Servpro Of Petaluma – Rohnert Park

I had a very bad experience with this company. They were unprofessional and tried to swindle us out of $ 250.
I work at a volleyball club in San Rafael. We had an accident which caused a fire extinguisher to discharge. We had to close our business and cancel all operations. We contacted the San Rafael branch and they told me that someone would call me within an hour. An hour and a half later Ivan Espinal from the Rohnert Park branch called me. He told me he would be able to see me within an hour. Again an hour and a half later he showed up.
He took a brief look at the affected area and very briefly spoke to me about our options. He took no measurements of the area but still promised me that he would be able to provide me with a written quote «first thing in the morning.» I repeated to him how important it was that he was prompt as we had to be completely closed until the problem was solved. He assured me this was not a problem.
The next morning he didn’t email me. I sent him an email asking again that he hurry the estimate. After no response I called him and he did not answer. A little later he called me back to let me know that he was too busy to complete the estimate and he would have to have someone else do that for me. He also informed me that if I wanted the quote he would have to charge $ 250. This was nearly 24 hours after he had initially promised the written quote with no mention of any fee. In the mean time our business was closed. If we had known about this upfront we could have at least looked for other solutions in the time it took them to not give us what they had promised. It is my opinion that they are a bunch of crooks and conduct their business in an unethical way.
I used to do business with this company as a flooring vendor and have given them hundreds as referrals over the years I worked there. After this I will NEVER use this company again and will go out of my way to make sure people know how unprofessional they are.
