Description

Specialties

Family owned restaurant celebrating 20 years of service on the historic Denton downtown square. The Chestnut Tree was named after my mother, Betty Chestnut. We started the business in 1994 as a mother and daughter team. Serving fresh breakfast and lunch daily, Monday through Saturday 9 to 3. Specializing in farm to table specials, Texas made products and loose leaf tea. Fresh made pies and dessert are available in bakery.

History

Established in 1994.

The Chestnut Tree was established in 1994 by Betty Seeders and her daughter Valeree Clegg. The restaurant started as a small tea house and has evolved into a full service restaurant.
