Dr. Yu failed to diagnose me properly when I went to her with some eye pain issues. It was written off as a dry eye. After a week of extreme discomfort, I was finally diagnosed by another eye doctor with a severe case of iritis. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Yu’s for a few years now but I will definitely not be going back. My new eye doctor was pretty astounded that the iritis wasn’t diagnosed immediately.

I feel bad after reading some of the reviews about Dr. Yu, so here’s a positive review that I feel she really deserves. Dr. Yu is really one of the best optometrists around. She’s such a sweet and knowledgeable lady who will answer all your questions properly. My sister has been seeing Dr. Yu for many years for ortho-​k lens and we are very satisfied with her care. Her prices are also very reasonable compared to other places, and we really don’t mind paying even more for quality service. Note that her office tends to be pretty busy on Saturdays, so try to make appointments for weekdays if possible.
And honestly, Dr. Yu’s a smart lady. She wouldn’t write a review using her own name now, would she? That’s a little bit too obvious.
Jee-​Ae, I’m sorry to hear about your experience there. However, I really believe Dr. Yu is not out to rip people off as you have mentioned. I hope everything works out for you.

The staff is very kind even though I finally do not need to take an eye exam and buy new contact lenses.
I definitely would go this place when I need to order the new contact lenses in the future, or I have any issue with my eyes.
I am so happy to find out this places.
Oh, also they (the staffs) can speak Korean and Chinese. too.
So wonderful staffs team with Dr. Yu.
