* Copywriting: We develop the right marketing, press release, newsletter copy, Web content, and Social Media profiles (think LinkedIn and Yelp) to ensure you’re hitting the mark with your messages.

* Copy-​editing: It’s true every writer needs an editor, a second pair of eyes, to make sure your copy is succinct and written with flair. We specialize in copy editing books, both fiction and non fiction, for authors. We are «sentence polishers.»

* Proofreading: Different from copy-​editing, we add the final polish with correct grammar, sentence structure and punctuation.

* Resumes and LinkedIn profiles written for you!

History

Established in 2006.

A former coworker, Katherin Scott, and I committed to starting our own company, naming it Taylor & Scott. We worked together and co-​mingled our individual expertise into one company. Katherin, with her MA in Human Resources, is an expert at resumes and HR newsletters. Myself, as a writer with BAs in Communications and Creative Writing, does all the rest: social media profiles, blogs, Web content, and editing author’s books.

I’ve been a professional writer for 30 years. I left the day job/​corporate world in 2009 as a Director of Communications. However for many years, I was a freelance copywriter and editor, under the name of Wendy Taylor Communications. In 2006, a former colleague, Katherin Scott, and I committed to starting our own company, naming it Taylor & Scott.
