Ordered pizza for pickup. Ordered buffalo chicken and a thick crust cheese. Got bbq chicken and thin crust cheese. Had to go back to get the right pizzas. Doesn’t matter this pizza was delicious. Will definitely go back.

I have been here several times at various times of the day. The food is consistently good. Lunch menu has variety and food was wonderful. Dinner menu was great and food was tasty and delicious. We have also gone as a large group, with predetermined menu selections. Food was fantastic, large portions and pasta(homemade) is outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have also gotten a calzone takeout and it was scrumptious. I see some negative reviews, but my experience has bee nothing but wonderful. The food is a MUSTTRY!

Went there last night for Karaōke. We asked for the pizza menu. When we ordered the pizza we were told we could only the personal pizzas I looked around and there were pizza boxes on some other tables. I spoke with a gentleman who said he was the owner, who said they do not serve large pizza’s for dinner. He said they only serve them during lunch. He tried to justify not selling large pizzas! I told the gentleman that he was going to put himself right out of business. I will not go there again. The owner is grumpy, unprofessional, and mean. I will go somewhere else in the future.

On our second visit — the young and inexperienced owner made a mistake with insulting the customers at our table. We were about to order dinner and spend another hundred dollars but we changed our minds and left. According to the owner, «we don’t cut it» They need to consolidate the three menus that float around. the bar menu, lunch menu and the overpriced dinner menu. On our first visit they overcharged us by $ 10 so watch the checks.

Horrible experience. Place wasn’t busy, ordered baked seafood, wife got red cream sauce pasta chicken dish. Charged $ 5 for a tiny side salad. Tool over an hour and a half to get meals, my fish was burned and zero flavor, wife’s was bland as well. Returned fish, could hear cooks/owners griping in non English about it. Offered me something else, got a small pizza. They made the bartender charge me for the seafood I never ate and no charge for pizza” which had no flavor either” refused to pay that, they changed it. Two hours I’ll never get back and $ 50 I would love back.

I’ve been here a few times and the food is consistently good– The first time I came for lunch with a friend and we sat on the bar side. There were not many people so our food and drinks came quickly. We got a few glasses of wine and two pizzas. Everything was delicious! The pizza was crispy and very tasty, almost reminded me of bertuccis(probably because of the brick oven). Second time I came for dinner with my boyfriend and we sat on the dining room side. Pizza was not on the menu which was disappointing(I did not ask though) but the bread and oil was great and our eggplant app was also good. I got chicken broccoli ziti and it was great and my boyfriend got the vodka pasta which he really enjoyed but noted that there were quite a lot of peas. Returned this past weekend and got arancini and a pizza. The arancini were good but again there were SO many peas, it was really overpowering. The florentine pizza was dry and it was very different from the first pizza I got here about a month ago. The bathrooms were also very dirty which was unpleasant and made it uncomfortable to use. I will attribute this one poor experience to it being late at night(close to closing) and I will try again another time Seems like they are still working out the kinks but it is definitely worth trying!

My husband and I ordered take out from this place tonight. I am SUPER aggravated after my experience. I entered into the restaurant and was greeted by an unfriendly hostess, that always gets me, because it is their job to greet you… anyhow, I gave her my name and she told me to take a seat. I asked if they had bottles of soda, no big deal if not. I was told by a younger employee that he wasn’t sure, but he’d check. He came back to tell me what they had for bottled soda — I asked for 2 pepsis, which he said they had. He came back with the bill, and my sodas in a bag. The total was $ 27 and change — I paid $ 30 in cash. He came back with a bag of change and soda, telling me he didn’t have any $ 1 bills, so I basically gave him a tip, because I had to.fine. A few seconds after I paid, I looked at the sodas and realized they were diet pepsi… told the kid we wanted regular. They don’t have any. Well since we paid, we’ll just take them. I was seated for about 5 minutes waiting until the kid asked the guy behind the counter for my order, and of course the whole time, my order was sitting on the counter, getting cold. Got home hoping the pizza was going to be delicious to make me forget about how aggravated I was. I’m sorry to say the pizza was disappointing, the sodas were FLAT — expired in 9/2015…and the fries were fries. I won’t ever go back there again.

