Had the founder’s favorite cheese steak sub for lunch and it was OK. When I opened the foil wrapping the sub looked delicious! There was meat oozing out of the hoagie. I saw the jalapeños on top and some mushrooms, but where was the rest? What I hardly saw was the cheese and onions. I thought they forgot these items, but it’s there, barely. I guess the cheese was fully melted into the steak. Wished it had more of these 2 items. The flavor of the steak was OK. It tasted better when I put some ranch on it. I didn’t like the mustard sauce, and I do like mustard, just not with my Philly. The bread was soft in some spots and dry/stale towards the thicker areas. I think the bread was frozen and defrosted. Not fresh bread. The tortilla chips were crispy and thin. These came with salsa. Salsa was good, not spicy enough for me. If the company have lunch her again, I would try a different sub.

If this is the best cheesesteak you’ve ever had you need to get out more. It was just ok. I had the chicken cheesesteak and they were stingy with the chicken. I paid for mushrooms but I only saw 1 tiny sliver. We didnt eat the chips as the guy frying and handling them was gloveless gross. Might as well cook steakums at home and make my own subs. Once was enough for me.

Full Disclosure: I won dinner for 25 at a charity auction and this is my first impression of Texadelphia… that said… WOWZA! Super food, super sides, super drinks, super service. Their marketing efforts worked on every level because we are HUGE fans now. My review focuses on their catering services, but I also think I can attest to the quality of their food. 1. The sandwiches… we received a platter of beef phillies and a platter of chicken phillies. They came with a variety of sauces… an AMAZING mustard blend that I can’t recommend highly enough, ranch, and salsa. You may think that the sauce is just secondary, but these sandwiches are designed to go with sauce and their sauces ROCK! 2. Chips and Queso… So crazy good. The chips are thin and freshly fried. The salsa tastes homemade and is thick, chunky and tasty… and on the mild side of medium. But the queso was the hit at our party. I think you can also get it on the sandwiches. I think it would be good on an old shoe. It rocks. 3. Service… It was so fun to pick my order up. They were congratulatory for my «winning» the package. The put everything together so nicely and offered ice and made sure that it was all carried out to my car for me. So yummy, service centric… I will be back for sure! And I will update my review after my next visit. and there will be another visit for sure.

I love the Philly cheesesteaks here! Ventured over to this spot a couple months ago since it’s near my apartment and I’m really glad I tried it now. I always get the Texican for all the jalapeños they put on it. The mustard sauce goes great with it! Also, the chips and queso is on point.

Texadelphia is as good as it gets! They have the most amazing phillies and last time I was there I was asked if I wanted the chips or their fries.(Note: Get the fries) Oh my gosh they were the most amazing waffle fries ever, worthy of a trip back just for them. Décor is fun and inviting, instantly giving you a taste of Texas. This place is the best of the best.

I went there today, I thought overall it was very good. My complaint is that their staff in the back that is making food do not where any kind of gloves. Gross! But The chips and queso is great! I’d go back !

It’s been many years since I’ve eaten here. I love the sandwich and chips, but the picante/salsa dip and ranch need a more sanitary approach. They looked pretty gnarly on my last visit and weren’t all that cold.

Texadelphia serves the best Phillies in Dallas. The queso is on point, the prices are fair and the environment is prime for hanging with your bro’s and watching sports. It’s a guaranteed 4 stars but considering the sentimental value that this restaurant holds to me I can’t help but to give it 5.

location is crowded. and a big tank like myself needs extra space to sit and walk through… the booths are pretty bad, your able to hear everything in the booth beside you and makes you feel like your in the convo too… food? ended up picking the south philly from the line up… the waffle fries arent all that, they get hard pretty quick and have a funny after taste… staff is deffinetly friendly. location is kept clean. restrooms are behind the drink fountain smh. wouldnt go back though

We came here tonight for the first time, and it was just okay. I asked that my beef be cooked with a little pink left, but it came out dry and well done, with a kind of mealy texture. The chips seemed saturated in grease, another strike(baseball batter strike, not bowling strike). If I had to eat here again, I would get my sammie with mushrooms and cheez whiz on the top, to make it palatably moist. How sad is that? That would make it 3 star worthy, if they did not fix the meat issues, which seems like the most likely scenario. I think we’ll look for a better cheese steak place.

