Lori has been an amazing real estate agent. Not only is she someone you want to go out to coffee with as a friend, but she is incredibly knowledgeable about the Davis market.
As a young couple with children, we had a time crunch to find a home– and we lived on the other side of the United States. With a month of prep work from Philadelphia, Lori pointed us in the right direction for schools, grocery stores and other Davis amenities. She mapped neighborhoods and broke down the distances to each school for us allowing us to rank what we wanted to see based on what we thought we wanted on paper.
Once we arrived in Davis, Lori shuttled us around to see the houses that fit our specifications. Of course, Davis on paper turned out to be different from Davis in actuality– and Lori cheerfully obliged as we last minute updated our preferences. She somehow goes without food, and stays energized throughout the grueling process of house-​hunting (or grueling for us, at least). After viewing 4 – 5 houses, Lori would drop us off for a lunch break so we could discuss what we’d seen. Meanwhile, she would make follow-​up calls and keep our process moving at a high pace. After lunch, we’d look at a few more houses. Lori seemed to know all the other agents as well as many of the other home buyers looking. She introduced us to Davis and the neighbors with ease. She was reachable by phone, text, and email.
Once we settled on a house, Lori made us feel like we had made an excellent choice. We wanted a bit of a project that we could remodel to suit our needs. This house was it– the house was ready as-​is more or less, but had amazing potential to expand. The location was perfect, and it matched up with our public school preference. Lori guided us through the escrow process. She recommended inspectors, and as new problems were discovered, she guided us through the repair and negotiation process. What would have been overwhelming and stressful was manageable and fun.
Even after closing, Lori provided us with references for contractors in the area and recommended ways to meet the neighbors.
We have been positively stunned by her energy, organization, know-​how and warmth.

Lori was the best real estate agent we could have wished for. Coming all the way from Philadelphia to look at houses in Davis, we spent a few intense days visiting over 10 properties per day. Lori had no problem keeping up with the high pace we requested, and was able to keep all properties fresh in mind.
However, it was after our offer was accepted that she showed her true value. Using email, phone calls, text, and video conferencing, Lori kept us up to date with inspections (chimney, sewers, pests, home, roof), repairs, warranties, setting us up with contractors, etc. Though we were on the other end of the country for all of this, we never felt disconnected. Lori did all the scheduling, and reported back within minutes if something needed attention. Using her vast experience, she came with valuable advise, and made our closing process as smooth as possible.
Mostly, I would say I appreciate Lori’s responsiveness to our needs and concerns, and her fast response time. I would highly recommend Lori as a real estate agent.

Lori is amazing! She was referred to us by multiple friends and co-​workers (who had all used her independently), and so since her name kept popping up, we decided to meet with her. My husband and I weren’t sure where we wanted to buy (West Sac vs Davis) and weren’t even ready to buy, but she met with us, showed us houses in both areas, discussed pro’s and con’s, and helped up make the best decision. Once we had saved enough to purchase, we contacted her and started the process. We were under contract within 48 hours on our dream house!
She is calm, cool and collected. At first I was nervous that her calmness would translate to lack of proactivity, but I was so wrong. She was always steps ahead of where we needed to be, and helped us negotiate price, repairs, etc. She orchestrated so much, it made the whole process easy for us, but I now realize how busy she was behind the scene. She was also extremely accessible, via text, phone or email, whenever we had any questions.
It was a pleasure to work with her, and overall we can’t recommend her highly enough!

I stumbled onto Lori in 2007 while looking to buy in the East Sac/​Curtis Park area. She reached out to me in the most low key way I ever could have imagined an agent to do so. Still, I was suspect and found myself waiting for her to ramp up pressure, become too pushy, steer me in the wrong direction or otherwise reveal her motivation to be more about her needs than mine. That never happened.
To the contrary, eight years, a couple properties and immeasurable good will later, I simply cannot recommend Lori highly enough. Her knowledge of the market is thorough, solid and reliable. She inspires total confidence by listening first to the client, then to other parties involved to know how to steer the transaction for the best possible result. She is frank; you can count on her to tell you how she views the reality of the market and the strengths and weakness of both her client’s side of the transaction, as well as the other party (ies’)‘s. On my behalf she has dealt with unpredictable, inexperienced agents, as well as savvy, seasoned veterans with expert diplomacy and negotiation.
This last transaction was especially above and beyond even her own high bar of service. It was a longer process than I had experienced before, due to the particulars of the property and the market. Lori explained her well-​researched, well thought out advice throughout the process and always made it clear that whatever I wanted to do, however I wanted to handle a situation, was what she would execute. The thing is, her advice was ALWAYS right, and the deal was sealed with an excellent result. I never had to worry about whether she was right.
As a personal note, I dealt with an unexpected death in the family at the very end of the process, making it impossible for me to be 100% available to address a few last minute unexpected details that demanded attention. Lori was right there, actually taking care of things that she had no obligation to take care of because she knew it would be very difficult for me to arrange. She was more than my agent in this process; it was a partnership. Because she is such a great person, I now consider her my friend as well as agent, and she will always be my number one — only — referral for anyone looking for an expert agent.

We purchased our first home in October of 2014. Lori was our realtor and she was AMAZING from start to finish. She first met with us and talked about budget and location. She made sure she knew what the top end of our budget was and stuck to it when showing us homes. The first time she took us out, she showed us a huge variety and just listened to us talk. Lori has been a terrific agent, from both the buying and selling perspective. I used her to buy a house a few years ago, then when selling it and my husband’s after we married and wanted to get our own place last summer.
She definitely knows the market and how to price a home: when buying she extracted concessions from the seller that I never would have expected; when selling, one house was on the market for about a week (several offers, one at asking) and the other house was on the market for a weekend (ended up going over asking, having multiple full-​priced offers). Throughout all three transactions she was nothing but the best: always on top of things (including a flakey buyer for house #2 sale), honest but aggressive in negotiations, and very helpful with worries, questions, concerns, follow-​up issues, and recommendations (for instance, for landscapers and contractors after the sale).
