Chase Bank

I liked it better when it was Washington Mutural… Chase took over and said they would continue free checking… they lied… about three months later, they changed their policy to $ 15 a month fee unless you have direct deposit or like 15k in your account… I guess making money off middle class families is what its all about for Chase… this bank is built on greed… don’t kid yourself.

I came to this location after getting off at 530pm and was help by a personal banker. Alot friendly than the one in venice. I am satisfied coming to this location. Great customer service.

Just waited 25 minutes in line to see the one teller on duty for a simple deposit.

I come to this bank all the time because it is near my house. The service is usually really good and friendly. I would say that if there is a long line it tends to move pretty quickly. There’s plenty of parking and three ATMs. One ATM is around the corner. This bank is spacious and even has a waiting area if you need to go see one of the reps in one of the cubicles.

I always go to this branch, is fast, employees are super helpful, never experienced anything annoying or long line or not polite customer service. … until this morning!
Can you guess what is for me the most annoying experience ever while trying to take care of my financial assets at a bank branch! ?
Telling you: A NOSE IN THE AIR TELLER with a real UNFRIENDLY ATTITUDE!

Suggestion: if you are a happy individual just trying to pay some bills and take care of your money do the same! Avoid this young lady short patience attitude if you want not to ruin your morning.
Life is already challenging and bills are not always a happy ending so i certainly can say that WE DO NOT need bad energy!

One star because I am tired of Chase taking up retail space every two blocks. With bailout money from the federal reserve. We need restaurants on the Westside, not endless banks, payday loans and Starbucks!

Disappointed in chase. This is the worst experience ive had at a bank. I usually am greeted by friendly smiles here at chase, but this girl tiffany lew was the worst! Rude and left me waiting for like 10 minutes with out saying she was leaving. The bank had incorrectly charged me for something and she wouldnt help adjust it. Then i asked to deposit a check and she got up and left again! Worst customer service ever! I used to like coming here, but with her there, i will NOT be coming back!

I had to go to the bank on Sat and I knew it closed at 4. I got off work at 4 and I work like 7 min away. I fugured Id still try to see if theyll let me in. I got there at 4:08 and the door was still open. The csr was so nice and she told me they wait a few minutes before they lock the door. I was so happy!

I have been attending this branch for years. I came on the weekend a little more than month ago and met loan officer. She was very friendly and asked about my rate on my home. She refinanced my home and consolidated my debt for a Low mortgage rate. She now is helping my sister purchase a home. Find Robin Glover Mortgage loan officer. Very Good.

If it wasn’t for the large # of fees for the different accounts, this would be 5 stars. I like how Chase locations are everywhere & this branch has plentiful ATMs where I never wait more than 1 minute to get an ATM. Also, developing a relationship with a personal banker to do transactions, open/​close accounts, works well especially if you develop a relationship. Everyone that works there seems pretty nice & friendly.

I’ve had Chase credit cards for many years and have never had any problems with them. Even with instances of fraudulent, unauthorized charges, Chase has always been swift with alerting me, helping me dispute the charges, and immediately removing them from my account. I’ve always been impressed with their high level of customer service.
When we moved out west and received an incentive in the mail to open a Checking account with Chase, we jumped on the opportunity. We received $ 200 just for opening our account! Since that time, our positive experiences have only continued. When we needed a bank check to put down for a deposit on our new apartment, we went to Chase. I was a little disappointed that there was an $ 8 fee, but I realize that’s how things are these days. When we had to go back a few days later for another bank check for the first month’s rent of the new apartment, the man realized we had just gotten one a few days earlier and this time he waved the fee. It’s this type of service that goes a long way and is much appreciated by loyal customers. Because of such treatment, I am much more inclined to recommend this bank to family and friends. It just leaves a positive feeling with me.
Every time we’ve dealt with chase, we have had short or no wait time, professional, knowledgeable service, and considerate care. I truly hope that this doesn’t change and that Chase remains an exceptional institution.

