Awesome food! Good and efficient service. A happening place! Great décor and atmosphere. We were their Christmas night and apparently there were lots of us who didn’t cook for Christmas and preferred Sevy’s to do it. The place was full. There was nothing about it we didn’t like. It is definitely on our list for our Dallas visits.

Really enjoyed my dinner here. It’s a great spot for a business dinner or something personal. Service was solid, beer selection was good, food was tasty. I heard great things about their game, but the only item I saw on the menu was quail wrapped in bacon, which sounded a bit overdone. I ended up having fish and really enjoying it. Would come back.

I was in Dallas recently with a group of colleagues at a company function. We were searching for a good restaurant within walking distance from Hilton Park Cities. After walking to our first 2 choices and finding a 45 to 60 minute wait, we finally called Sevy’s Grill and got right in. The service was great. Our server recommended tasty apps to start as well as a nice Malbec. The smoked shrimp cakes were wonderful. The red fish special with stuffed avocado was delish! Everyone left happy. Glad we found it!

This place is awesome! I’ve had an amazing meal and great service every time I’ve been. I wish I could give 4 ½ stars. I may upgrade this review to five stars if they blow me away next time. I can be a bit picky about my five-star ratings. I highly recommend trying any of their wild game offerings. These are things you usually can’t find anywhere else and they do an excellent job with them!

I experienced Sevy’s for the first time tonight at a business dinner. Everything was perfectly geared toward business diners. A perfectly mixed Old Fashioned on the patio, attentive table service, and excellent wine service that never let our glasses reach empty throughout the meal. I had scallops for dinner. They were cooked beautifully — tender and perfectly seared. The chives sauce with them was wonderful. While I’m not sure this American cuisine restaurant would be my top choice for personal dining, it definitely makes my list for business entertaining.

Excellent food and service. I started out with a Manhattan and cheese stuffed peppers(right?!). The drink was just right. The poppers a little on the cool side. I had chicken and pasta with spinach. I recommend it. Wine was a cab but I don’t remember the name.

Enjoyed a nice evening on the patio with perfect weather and delicious fare. Duck flautas were our favorite off the appetizer platter. We share the 30 ounce steak, jalapeño grits and roasted brussels sprouts. Everything was fabulous with the exception of the snobby patrons sitting next to us who complained because salt-and-pepper were not removed from the table before presenting dessert. Oh wow. Is this what Dallas says come to? And bless the heart of the real estate agent who apparently was treating her clients to a nice dinner out at this top restaurant. They spent the evening trying to debunk all of her professional opinions about the Dallas real estate market. Please shut up so I can enjoy my lovely dessert wine. This is a beautiful restaurant and there are TVs on for the sports fans. Sit on the patio if you can. They have rolldown plastic windbreaks so the temperature will stay perfect out there.

I hosted a small work dinner party here last night and it was amazing. We started with drinks at the bar and when I inquired about Malbec, the bartender pulled out three bottles for me to choose from rather than just rattling them off — a simple, but nice gesture. We were seated promptly and our sever was outstanding. She was knowledgeable and could read our group on timing as far as ordering, drinks, food, etc., without being imposing. Appetizers came out quickly and our meal didn’t take long either. A couple of us had the filets which were cooked to perfection, tender and seasoned just right. A couple had salmon, sole and redfish along with various soups and salads. Everyone raved about their entrees. It was a little pricey but not overpriced for the level of service and the quality of the food.

We have dined at Sevy’s too many times to count — always a fabulous experience. The appetizers are all good — go for the platter! I love their steaks but everything they make is perfection. What makes the meal especially nice is the service, you will leave Sevy’s feeling cared for and treated like family. p. s. also great place for company happy hour! private dining room is perfect for parties

Every course from the salad to the dessert were superb. After my perfectly crafted cocktail arrived I finally decided on my main course, the lamb, and I could not have been more delighted. The service was beyond compare with Pedro guiding us through a dining experience fit for royalty. I am counting the days till my next Dallas visit.

Came here for a special date night with my hunny. Loved the low lighting and roses on the tables. Very romantic. The food was amazing. Had it been socially acceptable, we would have licked our plates! The food came out very quickly. We were in and out in less than an hour which was good, but i tbink we were planning on spending a little more time at dinner. I ordered a pear martini and it was super strong. They sweetened it up and it still tasted like straight vodka. But my boyfriend ordered the cranberry martini and his was perfect. I guess it depends how you like your martinis. I would absolutely recommend Sevy’s.