Your namesake should not be your worst product. Badly prepared, not hot, and not a substantial amount of beef. Shoulda gone to Whataburger. The second star is for the mustard sauce.

First time here in years. I had the Chicken cheesesteak. It was good. It came with chips and I ordered a bottled beer. So not bad at all. I like the location on upper Greenville and it’s a large place so plenty of room and lots of TVs showing different sporting events. I didn’t love the fries because they were just alittle greasy. Also, the tables could be bused quicker I counted 5 tables that needed to be cleaned but they were all cleaned by the time I finished my meal. So If you’re in the area and you want cheesesteak give it a try.

First time to eat here. The service was awesome, so first I would like to say thank you to Manuel, you made a big impression. Second, the queso is amazing! Food was very good and fresh. Definitely coming back! Thanks for making our first experience a great one!

The only reason why I give this place two stars is because the food actually looks appetizing. You think you’re going to tear into a delicious, gourmet cheesesteak sandwich until you taste the steak which can be easily mistaken for dog food. Staff is nice. Pleasant ambiance. Bad food.

Texadelphia is an often forgotten restaurant for me. Having been in Austin for a few years, I have always been familiar with place. I have been to this specific location a number of times with my wife and a couple of friends on other occasions. The menu offers the expected cheesesteak, but also has a smattering of other options. You can get a beef or chicken option, which can be layered with various toppings from vegetables to cheeses to sauces. Sandwiches come with tortilla chips that are crunchy and have the right amount of salt. If you want, you can substitute waffle fries, which are also delicious. I am yet to have a hamburger here, but I will have to give it a try. Other items of note: — The queso here is delicious. Order it. — There is a sauce bar next to the self service drinks. Try the mustard blend, it is one of my favorite sauces for anything. Period.(Note to new diners, fill a bowl and leave the bottle in the ice) — If you are a Longhorn fan, they will like you here. On our most recent visit, we received some free items for our fandom during the game.

Food is delicious can’t go wrong with a steak sandwich. Beer is cheap. Just wish fries were standard instead of chips. They have a mustard ranch mix that’s off the chain have not seen it anywhere. I even thought of stealing the bottle it’s so good.

I am a bad steward of cheesesteak. I’ve never been there and it’s RIGHTTHERE by me! I am a sad potato. Actually I’m a sad jalapeño covered with provolone and queso mixed it with tasty beef and onions in a soft roll. Because that’s what I had at Texadelphia the other night and it was delish! And the atmosphere is college bar. Let’s face it, outside picnic tables make children run and scream and I HATE running screaming rugrats – looking at you Truck Yard. Nice variety of toppings, love the all you can squeeze ranch/hot sauce. And yes, they have Cheeeeeeez Whiz. But let’s be honest here and compare the sandwich to that at the Truck Yard – is it as good. Honestly, no. I think the sandwich at the Truck Yard has a better taste. But on a whole I would rather go to Texadelphia. The atmosphere is nicer, the sandwich is not GODZILLA sized and it’s not $ 15. I can get it with waffle fries and ranch instead of chips and chips. Did I mention that there are no running a screaming children?

Being from NJ and going into Philly for real cheesesteaks I had high standards for cheesesteaks. I had seen a groupon for this place and thought, why not? I have been craving authentic ones, and these I had to admit did the job. The biggest negative I would have to say is that they do not have american cheese. HOWCANYOUNOTHAVEAMERICANCHEESE? I asked for Wiz and instead received cheddar, still good. A major plus is that they give chips with salsa– even on take out orders(which might i add was done pretty quickly). Nice touch.

Ok, so I can be a little hard on places when it comes to cheesesteaks. I grew up in Philly and I know a good one when I get one. This place starts off so well with the hoagie roll. It’s a good roll. They chop the meat well too. This place goes downhill when they get to the toppings. They need to understand that pepperoni doesn’t come on a cheesesteak. Also get a variety of peppers and cheeses. Oh and place the cheese on the roll and over the meat.
