visited Cecil’s last weekend on a whim for a beer, stayed for delicious food, and I’m back again this weekend! The green chili is fantastic, and the service is friendly and fast. I love my new neighborhood hangout!