Their pizza is delicious! I live nearby, so it’s my new pizza spot. Every time I’ve gone, everyone has been very friendly. I’ve only ordered take out, but I’m excited to dine in and taste the rest of the menu soon. Highly recommend!

Working down the street from here I thought we were all in for a treat, but boy we were wrong. Ordered salads with chicken on them, the arugula salad came to $ 16!!! For basically bagged arugula, 4 grape tomatoes, soggy chicken and some shaved Parmesan. What a rip off! Those salads also took them over 45 minutes for them to make!!! Every Time we order, they have tried to over charge us or have screwed up our order! The bread for he sandwiches is fresh, but usually is a little raw and doughy in the middle. Pizza there is good… I will give them that. What a shame though, don’t waste your time there unless you opt for the pizza.

Just returned from a long awaited night to this restaurant. Heard good things before the restaurant closed for repairs. Seems to be a different place. Our friend ordered pork chop dinner with potatoes and peppers. One skinny pork chop, 3 sliced potatoes and a few peppers. Meal didn’t even cover his plate. He left hungry. My salmon, mushy, husbands pasta was suppose to be penne, as it said on menu and what he requested when asked, but had angel hair served. Chicken on salad looked and tasted like baked frozen chicken. Kept being interrupted by waiter with too many apologies. Sorry, won’t be back. Hope this place can pull it together. Nice décor.

Been here multiple times, have noticed a few things. Never once had the same bartender. Seems like they are rifleing through employees. So service has been a little inconsistant. The pizza has been good but not always the same. Meaning sometimes its goey center and sometimes its crunchy. They havent quite gotten that whole thing fogured out yet. Not to mention the amount of time from ordering to eating. Don’t be in a hurry. The place has good potential, they need to get their program together for more than 3 stars at this point. I look forward to checking out a few nhl playoffs games here so i’ll update this accordingly.

This was our third meal here. I had a pizza to go, later we had a pasta meal and calzone to go, and tonight we dined in. I ordered the béchamel lasagna with red sauce on top. They happily obliged. It was quite delicious, plentiful and inexpensive. He ordered bolognese again(that’s what he had to go last time) and loved it again. The atmosphere was lovely and the waiter was very attentive. The negative reviews here are ridiculous. They just opened and if it’s dead and you’re not getting service, call the waiter. Ours was ready and waiting. Granted, there were only about 10 other customers, but he was the only server and he did very well. Two to-order entrees and waters for 27 bucks ain’t bad. He also gave us a free lemoncello at the end, which we slammed back with a smile. I liked it so much that I expect to host work events here. He told me they do not charge a fee to use the event space. You should at least try it. Don’t just believe the handful of sh1t reviews.

This is now the best Italian restaurant in Danvers. Went with another couple for the first time last night and was very impressed. Service was quick and the waitress was attentive at all times which always makes the experience that much more enjoyable. But it is the food here that really excels. The appetizers were some of the best I have ever had, especially the Scallops Rockefella. As for entrees, the Veal here melts in your mouth, it is that good. The Lobster Raviolis were also very good with big chunks of lobster inside. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes. Highly Recommended!

We went back to Tuscan Hills, our 5th or 6th time tonight, with my parents — my mother order the special, not only did it come out 10 minutes after everyone else’s but the meat was raw, not rare but raw. Needless to say, she could not eat it. They took it back, to cook it but by that time she was over it. The manager came over, blamed a computer glitch and sent over a free dessert. The special was $ 28 and they didn’t take a dime off the bill. If this was the first time, maybe I would not be this upset but they messed up my daughters meal 2 weeks ago. We will NEVER be back to this place and I hope other people think twice about going. If they had a way of giving no stars, that would be my

I went here with a small group(4 of us). We got seated right away as there were not many people there at the time(the entire dinning area was empty) but then waited 10 minutes for someone to come over to take our order for drinks. Ordered a drink off the menu and it was terrible. Then we waited another 20 minutes just for someone to take our dinner order. The food was really good, and they kept telling us they’d only opened a month ago. Maybe it’ll get better but the service was pretty bad.