I bank at Chase and I love this location. The staff is particularly helpful and friendly here. If you need to open a business account definitely ask for Rafael. He always goes above and beyond to help you.

Don’t understand the negative reviews… decent parking lot, plenty of ATMs outside, and friendly tellers inside. And on a Saturday there was nobody there.

Love it here. You walk in and there’s always someone at the front desk greeting you. Yesterday five tellers and nobody in line. Had to go to B of A down the street to pay a credit card bill. Four people in line and one teller. After ten minutes and asking the lady behind the desk if there was anyone else. «We are short handed today». Left and went to another B of A.

All chase banks are the same to me, this one i just happen to have a bias towards because it is the closest.
I came here to speak with the mortgage loan specialist and the guy was very knowledgeable (as he should be).He gave me a introduction of options I could consider and even gave me and my wife a flyer for a free. FREE…seminar about house buying. We are saving our tails off to get a home and we hope to use Chase as our bank to loan to us. Who knows, things may actually change and i might switch my mind, after all i can flip flop quite a
for now I am hoping to take advantage of whatever seminars they are providing. I am tired of renting.

Convenient banking location with a free parking lot near downtown Culver City!

Someone got a hold of my card when I was without my pants a month ago (Pantless Train ride circa Jan 9, 2011) and so I went through the «fun» of cancelling my card and then recently getting 3 charges reversed as said douchebag valley goer (charges were done in Encino and I live/​work in Culver) enjoyed themselves at my expense… temporarily at least.
I went in promptly and had things taken care of on my lunch hour today. Wil assisted me with it and was an absolute sweetheart making sure that I will get a new card reissued to me before my trip to igloo town to see a boy that warms my heart. (/​end cheese)
I’ve never had a bad experience with this bank ever since it changed over to Chase. I think the horrible woman that used to work the Merchant line went bye bye when they changed over.
Easy to find. Tons of parking. Atms right up front for those that are going to S&W across the street. If I’m going to a local branch, this is my stop.

I recently visited this branch to close out my checking account, my savings account, and take my name off of my father’s joint account. I’ve recently found a really good bank — USAA — and wanted nothing to do with Chase once I received correspondence from them stating that they would no longer offer free checking (unless you met certain exemptions, which I did not.)
I sat down in the next available representative’s cubicle and told her that I would like to close out my checking and savings accounts and close out my participation in my father’s joint account. I further explained that I did not want to close out the joint account and just wanted to take myself off of it. I explained that in what I felt was a clear and concise manner. She nodded in acknowledgment.
Well, she then proceeded to close out my checking account, saving account AND the joint account. I had to stop her when I saw her filling out a third withdrawal slip. I had to remind her that I only wanted to close out *my* checking and savings account and keep my Dad’s account open for him, but just take me off of it. She replied, «I didn’t hear you say that. I thought you wanted to close out all three accounts.» I very politely told her no and that I was sorry if she had misunderstood me. She nodded her head and said nothing. Fine. Whatever. Bad day? Shitty job? Sure, I get it. I let that one slip. She continued to close out the two accounts I had originally requested be closed out, gave me a check, and I was on my way.
Why am I writing this review? Because of the following: Flash forward exactly ten days. I log on to
and see that the savings account was not closed out. Nope. It still had a penny in it. A freaking penny. She had done a «withdrawal» for the full amount minus a penny. So, I looked up the different savings accounts Chase offered, and saw that I would have to maintain a balance of $ 300 to not get hit with fees. Are you serious? I called the 1 – 800 number, immediately got a representative (no wait time, wow), and had him close out the account. The way it was SUPPOSED to be done the first time.
To add further insult to injury, that joint account I mentioned earlier? Welp, it’s still a joint account. I was not taken off of it.
Lastly, I have no idea if leaving that penny in my account was an honest mistake, or if she thought it’d be a fun way to f**k with a customer that day. Either way, she sucked big time, and I’m so glad that I no longer bank there.
