Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

First time here. I had the introductory rate for a relaxation massage and an additional hot towels foot thingy (can’t remember the name for it) for an additional $ 15. I love the fact that even though they do mention at the end their monthly membership package, they don’t keep insisting on it if you decline like other places do. I don’t like memberships or contracts. I like being a free agent when it comes to massages. Anyway, the only itty-​bitty complaint would be that my scalp wasn’t massaged. I thought it would be part of it. I looooove to get my scalp massaged but it’s ok. I guess it’s because I didn’t even ask for it. Another itty-​bitty complaint is that the total time for the whole experience was approx 50 min. I thought that it would be 50 min massage and then maybe another 15 min with the extra hot towel foot massage since I’m paying extra for that but nope, that’s not how it works. Oh well. Approx $ 82 total with tip.

I have acne and suffer from a lot of breakouts. My very first visit was phenomenal with Felicia as my esthetician. She took very good care with my skin and was very sweet. My second time at hand and stone was even better with Maribeth as my esthecian. I felt very comfortable and and trusted her word on how my facial was gonna be like. Maribeth understood very well what it’s like to have acne prone skin and did flawlessly on the whole facial. My skin feels amazing from both of these women and i am DEFINETELY impressed by the whole staff in general and I will absolutely be regularly visiting this spa each month. I LOVE IT.

Very professional staff offering many types of services. Also offers great packages and member incentives, as well as top shelf products. Service is great, no waiting when you arrive at your appointment time. Had a great facial, and an excellent massage by Warren, who has great skill and intuition in assessing individual needs. All around professional yet personal and tranquil at the same time.

I’ve been a member since March 2016. Love this location, staff is very sweet & place is very clean. I’ve always had Kaydene, she’s very knowledgeable of the products & great bed side manner. She’s always sweet.

Massages are something I’ve been getting for years. This isn’t my first time around this rodeo so I know what I want and what I don’t. This experience has left me with the later.
The whole time I was waiting for George to «put his back into it», connect with me, connect with the service he was providing. Instead it felt clinical. Cold. And removed. I thought he was more concerned with my sheets falling off instead of connecting with my body. I asked for more pressure and he made a genuine attempt, but unfortunately, that wasn’t most of the time.
The whole experience was… commercial. Left me laying on the table thinking about cancelling my membership of TWO years.

While trying to shift my body to get comfortable out of nowhere comes and arctic blast, in intervals, from the vent directly over me. Why? What’s the purpose of having me on a comfortable, heated bed, only to blast me with this cold breeze. It was unnecessary, didn’t add pleasure, only discomfort to the experience.
And not to mention the insulting sign propped up on the front desk suggesting gratuity based on the service you received. I love tipping, have no issues with it but, suggesting to me how much you think is satisfactory is an insult to my patronage.
I used to have a memebership at one of their competitors and left for similar reasons. I’m at a point where I’m losing my belief in these francise massage parlors.
My husband who was across the hall having his own 80 minute massage, had a similar, unfortunate, experience.

I really enjoyed my facial and Microdermabrasion. All the staff is very polite and courteous. The lady that did my facial knew alot about the microdermabrasion and did a very good job with it. The only thing I didnt like was the face soap she convinced me to buy, it is way too gentle for my skin, doesnt do much cleaning.

I met James when he joined the Davie/​Cooper City Chamber. I booked my first appointment and have been there a few times with every visit being better than the last. James, the owner was there when I went and we had a nice conversation.
Jacqueline was the therapist and SHE WAS MARVELOUS. I booked my next appoint with her for 2 weeks later.
GREAT TIME, EVERY TIME.

It was a last minute reservation for my boyfriend’s b’day; and we did a couple’s massage. The GPS (I was not driving) took us the wrong way, we were late, but the people at HSM&F were wonderful, gave us our full book time, and I thoroughly enjoyed my massage, and the boy did too, he wanted a bit firmer touch, but enjoyed it the same. I got some personal massage tips from Maria, she was awesome.
If you’re looking for a clean, and friendly atmosphere for your next massage for yourself or with your honey, this is the place to go! Breathe and enjoy!!!

So I NEVER write reviews but I had to for this one. I’ve been to hand and stone once before at a different location for w facial and massage… wonderful experience. Came to his location. Had a hot stone massage with Alicia and a facial with Felicia. The hot stone massage was amazing… she was very professional and I was super relaxed. The facial however was different. Felicia was super sweet, and nice, she did my facial and did all the extractions. However it’s now four days after and the extractions on my forehead have left scarring. I’m so upset at this because I’ve had facials before. I’ve had extractions done before that have never left scarring like this. Im so upset. I would have given this a one star but the massage with Alicia was amazing. I will be calling and cancelling my membership with hand and stone later today because I’m not happy with the aftermath at. All

Got a massage when they first opened up. Clean establishment. Great presentation, had a good experience. Would go back again soon. At a convenient location but parking really sucks on weekends and busy days.

I have been to two facials with Felicia. She is great! I started out with a free facial with the Facebook advertisement. They won me over as I got the membership for 6 months. I look forward to going every month! I have not gone for a massage but I plan to do so soon!

Scheduled an appt. Jacqueline was my massage therapist. WOW!
Jaqueline gave me the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had! I’m a frequent client of massages because I’m constantly running around, in and out of my car, yoga 3x per week, on eliptical 3x per week, all of which create stress and muscle knots.
Jaqueline knows the exact trigger points to work on. Amazing! Never ever had a masseurs
Who was so spot on with her skill.
I’m enrolled in a 3 mo package and I will renew.

I happened to pass by and saw an advertisement for either a facial or massage for an introductory price of $ 39.95, I decided to go for it! Everyone was super nice explained all of the different packages and decided to get a facial. My esthetician was Iryna and she was amazing! She explained everything she was doing, it was a beautiful setting and the beds even have warmers. I loved every minute of it and ended up getting a monthly members package. 10+
