Got some water damage on my IPhone and lost the ringtone. Took over to AT & T and they wanted like $ 500 for new phone. Dropped off phone with Frank and he had it fixed in no time… and I think it worked better than before. And yes I tried the rice trick but ain’t no one got time for that. Only place I’ll go in the future for repairs. Very fair guys!

Frank is a magician! I dropped my Apple iphone 5S in water and drowned it. Frank brought it back to life. The service and price at University Wireless far exceeded my experience with ANY business. If you need help with electronics, this is the place to go. They are friendly, competent and so helpful. I am delighted to recommend them.

I shattered my iPhone screen and came here to have it replaced. And so did my Mom. Great service. Fixed it in 25 minutes. Nice guy! A little hard to find because it is shared with a bike shop but I was very pleased. He also cleaned my phone.

I had recently cracked my iPhone 5s screen (being as clumsy as I am), and thank goodness they were able to help me. The service was nice and the repair took about half an hour at most. Plus, cheapest price in town!

FRANK IS AMAZING! I have been in twice in the last week with my iPhone 5s (shattered screen and battery replacement) and he has been such a pleasure to work with! The rates here are really good, and I’m not overpaying for any services at all– and I feel like I should be paying even more for the quality of work I am receiving. They have parts for all kinds of phones, cases, screen protectors, and everything else you could want. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and plan on coming back in the future with any phone problems!

I recently shattered my iPhone 5c screen and so I called several places to price shop and see where I could get the best deal. So I called some other place and they said they could fix my screen for $ 55 and then I kept price shopping to get the best deal. Then, I called this place and they promised they match that price. So a few weeks later I stop by after I saved up some money and they raised the price to $ 60 and so I was like I don’t have the money I’ll stop by Sunday and so I made an appointment. Then a day before the appointment I get a call from them and they say they can’t come in Sunday to fix my phone. So finally I stopped back in today and they raised the price to $ 65 because «the prices of the screens raised» and at that point I was at my wits end with them and I just walked out. They are not honest and I do not recommend going here.

When it comes to electronics, this is THE one stop shop! I highly recommend everyone to come here. As someone who can always screws up her phone, I wish this place was available to me back when I was a student.
Frank is always helpful, my mom actually recommended him since she is even more technologically impaired than I am. One morning, I was unable to turn on my phone after leaving the airport. I tried charging & power cycling but just couldn’t turn it on. Frank saved my phone and sold me a new battery at an amazing price!
My mom also comes here a lot of fix her screen. Such a sweet deal. Although Frank was the one who saved my phone, all the employees are very helpful as well ;)

After a few mishaps with fixing a cracked galaxy s4 screen, I received great customer service and got everything sorted out. They definitely try to give as much as they can to help all customers. Im really thankful for all the help I received from Frank. I recommend this small shop in Davis to anybody looking to get their phones repaired.

It’s one of those days…
Meeting friends on a morning outing in Napa, I drop my iPhone 6 on its edge, recently removed from it’s back case for a now ridiculous reason, shattering the glass screen.
After a reasonable amount of swearing, I head to the Geek Squad in Woodland, who inform me that they can’t help, but there’s ‘this guy’ in some tiny shop in Davis who is, in a word, amazing. And fair. And honest. I go home to start a Unilocal search and a few shops come up in Davis, but only one that is consistently rated high, with language like ‘sublime’ and ‘amazing service’ and ‘highly recommended.‘
I call at 6:30pm, thinking I’ll get a machine. I get Frank, the owner, the one and only ‘amazing, sublime, highly recommended’ Frank. There’s a baby in the background crying when I call (did I mention it’s Father’s Day?), and after asking me a few questions, Frank tells me he’ll meet me at the store. It’s really alright that it’s a Sunday night, he says. No, no… I’m not disturbing his dinner. Is 7:10pm alright?
I know the people at Vampire Penguin think I’m crazy, standing in front of a closed business, but here comes Frank, opening up his business, offering me a seat and methodically taking my iPhone apart and putting it back together perfectly. Perfectly. In about a ½ hr, my phone is back, with a discounted glass protector since it was purchased with a repair. By 8pm, I’m back at my house in Woodland, putting the back case on my repaired iPhone… on a Sunday… Father’s Day…
Frank is all of those things used to describe him, and he’s methodical and focused and careful and clearly very skilled. He’s a kind man, a generous fellow who says things like «we all have to help each other,» so I want to help Frank.
Don’t go anywhere else for anything to do with a smartphone or an iPad. Call Frank first. Drive over, get some of those crazy shaved ice things at Vampire Penguin next door and watch the Amazing, Sublime, Unbelievable Frank fix it for you for a great price in no time at all.

I was looking for some inexpensive place to replace my broken i5 screen. Apple was charging too much. I found this store and called to get a quote. It was more than reasonable. I dropped off the phone over lunch and had it back in two hours. Amazing!

This is my second time dropping my iphone and cracking my screen. I stopped by in between class to change my iphone 5s screen and it only took 20 minutes. The service was fantastic and way cheaper than other repair shops. Highly recommend University Wireless!

The owner was really nice and accommodating. I had my iPhone 5s repaired for a broke screen in less than 30 minutes without an appointment for less than half what the Apple Store wanted. It was the lowest price in Davis and you get 5% off for a Unilocal checkin. Also, they repaired my camera which was full of dust for $ 5 when Apple wouldn’t even touch it as it was out of warranty.

Forget other cell phone stores, I am coming to University Wireless for my cell phone purchases from now on. Great prices, service and quality — definitely recommended to anyone in need of a new phone or repair. I bought an iPhone 4s at a very reasonable price for my mother and she hasn’t had any problems. live in San Francisco, and I drove all the way to Davis to get my iPhone 5S fixed with these guys. No joke. Why? Because they only charge $ 90 as opposed to $ 160 from the other iPhone repair shops all throughout the city.
These guys fixed the cracked screen on my iPhone 5S in less than 30 minutes. They did a perfect job and they gave me a discount on accessories as a result of paying for the repair.
The reason why like these guys so much is not only because they were very courteous and professional, but because they intentionally keep their prices lower than the rest.
If you need to get your phone repaired, just come here. Don’t ask questions, don’t shop around. Just show up, these guys are awesome and will take care of you for the best price around.

Awesome experience! I went in with a broken lock button after going to both iFix Electronics and RC Phone repair. RC was closed for the weekend and iFix told me «the guy who does this won’t be in until Monday.» The representative inside the store quoted me at a lower price that both stores and got it done within about 40 minutes. Definitely coming back here.
