I knew I needed to repair or replace my bow window as the window was sagging and the cold air was coming through during the winter. I reached out to Tri-​State at the time, but I was not ready to commit to a replacement window until repair was officially ruled out. As I was trying to figure out what direction I was headed, repair or replace, Renewal by Andersen was canvassing the neighborhood and I asked them for an estimate. They gave me such an outrageous cost over $ 15,000 (this was more than 5x the cost of Tri-​State). I then remembered my conversation with Andreas of Tri-​State and reached out to him via email. I received a call back from him immediately during their business hours (keep in mind, I sent my email late the prior evening around 10pm). Andreas invited me to their showroom and he explained to me their process, showed me their windows, and gave me a complete tour of their factory where all the windows are made. I was very impressed with the quality of their products and how they do all the work; there is no middle man. I was also extremely impressed with the U-​factor of their windows. Tri-​State, by far, has the lowest U-​factor than any other company that I had seen. As described on the energy-​star sites, the lower the U-​factor, the more efficient the glass. After having to stuff the gap of my windows with newspaper and foam for the winter, this is a huge factor. Andreas and I sat down to discuss numbers and the price was very reasonable, so I signed a contract. Now, could I have found the windows cheaper? Maybe, but I do not think so if all things are weighed equal. Also, how much cheaper would it have been? Based on all the estimates, not a significant amount, and I felt Tri-State’s product was superior, so definitely worth it. I also feel that when you are doing business with a company, it is important that it feels right. That was the feeling that I got when dealing with Tri-​State; they responded to all my inquiries immediately and I did not feel that I would get lost in their system.
After all the measurements were taken, and my windows were custom built right at their factory, it was time for installation. The install crew showed up in the time frame that was given to me. They proceeded to remove the old window and install my new bay window. The crew was very respectful of my home and were extremely tidy. They made this entire process seem extremely easy. They were meticulous in their installation, making sure every detail was perfect. When the window was fully installed, the crew then started working on the roof. I was very confuses as to what they were doing since the window was installed and I did not understand the relevance. When they were done, they explained that there seemed to be some water damage on the old wood they removed. They wanted to make sure that there were no leaks that could impact the new window, so they reinforced the area around the window, gutters, and roof.
When my family, friends, and co-​workers saw the before and after photos, they could not get over the difference. The new window looks extremely elegant and adds such much character to my home. I could not be happier with the work that they did and Tri-​State will be the first call I make when I need to replace more windows in the house.

My wife and I saw Renewal by Andersen at the Home Show in Commack. We signed up for an estimate. The salesman came to our home and showed us his traveling window show and was very informative. Very nice guy. Yeah, Fibrex (vinyl mixed with sawdust).
You must understand, this is NOT Andersen windows, which is a fine product.
Fortunately, I had read reviews on Unilocal before he showed up. My wife had not.
He gave us a price and then told us we had a quick offer discount but it was only available RIGHT NOW!
Four double hung replacement windows — -after discount — - $ 13,000!
My wife just about passed out.
Needless to say, we said thanks, but – no thanks.
A friend of ours gave us a word of mouth recommendation, so we took a drive to TriState windows in Deer Park.
Result – 4 TRIPLE GLAZED – replacement widows and a new window (not a replacement) expertly installed for less than $ 4,000. TRISTATE IS THE WAY TO GO!

They installed a 9′ window in my house. A very nice professional install. They were somewhat expensive but still cheaper than ‘Renewal by Andersen’ and a very good quality window, without the extremely high pressure sales of renewal by Andersen. I would absolutely use them again

Had my whole house done in December 2015. These windows are a work of art! They have easy to use locking systems and both windows can open and close with the touch of the hand. I am so pleased with them. Their installers were professional and cleaned up after. I researched and had estimates from at least 5 different companies. When I looked up the window companies on the Better Business Bureau and review sites Tri-​State was number one. A bonus: the price was much less than anyone else! I would highly recommend them.

Just had 3 57″ x 57″ sliders installed in my condo. The quality of the window is outstanding. Equally important, the installers were amazing. They took pride in their workmanship. They were neat and thorough. I can not say enough about my positive experience. Mario and Rob were terrific. Would highly recommend Tri State Window to anyone.

