YUM! This place is fun and even with a long wait the food was fantastic! I got a tofu ninja bowl and licked my plate clean! Wonderfully textured tofu with teriyaki sauce and super fresh vegetables can’t disappoint !

Great healthy fresh food! We are foodies so we checked out the healthy best juice which was smooth with just a hint of the celery. The Heriloom gluten free pizza made with lentil and rice was perfection! The vari-​day yogi bowl with chicken was super fresh and full of flavor. Too many great options for everyone!

Great quality and flavor.
Mostly vegan which is not for me. I had the grilled chicken teriyaki which was fabulous. Great quality tender juicy chicken, fresh broccoli and carrots and great sauce in just the right amount — not drowning in sause to cover up cheap food. I will be back many times.

Everything about this place is fantastic.
Fresh, made from scratch food that tastes delicious. They have perfectly matched many different dishes with a variety of flavors.
I really enjoy the falafel burger with sweet potato fries and a side of vegan mayo. Their curry soup is also great. I usually eat with a special treat of one of their made from scratch ice creams or nut-​milk drinks. All of their bowls are great too– I always have a hard time picking what I want to eat!
Service is always friendly and helpful. Décor is fun and different. Each table has different, adorable salt and pepper shakers, it’s fun to look at them all. It’s quiet inside, and a great place to meet up with a friend to chat and feast.

This place is amazing. Great service, great atmosphere that is very eclectic and fun. Great variety in the menu and the staff is very knowledgeable and like to have fun. You are given your check, not in the traditional manner, by inserting your bill into a book as a bookmark! From the décor, vibe, and staff to the food, very unique is the best way to describe this restaurant. And I mean that is best possible way. LOVE THIS PLACE… you can’t help but leave in a good mood!

This is the best Asian fusion in Denton! They do dine in or take out. They are considered mainly vegan but they do offer protein options such as chicken and steak. They also have delicious shakes and smoothies. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting good food in Denton, Texas.

Love this place! The food is amazing, the waitresses are spot on and bring out anything you need right when asked, and the timing is amazing. Everyone is at a very high vibration, positive moods, and the cooks put great energy in the food that you can almost taste. The music is ambient and sets a beautiful tone for the essence of the place. I love the unique look and feel of this restaurant. Beautifully done, i will be back

Love it love it! Yes it will cost you more than McDonalds for dinner, but your hospital bill will be far less!

Cha Ching!!! This place is MONEY! From the happy hippie waitress to the health drink counter to the outrageous vegan menu this place is great. Even the funky seating is appropriate. Eat here eat here eat here!
You can add a protein to any vegan dish and the chefs will make it and you will freak out at the amazingly fresh and satisfying dish they present to you.
This could be in my opinion the top restaurant in Denton!

Fantastic vegan fare! I had the Omm Bowl and added tofu. It was delish! I ate every spec of it and started planning my next trip through Dentin for more. I also had the energizer juice. It too made my heart sing. Well done, Bowellry!

Excellent fresh, yummy food — many vegetarian options, great atmosphere. A must come back!

I’ve dined in twice and gotten takeout from here maybe four times and I love these guys. The food is fresh and the staff are lovely, and I love that they are so friendly to vegan, gf, etc. people. The portions are filling and their ice cream amazing and dairy free! So happy to find this place and I’ll continue coming back as long as the food and service is good!

I went to the Bowllery for the first time last nights this resident encompasses everything that l love. It’s rare that I can’t choose something off the menu to eat because I wanted every single thing on it! I got the Vair-​Day (a yogi bowl) on brown rice and it was sublime! Big filling portion filled with delicious veggies! You have the choice of protein (vegetarian and omnivore) but I opted for just veggies. My boyfriend got the chicken teriyaki bowl and it was the perfect portion for him.
They also have a huge selection of delicious, healthy smoothies that I need to try! I need to eat through the menu.
The décor is eclectic but not overwhelming. It’s all fit in to a cozy little, dimly lit space close to UNT campus. Great for a date or small meeting.
I will definitely be frequenting this Denton place!

Popped in for a healthy snack. Lots of vegetarian, vegan, healthy options to chose from. They offer yogi bowls which «combine the health benefits of raw food with cooked vegetables.» You can choose soba noodles or rice… choose from teriyaki chicken to tempeh bacon, and a plethora of veggies. In addition, they serve salads, burgers, pizzas, and dessert. They even cater to raw food dieters with options like Raw Pad Thai. Not in the mood for chewing… no problem: you can opt for a smoothie or juice instead. I decided to go the juice route and tried their Re-​Engergize (12 oz at $ 6) which is made of broccoli, carrot, apple, parsley, lemon. I’ve also tried their Zest For Life (orange, carrot, apple, celery, ginger). Of the two, the Zest For Life was the favorite. Give them a whirl.

