Jiffy Lube

Never will be coming to a Jiffy Lube again. Will definitely be telling people about how they ripped me off on a simple oil change. I purchased the groupon for a 20 dollar oil change. I get there and the Manager I believe says pick your oil change, it doesnt matter with the groupon. I pick the cheapest oil change for conventional oil. They bring my car back and the service worker, who evaluated my car takes me aside and says my car doesnt take conventional oil… He also said the shop doesnt even carry conventional oil!!! WHY IS CONVENTIONAL OIL AN OPTION TO EVEN CHOOSE FROM THEN? These guys are barely mechanics and would more properly fall under professional scammers!!! I have gotten numerous oil changes at other places for conventional oil in my car. Guy says only thing we can do is this Synthetic Blend oil change. So since the manager said it doesnt matter which oil change I choose with the groupon, I figured I was covered. They finish working on my car, and I go up to get my receipt and guys says I OWE 41 dolllars! How do I owe 41 dollars when I purchased the groupon and he had said when I first checked in, that it doesnt matter which one I choose??? On top of them not being truthful with me about the type of oil, on my receipt it says they cleaned exterior windows, vaccuumed my car, both of which they did not do!!! I paid more than 60 dollars for an oil change and inspection, after I thought i was getting a 20 dollar oil change, because thats what the groupon said and what the manager said. How can I be reassured they even changed my oil filter, or really checked the other things that were apart of the inspection if they lied on the sheet and said they cleaned my windows and vacuumed my car when they didnt!!! This place is so unprofessionally ran, and will absolutely never be gettin any of my business again. I want my money back from you lying scam artist.

I feel so violated I need to tell my story. When I went inside they presented me a list of options for an oil change ranging from 40 to over $ 100. I chose the $ 40 oil change. After about 15 minutes of waiting I’ve noticed that it seems the employees are running some sort of scheme. For example one of the mechanics will come out into the waiting room and say «who had the silver Nissan?» Then the owner of the car would raise his hand and the mechanic would pull him aside into a separate room to tell him what was wrong with his car. I had overheard a conversation that made me feel uneasy. I won’t go into that right now instead I’ll stick to my story. My car is one-​year-​old most of my services get done at the Toyota dealership for free so I was very confident that even if they lied to me and said there was things that were wrong with my car I wouldn’t be getting the work done here anyway and I would take it to Toyota.
I got «called into the principals office» which is basically my version of the mechanic taking me aside to tell me something bad about my car. He knew it was a new car and mentioned that, he also said that the oil that I chose was not good for this car and it would mess it up he told me I need synthetic oil. I asked him how much would that cost? he said it would be about $ 80. I know that’s ridiculous so I said I’ll just take it to Toyota for free it’s OK thanks anyway I was looking for a $ 40 oil change. He then tells me that he cannot let me leave because he already drained my oil. And now I can either put $ 40 conventional oil in my car which would have messed my car up or I could choose the synthetic oil for $ 80 even though I had already agreed to a price at the front desk. (He opened the cap to show me that my car needs synthetic, according to a number on he cap) I went back inside to speak with the cashier and I told her I felt that i was being taken advantage of and I couldn’t even leave because there was no oil in my car. (He knew what type of oil my car took before he drained it. And knew what the order was for. He should have asked before he drained it, but that’s not how the scam works) Then the mechanic started to go lower on the price all the sudden «I’ll do it for 60 «and when that wasn’t good enough he said he would take another «five dollars off.» My frustration turn into anger and I looked him straight in the eyes in the windows of the soul and I said it I just said it I said «YOURE GOING to do this oil change for $ 40 or we“re going to have a problem».
He size dme up, I balled up my fists. And prepared for a fight after about 20 seconds of state down … I told him you better do something get the manager !
In which he walked away. All the mechanics huddled up in the corner while I spoke with the person inside she try to calm me down and said that she would take care of me then about five minutes later he comes back and says he’ll do the synthetical change for $ 42.50 I said I appreciate it. After this I’m never coming back here I feel like I should never have to make a scene fun of people just do not get taken advantage off specially since I seen it done right in front of me for the first 15 minutes I was waiting.
It seems as though the entire staff really is it on it and they just pretend that they’re surprised when they find out that you know do not come here there notoriously known for running the scams unnecessary shit that does not need to be done to your car for a very high price. And when you look online for the prices at Jiffy
it says it varies from location to location ! They make up prices whenever they want. And I used a coupon at the end. And it says scan the coupon but they never did. They think they slick. I was almost pushed too far. Murder1 wouldn’t be a good look for me

