I’ve been going to these guys my whole life, and I haven’t been disappointed by them once. Crazy friendly guys, they’re a riot too when they get going, and they know what they’re doing with the scissors. There’s always something on the TV for you introverts, and banners to look at on the ceiling. Also, they don’t do shaves, but it doesn’t bother me none because I figure a body could just do it at home. Fantastic place, I can’t imagine switching barbers.

Been going to Roger for over 20 years. Guess it’s HIGH time to write a Unilocal review and say that he’s been a great resource here in town. These guys are no-nonsense barbers who are there when you need them. Get in early(so you can go in before work), and come in on Saturdays ’till 2pm, so I can get things taken care of before going out for the weekend, if I forgot to get in earlier. What I love the best is that I jus sit down, and Roger knows what to do. We talk about everything other than the haircut, and somehow, it always comes out EXACTLY like I want it — — - consistency is a wonderful thing! Best story is that my girlfriend and I were headed out of town, and I asked if she’d mind stopping in with me to get a «quick haircut». Her jaw just dropped, thinking I was talking about a 30−45min delay. She was laughing pretty hard when we were walking out about 10 mins later. .. the deed done and a $ 20 bill handed over for the fee and a good tip(which these guys deserve). Don’t change!

This Barber Shop is a dying breed and I for one will cut my own hair when men are subjected to stylists. If you spent time in the military or accompanied your father to haircuts you will feel right at home here. If your intention is to get a layered feathered faux hawk then this establishment was never for you in the first place. They cater to young professionals and traditionalists. I have never received a bad haircut.

Last time I went to Resler Brothers(who are really, go figure, brothers), they were watching some Mexican dating show and talking sports. I got waved to a chair(I’ve never seen anyone else in there), the guy took a guess at how I probably wanted my hair and asked me, so I didn’t need to come up with any fancy euphemism(layered in the back? up off the ears? take about an inch off all around, but not too short?) for«I just want it to look like it did three months ago.» I love me a good barber, and I’m always a little bit nervous about playing the field. There’re so many awkward moments at the beginning of a new relationship. Are we going to be compatible? Should I keep my jokes tame to keep from offending him? Should I offer to pay, or just assume that he will?(I. guess that last one is less applicable here). Anyway, point being. This is a straightforward, come-in-and-get-your-hair-clipped, candy-striped pole barber shop. It gets the job done.

I got a little man handled(yeah, it is a barber but…) during my last visit –a little rough with the clippers. I figure that after a #3 buzz cut I won’t need another cut too soon and will get some pampering from a salon and a stylist with bewbies this fall.
