Excellent tuna sandwich which is very reasonably priced — really one of the best tuna salad sandwiches I’ve ever had. Also a fan of the philly cheesesteak sandwich, but it is pricey. The Thai chicken salad is really good as well. Cannot recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich, but everything else that I have had is fresh and delicious.

I came here based on the current ratings on Unilocal.I ordered a chicken Philly cheesesteak. I was surprised at how dead the place is at lunch given its good Unilocal rating. I was the only one in the reastaurant. When my sandwich was delivered it was beef. I told the manager I thought I ordered chicken. He said that I didn’t. Maybe my bad but it would have been nice if he had offered to get me a chicken sandwich. I got the impression from Unilocal that this restaurant had been open for a while but I did not get that impression from inside. I don’t know why but it just seemed like this was its first week in operation. Maybe because it was so dead. The sandwich was good but I felt like it was overpriced. It would’ve been nice if it came with a side of chips or something considering the price tag. Also, it would have been nice to have a soda fountain instead of only being able to buy sodas in bottles. No free refills on sodas. The restaurant was OK and I’m glad I tried it but I probably won’t go back.

A great spot for lunch. There were five of us. We all ordered a version of the Philly or tuna. Good size sandwiched. Very filling Delicious! Quick! Yummy cookies! The owner is super nice and friendly! Great service!

Amazing small sandwich shop owned by a very friendly family. The Philly cheesesteak and tuna sandwiches and wraps are delicious and the prices are affordable. Easy walk to UNT campus.

Great philly cheesesteak sandwiches. One of the best in town, certainly the best on the square. PA native says they are pretty authentic. Also good: tuna salad sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich.

I tired it for lunch and although the ingredients looked great, my wrap fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I was still keen on eating it with a fork when my husband said his Philly was awful. We asked for a refund (after two bites) and the owner argued with us before giving it to us. I love eating at new places, and giving small business my business, but this place is a fail.

This place is fantastic! The owner was EXTREMELY nice, the food was beyond incredible, and I have dreams of the smoothies…

Came in for lunch on the square and had a really pleasant experience. Space is very clean and light, felt comfortable. (I hate it when a place feels dingy — total turn off). Plenty of seating and multiple table types so anyone is comfortable. Staff was friendly and recommended the cheesesteaks. We had one beef one chicken and they were both delicious! I was unsure about Swiss cheese on my Philly but after tasting it I’m sold! Great creamy addition. Will definitely be making this a regular spot.

Had a pineapple mango smoothie. Tastes like something you could get at McDonald’s. Was not impressed.

If you’re not down with Boardwalk Café in downtown Denton, I’m not down with you. This place is tasteful, clean, pleasant, and comfortable. I’m not from around here, but Juan (Joo-​ahn) welcomed me with a warmth greater than a hot Texas evening. I asked for a suggestion on what to order and Juan rapid fired a handful of items from the Wraps menu and I ordered the final suggestion: Honey Mustard Chicken Wrap. We instantly connected. Juan told me a little about himself and his culinary background. He used to cook in Bermuda! Anyways, Juan excused himself to prepare my food while I retreated to the restroom.
The facilities were cozy and extremely clean. A+ Also, shouts out to that crazy wavy mirror above the sink.
My wrap was ready by the time I came back from the restroom and Juan and I continued to talk about love life and his children. I really enjoyed hearing about Juan’s culture, and felt honored for him to share. The chicken was cooked well, not dry at all. The honey mustard was an ideal balance of tangy and sweet. From the refreshing crunch of lettuce to the small squishy texture of the dried cranberries, everything in that wrap was heaven. I’ll definitely return to Boardwalk Café next time I’m in Denton.

The owner was nice, the atmosphere was good. The food was. Ok. It wasn’t bad, but there are better sandwiches around the square.

The wraps are huge and delicious! Service is fantastic, outdoor dining if you like, close to the square, another great option for downtown Denton

The honey mustard wrap was pretty tasty and the atmosphere was cool. Maybe I’m just being picky, but I really didn’t like that the salad was served on a cheap paper plate. It got all soggy and made a mess. Overall a good experience though.

I love this place, I use to visit this place weekly when he was in the mall. They take the time to make the food and it always taste great. The menu has a nice sandwich and wrap collection and offers salads and fruit instead of fries. Will always come back here.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after going to the DC Market. It took a little longer than expected to get our food but it was good. Had the honey mustard chicken sandwich and Ceasar salad.
It’s decorated a little sparse and mis-​matched but was clean and staff was friendly. Will go back and support our local businesses.

This is a great spot to get lunch here in Denton. Really good for a lunch break from work or just to stop in for a sandwich with friends. Could possibly be a good place to get work done with the benches and long tables they have too.
The owner is really nice and always brings the food out fast. The menu is very simple — sandwiches, wraps, salads, coffee, tea and sodas, etc. so deciding what to get isn’t hard. The portions are big here too so you feel like you actually get your money’s worth. It’s nice to have a place where you can choose to eat healthy as well. It’s really simple and the portions are big enough to actually feel full after too!
Give this place a try if you haven’t already!

Had the honey BBQ chicken with a strawberry peach and both were amazing! Will be returning!

This place is awesome! You will never leave feeling hungry, yet the food tastes excellent and best of all it is healthy. There is a good variety of food from creative salads and wraps to sandwiches and smoothies. They even had a cheeseburger, although I didn’t see it posted on the menu.
I highly recommend!

A nice quick lunch place to eat at while on the square. Lots of different options and healthy choices. Would highly recommend it!