Will never go back to Jiffy Lube again. I have had trouble before with them but this time I was desperate. They broke the dipstick for my oil and never told me. I found out when I took the car to my next oil change a couple of months later and they showed it to me that the dipstick handle was broken off and I needed to replace it. Now I have to go back to Jiffy Lube to try to get them to replace it. If they had been up front with me in the first place I would have at least thanked them for being honest and not leaving me in this position. Now I have to take time off from work to go back and it will most likely be an argument. What a lousy thing to do to a customer. Never go there again. EVER

Don’t trust a word these monkeys say. They told me I needed a complete ac system and it is 1600 $. When they checked it they make all kinds of light go on on my dash as well and won’t fix it. Well when I went to my ac guy he said it was a $ 70 hose that was leaking. These clowns are just looking to make money. Stay away. They are crooks!

This has been various different car repair shops. I went to have my oil changed and tires rotated because my car maintenance light came on letting me know so. After they tried to upsell me and try to make me pay an obscene amount of money they finally started to work on my car. I did not wait long, but once my car was finished I noticed that the maintenance light was still on. I thought that I would give in a few minuets, because the car might need to recognize that everything was fixed. After driving for about 5 minuets the maintenance light had not gone off, and then my tire pressure light lit up. I called Jiffy Lube back to express my concern and they could care less. The gentlemens excuse was that someone just for got to check the tire pressure once the tires were rotated because they just assumed it was the same. I planned on returning the next day, but something told me to just take my car to my car dealership to be looked at. When the young man came back he told me that the tires were over-​inflated and could have popped, and they did not add any new coolant or windshield wiper fluid to my car, which is all supposed to be INCLUDED in the $ 90.00 plus that I paid. The one good thing I will say is that when I called Jiffy Lube to speak with a manager he immediately told me he would be refunding my money and sending a check in the mail. I will NEVER return to this location. I went there to get my car fixed, and they put myself in danger for there negligence.

I have to say, I was nervous trying this place after reading the other Unilocal reviews, but all I needed was an oil change and I don’t know the area that well. Either the reviews were wrong or management has changed as this place was very well run. Mike greeted me at my truck as soon as I arrived and walked me in. They were very busy, but got me through in 30 minutes. Ya, they tried to up sell me, but quickly and kindly accepted my declines.
The only down side was trying to get out of the Whole Foods parking lot they are in. What a mess.

At first I was delighted at how fast the service was but I soon realized why. I got in my car only to discover oil and dirt covering my tan floor mats. They did not vacuum nor spray the windows, a service that I am used to at my normal oil change place as well as a fluid top off. I learned that one this morning when I used the last of windshield wiper fluid five days after getting my oil changed at jiffy lube. I understand that it’s a typical factory chain but when a customer pays as much as they charge, a little TLC goes a long way. Go somewhere else.

Waited over an hour for an oil change (as did several other customers), I used to come here all the time when it was a family run business before it became a Jiffy Lube, and it took 20 minutes tops. Now it takes forever, costs more, and they try to sell you all sorts of upgrades all the time. Avoid this place at all costs. I’ll be looking for a new place to get my oil changed. Doing it myself may have even been more convenient.

Usually go to the place across the street, but they had a super long wait and I drastically needed an oil change. I will say — they are really fast. But, really do you have to try to upsell me on every little thing? Honestly we went through about 6 different things he told me I should get before I was finally — «Look, I just want the oil change and to be on my way».
Cabin filter was $ 50 — I declined. However, they went out of their way to pull out this filter… dirtying the inside of the car door and the seats with grease, even damaging the filter a bit… simply to show it to me to try and sell me a new one.
It took them double the time just to put it back in since it’s in such a weird spot… wasted my time for a service I didn’t even want. And did I mention they dirtied my seats with grease? I got in the car — and immediately noticed, so I got back out and told them. They wiped it down a bit and I could still see the grease in the creases of the leather… I had to go, so I didn’t push it… but there’s no reason they should of even been in the passenger side of my car — with greasy hands. I washed it off when I got back home with some leather wipes.
At the register — the young lady was super nice — they do a whole corny thing where they «roll out a red carpet» when you are about to get in your car. In theory that’s a «nice touch» but it’s extremely awkward — and dangerous for the employee bending over to roll out a mini red carpet — with no notice — when people are about to open their doors.
Won’t say I won’t be back because if I find myself in a bind, I’ll come back for the speed — but I will certainly plan out my oil changes with more time moving forward.

