My favorite is the crab ragoon and my mom is the manager. This place is authentic and is like a home to me.

I live in Frisco. So… you know this place is good if I’m willing to travel this far!!. Been coming here for, I kid you not, 25 yrs. Brought our youngest here when he was 1 month old and now here again on Xmas eve, he’s 22 now. Favorites are Mongolian beef and garlic chicken! !. Always have left overs and we fight over them the next day!

Have been coming here since my husband and I were dating almost 20 years ago in our teens. This is the best Asian food ever! I hope this place never goes anywhere.

I ordered a spicy chicken dish and it was sweet like chocolate cake it was so sweet I couldn’t even eat I told my waitress, that I didn’t like it, it was too sweet. She told me that I had ordered spicy and spicy means sweet… who knew? I paid and left hungry and angry.

A family favorite for over 30 years and three generations. Always tasty, always reliable fare; that is why this restaurant has been going strong for so long. It is also family owned and operated; a big selling point for me. One of BoBo’s most popular items is the family dinner, which includes potstickers, soup and entrees for 3 – 10 people. A great way to enjoy wonderful food when you’re with a large group.

Consistently delicious! Dine in or take out. Generous portions to share. Our favorites are the Sesame Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Love the old school traditional restaurant.

Your ordinary Chinese food. Made me wonder what was going on in the kitchen. Dark, dingy, and dirty is the best way to describe this place. The tables literally had a crust on them and I can’t imagine what’s lurking under those old table cloths.

We used to come here all the time when I was a kid… Nothing has changed… The food tastes exactly like it did 30 years ago, and they have the same plastic food in the entrance… The only thing missing is customers… I’m sitting here at 6:00 on a Wednesday, this place should be packed, but there’s only ours and 1 other table… Come back, support a Lake Highlands icon

This has been one of our favorite places to get Chinese food for many years however tonight we had a weird experience with our bill. We normally slip our checks when we dine out and use our debit cards. We have always had good experiences here so we just handed them our cards a asked that they split the bill. We only get one one dish and split it. Tonight our waitress who was new brought back our checks and had charged one of us for the full price of all the food and the other one that amount and an additional amount strangely equal to the full amount with a tip added. They corrected it but I felt it had been done on purpose. I might be wrong but it sure was weird. I doubt I’ll go back.

Fantastic place to have lunch. Went in with my mom and dad and BoBo China did not disappoint. Chicken fried rice, spring rolls and something called a Happy Family were all delicious. I think I will head back pretty soon.

Taste like a BoBo… well, more like an airport Panda Express, but do not go out of your way for this place. Crab Ragoons — no crab & order of 6 only had 4 Beef Egg rolls — no beef and very generic Mongolian Beef — beef was over cooked and sauce was terrible — way to sugary. Sweet and Sour Chicken — rubbery chicken and sauce was very watery We were hoping for a hidden gem but were sadly disappointed.

A friend of mine told me about this place. I love the Mongolian Beef. Delicious. I can’t wait to try something new.

Decent food at a decent price. Go and have a laugh at the tacky interior décor, which looks like it’s ordered from some Chinese mail order catalog. The service was prompt, courteous and efficient.

The«Bo Bo» Chinese restaurant. Well … From my POV, it was excellent! I am originally from Australia.(Newcastle, on Hunter). I am accustomed to GREAT Chinese gourmet.(Cantonese). GOOD Chinese food has proven quite difficult to find here in Dallas; until now.(14 yrs.). My wife and I visited The«Bo Bo» China just recently. I ate the Lemon Chicken. My wife had the shrimp.(«Prawns», where I came from). Time was mid-afternoon Saturday. We were served by an attentive friendly waitress. The place was clean & tidy. The food arrived quicker than expected. Both dishes were, at least to me, reminiscent of ‘back home’!!! Needless to say; we were both VERYHAPPY with this food and all other things. Prices were VERYREASONABLE for this quality and quantity level of food. Will be returning again soon.

Simply put, if you want the best Chinese food you’ve ever tasted, this is the place. The staff are super friendly and they attend to your needs at all times. The Orange Chicken is so good, that anytime I come to try something else, I cannot resist it! I frequent this place at least twice a month, and the reviews about bugs and nasty food, quite frankly, sound like trolls. Place is awesome!

Best Chinese American food in the DFW area. Service is a bit below average, but amazing food. Don’t go here for authentic Chinese, because it’s not what they’re selling and it’s not what they’re trying to be. Mongolian beef is dank. Owner is a boss ass bitch.

Just not good anymore. Servers have been there forever and now are uncaring and complacent. Food is inconsistent every time and can border on terrible. Dinner is also overpriced for the quality, why pay $ 14 for a meal that can be had nearby better for $ 9?

Average food that’s decently priced, especially their lunch menu items. My family loves the orange chicken but over the years it seems like their skimping on the chicken a bit. When you break the pieces apart there’s more breaded/fried layers than actual chicken. A few smaller pieces tend to only be fried breaded pieces with chicken completely missing. We have ordered the lunch chicken fried rice and it was ok. My only complaint would be that it as well is severely lacking in chicken. There were very few tiny pieces of chicken to be found. The service is always decently friendly. Occasionally you’ll get one or two waiters/waitresses who are clearly having a bad day. But overall Id say they’re all pretty friendly and quick. I would give two and a half stars if I could but since Unilocal doesn’t allow for that I’ll round up to 3.