We chose to replace all of our windows 5 years ago with tri-​state windows because we liked the sales person, the locks on the windows were nice, they had good reviews and the guarantee. The installers were professional and cleaned up after. We just had a problem with one of the windows, all others are great, and I called, not knowing what to expect. The person I spoke to was nice, professional, and immediately scheduled an appointment for a Saturday. They came on time, repaired the window in a few minutes and left. I was impressed with the customer service

Working with Andreas and the tri state window people was a pleasure. We had six windows installed, two were a resize– custom installation. The windows are high quality and all the work was good. The installers were reliable, professional and cleaned up well afterwards. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

We had all our new windows, siding and roof installed by Tri-​State Window Factory in 2010.
After 5 estimates which included Tri-​State Window Factory in Deer Park, NY, we felt very confident of their products and ability to guarantee them should any service be needed as all of their windows are manufactured in house.
It has been 3 years and 2 Hurricanes (Irene and Sandy) and a very cold harsh 2013 – 2014 Long Island winter and all of our windows, siding and roof show no signs of wear. Also, our energy savings have been significant. This is truly a testament to the their superior products and expert installation.
Tri-​State Window Factory is family owned and operated. Andreas Kypreos and his father John and brother-​in-​law Andrew, all made us feel at home and very comfortable. We never felt the pressure of a hard sell. Christopher M. who was the foreman on the siding install was always there to overlook the installation and answer questions or issues that arouse. He is quite the craftsman!
Furthermore, several homes in and out our neighborhood had work performed by Tri-​State Window Factory as of a result of the stupendous job performed on our house.

We purchased an older home in Nassau County and have been renovating it including the windows. I researched close to 15 window companies on Long Island and received estimates from 8 of them inncluding Tri-​State. Their sales person was very courteous and took the time to fully understand our needs and explain the differences in window technology. After evaluating all of the products on the market we selected Tri-​State and couldn’t have made a better decision. Their price was fair and like that saying goes you get what you pay for. They by far, have the best windows on the market in my opinion after comparing the varous products available. We got the triple pane windows which are incredibly efficient and haven’t had any issues. In fact we’re in the process of odering doors from them as well. Based on our experience I would question where the negative reviews are stemming from on here. You won’t be disappointed with Tri-​State. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

I recently purchased 10 sliding windows from Tri State Window Factory. The salesman was very informative and courteous. They have 5 different levels of windows. We purchased the model 5400 series which has a .16 U Factor .The window is fully reinforced with rust proof aluminum and foam filled. This window has the best energy efficiency rating out there. I would highly recommend Tri State to any one in the market for windows. They did a phenomenal installation. I am so happy we chose such a great company.

We hired Tri-​State to install new windows for us in our new home in Jersey. The rep that did our estimate was very nice, informative and responsive. He came with samples and had a lot of good info for us. They had good prices to redo an entire house, including installing a new bay window. The quality of the work was very good, though we did notice some extra debris like siding and nails in the yard and roof after the installation. We needed some touch ups after the install and they came back the next day which happened to be a Sunday. Awesome.
The windows are great and have made a huge impact on our home both inside and out. I would totally use these guys again and highly recommend their services.

I had horribly drafty, cheap windows in my condo that would not lock and would literally blow in during heavy winds. I did a LOT of research and had 2 estimates before contacting Tri-​State. The difference between Tri-​State, Home Depot and Unified is astounding. First, the salesman showed me samples of window corners and immediately, you see the dramatic difference in the products. The Tri-​State windows are incredibly superior in structure. The salesman also explained the warranty — it is a lifetime warranty that even extends to the new owners of your home when you sell. The energy rating is significantly higher than all the competitors. And the price difference for 4 large windows was only a couple hundred dollars, which I made up for with an Angie’s List coupon. I had them installed today and am literally overwhelmed. Not only do I immediately feel the difference in warmth, I don’t hear any outside noise. I live in Brooklyn with a bus stop outside my windows, which face a busy street and before, my condo apt. was really noisy but now it is so nice and quiet. I just increased the value of my home, and get a nice tax write off with the home improvement and the energy savings. Again, I did a TON of research and there is no comparison — Tri-​State offers a product and warranty that is 100% better than anyone else in the area and for just maybe 5% more money, and well worth the small price difference. I could not be happier with the sales service, and the installation was quick and painless, and they did a great job of cleaning up after. A VERY satisfied customer!