The lady at the desk was nice but that’s about it. I set down and they run in there & say come out you have a horrible oil leak (as they’re draining the old oil) now idk if they were trying to pull a quick one since I am a female & I was by myself or if this is just how they operate! I do have some common sense about vehicles and they said I needed a new head gasket due to the leak which absolutely makes no sense and I don’t know much about cars. Sort of like going to have a school for cosmetology for your hair well this is where they don’t know shit about a vehicle. They were trying to replace parts and kept suggesting I use oil that was 99.99 plus filters no thanks. I will never ever return to jiffy lube ever.

Went for an oil change today — they said that both of my backup lights were out. I went home to change them myself. Both were working perfectly — really. Were they trying to ad on work or did they just not know how to shift in reverse???

Went in for an oil change. I got harassed into adding extra things, I kept saying now and the guy responded by saying «why not?» What kind of professionalism is that? Also, he said let me change your wipers… I said no thank you. He insisted that he would offer me 10% off… I told him no I can get them cheaper on Amazon. He laughed at me… Took more than a hour to get a simple oil change. Never coming back to this Jiffy Lube. Is worse than getting an oil change at my dealer.

STAY AWAY
I came in for a routine oil change. I get called to the garage and was told a laundry list of things that MUST be done asap. The price tag was $ 980.
I was there for less than 5 mins.
Half of the items I had done just 6 months prior so I know for sure they are full of crap. I’m sitting here in the waitting room and watch each customer after me being called the the garage for the pathetic upsell.
This place should be shut down for taking advantage of innocent customers.

A two only b/​c the young lady was nice to me at checkout, took the coupon off my i-​pad and saved me $ 24. As for the rest… my car’s fine and I went in for an oil change. After 10 minutes of hearing from the Jiffy Lube guy about all the crap that was wrong w/​my car and me repeating, «No thanks, I only want an oil change» like ten times, I just wanted out! I mean if I would have agreed to have them fix all the stuff he said was critically wrong, I would have been out atleast a grand!!! All I want is a damn oil change dude! Comprende???

Not very speedy if all you want is an oil change, but I had a Groupon. Hate the upsell, I can change my own air filter and if I wanted another service I would ask. When I say «I just want an oil change» that is all I want.

This Jiffy Lube Lube location is truly a downgrade from it’s former incarnation as a Quick Stop Oil Change. I found the staff at Quick Stop to be friendly and honest. The service was fast and efficient.
I tried the new Jiffy Lube soon after it opened. I brought in my Mom’s Honda Accord for an oil change. As in most Jiffy Lubes, I waited until my car was looked at. I waited quite a while. Finally, the manager told me the price for the oil change would be $ 99.99! When I told the manager that the price was too high, he did not give me any other options. When I said I would take my car and my business elsewhere, the manager told me that it was too late, the car was already on the track and ready to get the oil. It was only when I still insisted on leaving that the manager suddenly reduced the price to $ 40. At that point I just wanted to get out of there!
A terrible experience for me and I suggest that anyone who goes there be very wary…

I recently went to this establishment for just an oil change. I have a fleet vehicle and just signed off on the oil change on the bottom of the sheet. They called the fleet company and did a tire rotation, wiper blade change, and air filter change.
They did not ask me at all. The air filter was just two months old and the wipers were less than 10 days old. I had to raise a scene in the waiting room to get them to go into the rubbish and get my old, really good rainex blades, and put them back on. All in all they hit my company up for over 100.00. I have now suggested that our fleet of 43 vehicles not be allowed to used this service in the future.

Pleasingly surprised with the service and staff at this location. I would absolutely return and recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for fast and friendly service. Great job guys!

Very very easy! Was in and out in 10 minutes. Everyone there was extremely friendly!
