The lines are always HUGE at this place, but they always have as many people working as they can and always move through the line and quickly as possible.

DO NOT GET COMCAST.
They change your contract without notice and they have «automatic updates» that increase your bill. Seriously don’t get it. I’m warning you.
But if you do get it DO NOT get any of their «special money back offers» they change your plan without telling you. Then you have to spend hours on the phone speaking to over 10 people. Seriously trust me. Just stick to the original plan don’t upgrade at all.

Horrible service. I ended up canceling my internet and the lady who helped me had horrible customer service and was very rude. I have never experienced such bad customer service like I did here.

Comcast service for phone and Internet is the worst I have ever experienced. every few months or so, we experience either phone or internet outages. Their customer service is beyond bad and they do not care about their customers. And when I say «they» I’m referring to the company as a whole not necessarily an individual employee … It’s very difficult to bypass their automated service and get anyone human actually on the phone but when i do, they are polite and do try to assist. I do not understand how a company with such a terrible reputation happens to stay in business. I’ve read other reviews and have spoken with multiple people and everyone I have spoken with complains bout their service. I feel like I’m being held hostage by Comcast because I don’t have much options to choose from when it comes to Internet and phone where I’m located. I understand that service outages can occur, but for it happen so frequently and then being unable to reach anyone to address the problems within reason is unacceptable. I just got off the phone with a human from Comcast to address an interent problem. It took me three days and 12 phone calls and multiple disconnects from Comcast before I was able to speak with a human. Comcast should be embarrassed.

Pretty much an average customer experience business. There was a huge line when we arrived, and they had three staff members taking people’s requests, so it’s not like they weren’t trying. For a small center, a huge line going out the door is kind of expected. The wait was almost 20 minutes for a 3-​minute conversation, so they’re not so good for that. My girlfriend and I were just here to return a modem that we got previously but we had one already. While we were there, we saw a huge spider on this table and warned the other people waiting there about it, so that was definitely not a pleasant experience to say the least. The staff members are really nice and courteous, even after a long day at work (presuming since they’re Comcast and they probably have to deal with a lot of customers in the day). For that, they get my respect for not losing their patience with all of these customers. All in all, it was a very average experience, nothing that really popped out in either good or bad ways.

I’ve had good experiences with one of their employees in the past. Last November I started having internet issues and tried to fix it via phone but their customer service was horrible. My internet wasn’t connecting with my laptop (but my laptop would connect to any other internet perfectly fine and my roommate didn’t have any problems). Around May, I went in to ask for a stronger modem and Michelle helped me out and gave me a better one and I haven’t had any issues with the new modem yet. Then earlier this week I talked to her again about changing ownership of our internet service and she helped me again and made our trip to the store very pleasant. Overall, I’m happy with my experience with Michelle

Please take ur pillow with you. The staffs chat and sing and not do their job. Online order is highly recommended if u don’t have the whole day to waste.

Some businesses deserve negative stars. This one deserves –5. Their service is overpriced and does not compare to that offered by bother providers in other areas. Their internet also works like half the time and grinds to a halt in the evenings when we get back from work. Terrible monopolizing company.

Easiest trip to Comcast that I have EVER experienced. I had been putting it off because the last time I visited a service center in Sacramento it was a complete nightmare. Not only did I not have to wait in line, I received great, fast customer service.

I wish I could give this zero starts. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I was charged $ 50 on my previous bill for a «failed video install» (meaning someone came out and flipped a switch because they couldn’t help me over the phone). I called to ask about the $ 50 charge and it was removed! I was so pleased until my bill came this month. The $ 50 charge was still there, so I called to remove it again. This time, I was told he could not remove it and could only take off $ 25. He said he could see that I called a month prior, but that I never actually spoke to someone… So I’m making this up? Seems convenient that the call can now not be traced…
Comcast is sleezy. Go with another provider.

Every single night the internet drops on me. Some nights it drops for a few hours and I cannot get school work done. The salesman lied when he told me it was fast and reliable. It is far from reliable. It is only fast because I called up and asked why my speed was only at 2mbs when I paid for 100. DO NOT GET Comcast internet unless you want to overpay for the worst, most unreliable, dixie cup internet on earth. My phone’s 3g is more reliable. And I wrote this review on my phone using 3g because I am fed up with this crapcast and it has once again dropped on me…

I agree with the other posters here. There is one lady that tries her best but speed, efficiency and customer service are absolutely abyssal at this office. You would think in a free market, Comcast would try to excel in customer service. Instead, just the opposite is true here. It’s like the business plan is to provide customers with the slowest, rudest service possible. We have ditched our cable service and only maintain an account for internet service. Trust me, if there another high speed option out there, I’d take it in a heart beat and dump these schmucks. AVOID if at all possible.