Okay, not bad. I’ve lived right across from The Bowllery for over two years and the whole time ive been pretty skeptical about this place. Having eaten beforehand, I thought id check out the black sesame ice cream they have listed on their website’s menu for dessert. I was really excited because man, you cannot get black sesame ice cream in Denton ANYWHERE.
…I was really bummed they didnt offer it anymore. They’ve switched it with their homemade ginger ice cream, which was what I ended up ordering. It was actually really good! I was glad that it had some burn to it, though I kind of wish there was a tad bit MORE. Note: the base flavor is actually coconut, so it’s really a «coconut and ginger ice cream». Anyways, it was just the right amount sweet, so that was nice (I was expecting it to be overly so).
Im glad I live so close to this place. I’ll come back sometime!

I LOVE this place!!! I’ve been wanting to try it forever as I grew up vegetarian and just don’t love meat. The Bowllery was everything I hoped for and more! I had no idea they had green smoothies and fresh juices and so many other awesome goodies. I had a hard time deciding, but I went with the Gobi bowl and added grilled tofu. The curry flavor was incredible, but not overpowering. I added some of heir freshly made sriracha sauce and it was perfect! I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! Everything was flavorful, but light and healthy. You just feel incredible after eating here!

This place put such a good taste in my mouth I’ve thought of driving back an hour just to eat here. We live in Sherman and have to charge our car in Denton and I keep thinking of charging just so I can have a few more things on their menu. I had the portobello mushroom burger with vegan mayonnaise. It was amazing! It was juicy and full of flavor. My husband had a bowl and wanted to come back. It looked like a rainbow of veggies in his bowl. This place was full of flavor and uniqueness. I had a veggie smoothie and it was the best one I’ve ever had. It tasted like cucumber, very refreshing. I love the furniture and our waitress was great. She wasn’t overly attentive nor neglectful, she had a nice balance. She took a little longer to bring us our check but I didn’t mind. I enjoyed the atmosphere and I appreciate not being rushed. Thinking of going back tonight.

High quality food and definite niche food destination. Super healthy and hard to eat there without getting a smoothie too. I will say highly recommend adding some protein to meal to make sure you’re full.
I will say the décor throws me off a bit. Not sure what the theme or direction is, but the food is the star here anyway.

Sadly, this eatery did not live up to the hype. Yes, the service was excellent, yes, the décor was cool, and yes, the options were healthy. But, what really matters at any restaurant– the taste of the food, was not that great. I ordered a ‘Rise and Shine’ smoothie and a chicken teriyaki ‘ninja bowl’. The smoothie was good, but small and could have easily been made at home. The teriyaki bowl was a small portion of somewhat bland chicken, carrots, broccoli, and rice for about $ 7. I would have been better off going to Chipotle and ordering a burrito bowl. It would have been more flavorful food and would have cost less.
I would come here again for a smoothie, but that’s about it.

If you don’t like fresh, unapologetically wholesome and flavorful food… this isn’t the place for you. I got the tempeh burger, served topped with sliced zucchini, bean sprouts and a flavorful peanut sauce. I only wish there was more of it to shamelessly stuff in my face between gulps of my fresh citrus smoothie. The Bowllery is filling a long ignored demand in Denton for restaurants that don’t just offer vegetarian alternative items, but cater specifically to the vegetarian/​vegan/​gluten free market.
The one drawback is that it is a bit pricey for the portions. But if that is truly what it costs to serve food of that quality, then I’m happy to pay it. I just won’t be able to visit as often as I’d like. This place is a great treat whether you’re a health minded omnivore, vegetarian or vegan. Mind you, MOST of the menu is vegetarian/​vegan friendly. Delicious!

Me encantó el «raw pad Thai» una ensalada con betabeles, zanahorias, pepinos, y jicama entre otras verduras. El sabor de esta ensalada vegana es lo mejor que he probado en Denton. Esta un poco cara, pero vale la pena, por algo saludable. La galería de arte y La música que ponen en este lugar, me hizo sentir como una «ricachona» OMG this place is freaking awesome! El baño se miraba limpio pero el edificio esta un poco acabado. El servicio al cliente fue de buena calidad. My kiddo tried the «teriyaki tofu» and he pretty much ate the whole thing. En lo que cabe fue una gran experiencia, can’t wait to take my sisters there!