My wife and I had never even heard of Sevy’s until seeing it on Unilocal. What a disappointment. The food was not even average and they have a lot of nerve asking such high prices for such mediocre food. Nothing we had was outstanding and our bill was over $ 100 with tip which included no drinks, liquor or otherwise. My wife had lobster bisque which she said was average. I had corn chowder which was below average(people who thought the corn chowder was good should email me and I will send them my wife’s corn chowder which blows this away and is not $ 8 a cup). For our entrees my wife had lamb chops and I had steak and lobster. The lamb chops came out overcooked at first and they took them back and they were cooked properly. If only they had had taste. They were covered with a sauce which tasted like a jar of marinade you find in a grocery store. I had steak and lobster. The steak was tiny, tough and covered with a sauce similar to that on my wife’s lamb chops. The lobster tails were very tough and rubbery. In between the two was a huge portion of angel hair which was tasteless. All in all this was a major disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Legend has it it’s a Roger Staubach hangout and he knows a few things about food so it should be good. Pretty standard menu; well done but not exceptional. Interior design gives the whole place a much bigger feel than the 180 person room. Tables are set well apart so you can have those business discussions and do deals while not being overheard. Good fish, lamb and salads but there’s better places for steak.

My husband, daughter, and I came on New Years Eve and they had a menu especially made for the occasion. It was a four course meal and it did have quite a variety for entrees to choose from but it was $ 70.00 a plate. At $ 70.00 a plate I was excited to get a great meal but was disappointed with what I got. I have been to less expensive fine dining restaurants and received better food. When I came to do my review I was very surprised to see four stars by other Unilocalers, with that being said maybe the chosen menu was not for me but I doubt I will try the regular menu. The service was good, atmosphere quaint but the food… just ok.

We ended up here after we couldn’t get a reservation at several other places we were trying to get in at. I had never heard of it so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The ambiance was nice, upscale but not overally done. It has a nice dark wood throughout making it feel a little homey. We started with a few drinks, they have a good wine, beer and cocktail selection. My husband love the chai cocktail that he got. Even though it was saturday at 7, it was not crowded and the service was great. Everyone at the table had the lobster bisque except me. My husband wasn’t impressed but the other two liked it. So I would recommend a cup of it but not a bowl. My brother and I both had the scallops and my sister in’law had the sea bass special. They both raved, saying it was some of the best seafood they have had since moving to Dallas from San Francisco. I loved the shaved fennel salad that came with the scallops and the scallops were perfectly cooked. The roasted corn butter was delicious and a perfect compliment to the scallops. I wasn’t a huge fan of the crispy polenta, I felt like it didn’t fit that well with the other components of the dish, but it was delicious on its own. We finished with some espresso and coffee. It was nice that even on a Saturday night, no one rushed us or pressured us to free up a table. Overall, I will probably be back if I am in the area. I thought it was reasonably priced for the quality of food and the overall experience was great.

Nice Italian restaurant on Preston road. Standard fare. I had the veal oso bucco which was as expected. No real effort on presentation of any dishes. Was not thrilled about appetizers, had some sort of sampler with calamari that was way too bready. It does have a nice interior, very cozy on a cool night

I loved Sevy’s! The friend I went with has been going here for quite a while and suggested something that was no longer on the dinner menu. It was an almond crusted trout over roasted peppers. We asked our waiter and he kindly asked the chef who agreed to whip it up for us and OMG it was amazing! The drink I had was very very very strong so had to switch it up a few times but no one complains about strong drinks besides me right? Lol.

Very good and popular restaurant. Especially popular for lunch, probably because there are so many offices in the Preston Center area. It is an upscale sitdown place. Perfect if you have kind of a longer nicer business lunch.

My wife, our son, and I had a wonderful meal this past OU-Texas football weekend. Sevy’s has a pretty cool ambiance and is a little more upscale than I expected. Our waiter was top notch and did a great job with taking care of us. My birthday was a month ago, and my son gave me a belated birthday gift at the door when we came in, a gift certificate to another place of business. I guess our waiter oversaw the exchange. Sometime during the meal, he came and quietly asked my wife what dessert she might like to celebrate the occasion. After we finished our entrees, he brought out a delicious chocolate cake with a birthday candle in it. No charge for that on our final bill. I thought it was a nice unexpected touch of service. We started the meal off with the fried calamari … it was cooked perfectly. The calamari was tender, not rubbery at all like I’ve had in numerous other restaurants. For entrees, I had the salmon w/BBQ sauce, all served over mashed potatoes … it was great. My son had the mixed wild game grill entrée and my wife had the Chilean sea bass. She said the sea bass was a little saltier than she cares for, but was still delicious nonetheless. The mixed wild game grill was great! My son ate the quail first and then offered us a bite from his venison steak. The sauce was superb and it was some of the best venison I’ve ever had. The did a nice job with keeping my water glass filled and my gin and tonic was just right. Not too weak. not too strong. With our starter, our entrees, wine and drinks for the three of us, my final tab was around $ 200. So, it’s not cheap … but I do feel we got our moneys worth given the quality of the meal and level of service. All and all, I highly recommend Sevy’s Grill.

Just did not have a great meal at Sevy’s last night. I ordered rosemary chicken. Although it was tender and juicy, it had no flavor and was accompanied by an equally flavorless sauce. And did I mention the portion size? Small. Very small. Same deal with my partner’s tenderloin. No flavor. But it was tender and cooked to the perfect temperature. Sevy’s is a lovely restaurant with good service, but I see no reason to return to pay high prices for average food.