I came during move in/​out time, though it was a couple days after the actual dates so I assumed the crowd wouldn’t be that bad. Oh how I was wrong! I came in around 9:00 AM and left around 10:30 AM just to drop off a cable box and modem. I would highly recommend just mailing it in if you have the opportunity to do so.
The office itself is really small and a bit out of the way. If you don’t have a car, you might want to ask a friend for a favor. It is possible to get out of here, but if you are carrying a lot of things, this is probably going to be a very unpleasant experience.
The line will stretch out of the building and unfortunately there’s nothing that will make the line pass faster. The customer service is also a bit rough. If you’re not being directly serviced, the workers there are extremely rude.

If i could give comcast a 0 star I would! This service provider is horrible at customer service! I’ve never had problems with Comcast until this year. We started our service at the beginning of the year. For a good couple of months our internet worked just fine. All of a sudden starting November 2013, the internet started to drop for a really long time and go back on. Sometimes It wouldn’t even work for the whole day. It was mainly the wifi, if we used the ethernet cable the internet still works. We were all fed up that the wifi wasn’t working so this is what we did:
1. called comcast, the dude transfer us to the tech department. gave us a phone number. we called that phone number and he connected to the internet, to my computer, and started changing some settings. The internet started to work, I hung up, a few hours later, drops again. (specifically the wifi)
2. called comcast again, the lady said go exchange your router.
3. went into the store got it exchanged, set up the new router. worked fine for a couple of week, internet start to drop again!
4. called comcast, told them we were really fed up. we tired everything and nothings working. we’re renting the modem from comcast, pay like 15 $ a month for it! We event got the comcast dude to come and set up our router (cost us 160 $ which we were never informed about, but we still paid it). Than finally when i told them i want to cancel my plan, the lady stopped talking. I’m going, «hello?» and no answer. than the call drops. TOTAL WTF!
5. went to the actually comcast location, told the lady our problem with the internet and this is what she said to me: «buy your own router/​modem» are you serious??? we are paying to rent comcast modem! and the best solution this company can come up with is to tell their customers to go buy their own modem? maybe if you told me that from the start, we wouldn’t have wasted our money renting a crap a$$ modem! this company is ridiculous!
Obviously we are going to cancel our internet. try for another company, hopefully they will have better service! We are seriously scared for life with comcast and their internet service. The worst part of it all is knowing that its a monopolized industry and that even if we’re unsatisfied with comcast there aren’t much options out there for us to turn to. Either way, COMCAST IS A BIG SCAM!

I nominate this office as the WORST for profit business outlet in Davis. I went in about 3pm thinking that I’d be safe. What I didn’t consider is that if a place always has long lines there’s no relief regardless of what time you get there. Anyways, the manager was the only person in the front dealing with the public when I got there. After 45 minutes of standing in a line with only 6 or 7 other Comcast victims, a gal came out from the back. She futzed (doing basically nothing) for about 10 minutes while the rest of us watched her waiting for her to open another station. Meanwhile the manager just kept talking to the same low-​information couple that had kept asking her inane questions that had to do with ‘who pays for what’ for at least 15 minutes. No effort was made to move them along.
When I finally got to the station. The long lunch gal was hostile and completely unhelpful. Sort of a parody of what DMV service is supposed to be like.
This ‘business’ can hardly be called that. The person I assumed to be the manager was pleasant enough, but had absolutely no control over the people who I believe were supposed to be her employees. There was no effort to speed things along, no apologies, and a lot of attitude. So I can only assume that it’s always this way.
That was an hour lost that I’ll never get back. But if I can save any others from such an awful experience it’ll be worth it.

SCAM! I ordered a modem a few months ago and couldn’t set it up myself. I called the company and they sent a guy to fix it. Now, I receive an extra $ 100 on my bill because I was sent a broken modem. I was unaware of this absurd fee or else I would have definitely cancelled. Please do yourself a favor and go to a different company because Comcast is a big scam. They’re charging me for a broken modem!

Comcast locations are all crappy.
Long lines and awkward silences.
I saw 3 people walk out, tired of waiting while i was there.
I commend one woman who was working with a group of 3 girls that barely spoke english and had NO idea what she was saying to them. She remained patient and unflustered.
Other than that they really need to have more employees on shift, especially in the months leases are changing and services are being cancelled/​changed.