Large portions, great flavors, and decent prices mark this new addition to the Danversport dining scene. The negative reviews below don’t take into account that Tuscan Hills apparently just opened a few weeks ago, and with any new restaurant one needs to expect modest hiccups and a grace period to «work out the kinks.» Also, we’re not in a prime spot on Washington St. in Salem or in Downtown Boston, but rather a modest shopping plaza next to a Dunkin Donuts on Route 35. Overall, wait-staff were very friendly, dishes were flavorful, and everyone at our table left satisfied with their varied dishes of pastas, pizzas, and chicken. The menu is classic Italian fare, though both the menu and waitstaff boast of homemade pastas. I dived straight in for the classic Chicken parmigiana, which if an Italian restaurant messes this dish up is a serious red flag. However, I was very pleased with the two large(read: huge) slices of pan fried chicken that were cooked just right. It was served over angelhair pasta, with a nice red sauce. Others ordered the Chicken Florentine in a white wine sauce served over freshly made fusilli. Pizzas were also well-prepared in a brick oven in view of the dining area. Bread could have been better with a rather boring basket of rolls and olive oil. For appetizers, tomatoes on the bruchetta were excellent, calamari without lemon or sauce was standard, and antipasto just typical. Tuscan Hills has a full bar with a wide ranging drink menu. The only downside was a beer list, which was quite limited, especially on the draft side. Hopefully, this will be expanded as the restaurant grows. It’s not a romantic place, especially with pop radio blaring overhead with commercials and all, but Tuscan Hills fits the bill for a local neighborhood Italian restaurant with a solid meal, good value, and friendly staff. There are also several large TVs in the bar area to watch a game or catch the news. The open kitchen concept reminds me of Bertucci’s and it’s great to see the chefs at work.

Went here on a Wednesday night with 11 adults and 1 child to celebrate my grandfathers birthday. Keep in mind, this restaurant has only been open a short time. Our waitress told us it was only her 2nd night there. We asked some questions about the menu that she was unsure of but was more than willing to get the answers to our questions. Our food came out pretty quickly considering the large size of our party. I had the mushroom raviolis and they were excellent. Everyone in my party had various different entrees and everyone was pleased! I can’t wait to go back and try their pizza — it looked delicious. Also, I think the prices are very fair & comparable if not a little less expensive than most Italian restaurants. Will definitely be going back.

Took 10 minutes for someone to even come to the table. Waited 20 minutes for bread that was«in the oven, coming out soon» cold bread came out with mediocre dipping oil. Empty bread basket sat on table the whole meal experience. Payment was on our waitors iPhone. Didn’t like that much. Food was cold — not good flavor. Waitors did not know the menu at all. Asked about food allergies. Answer was«i don’t know» The table of 4 next to us got up and left after sitting for 15 minutes with no service. Other tables looked upset as well. The restaurant had a fowl smell that I will be smelling all night. Similar to a portapotty. Safe to say. This was our first and last visit. Sorry not sorry.

My husband ordered bechamel lasagna. An odd item to find on a menu for an Italian restaurant. What I found even more odd is when it was brought to him and I could find no evidence of bechamel sauce anywhere on, or near, the lasagna. There was what appeared to be ricotta, and this was in chunks, but nothing resembling bechamel. I ordered bolognese over fettucini, and the pasta was under cooked. So much so that it overtook the rest of the dish. There really wasn’t anything special about the bolognese to speak of — my husband makes a far superior one at home. My husband and I were both very disappointed as this location was formerly Saporo Italiano, and it was excellent. They closed for awhile once they got a liquor license, bought the space next door and expanded. Now they have a full bar, but our experience was disappointing. Based on the experience we had last night, I miss their homemade mozzarella sticks and pizza and hope they still have them for lunch. Otherwise, I’d steer clear of this — which says a lot, because the owner is from Italy.

It took over 50 minutes to get our food for 2 people in an uncrowned atmosphere, after eventually requesting it to go. It’s a new restaurant and we weren’t in a rush, but the small, open dining room gives its undivided attention to a bathroom right next to the tables. I’m a nurse and I’m used to eating dinner after hands-on nastiness without a second thought. However, the smell of what could have possibly been a mad cow continuing to die throughout someone’s intestines, wafting from the bathroom, was not what we expected as an appetizer. As a matter of fact, I hope that guy’s ok. The waitress was very kind. My boyfriend ordered steak tips and potatoes, and when we got home he actually received a piece of thinly cut steak and French fries.
