I had the best experience at Hertz Car Sales Costa Mesa. I was a first time car buyer and very nervous about making such a big decision. I went other places but Sean Katelan and Ana Hernandez were by far the best!!! I never once felt pressured at any time. They both took their time to walk me through all my options and were extremely patient as I took the time to weigh all of those options. From all the questions, to looking at financing, test driving cars, to the color of car and amenities I was looking for, they both at all times made their priority about me and not the sale. They were always making sure I was comfortable with any of my decisions all the way until the end. Amazingly professional, friendly and compassionate to all of my needs. I walked away within my budget and with a 2015 Kia Soul+ under 32,000 miles on it. I am loving every minute of it and can’t thank them enough for all of their help. Sean and Ana you are truly the best and are an excellent example of true customer service! Extremely happy!!!

I recently bought a 2015 Hyundai Elantra from Hertz and would definitely recommend anyone looking to buy a car to check Hertz out! I was helped by Sean, who has sold cars to my mom’s friend, her son, and also another one of my friends. So there’s obviously a reason we all have gone to him. He is extremely helpful and not pushy. He genuinely wants you to walk out of there with a car you are stoked about buying and he will do everything in his power to make sure that happens. This was my first time buying a car from a car lot and the experience couldn’t have gone much better. He was very understanding of my price range and was able to accommodate it perfectly and I walked out with a car I am loving as well as one that is in my budget. The whole time he was really cool, helpful and very patient. Not once did I feel pushed or like he was selling me something I wasn’t sure I wanted. It was more like he was helping me and not selling me on something which made the experience great. Anyone looking to buy a car definitely check out Hertz and ask for Sean if you have the chance. You will not regret it.

I recently purchased a 2015 Hyundai Elantra from this Hertz location their customer service was fantastic. Not only did they make the car buying experience the least amount of hassle as possible but they worked with me to give me a car within my budget with a low APR even though I don’t have the best credit. Sean was my salesman and his customer service was fantastic. I’ve had the car for a few weeks now and so far so good.

my husband and i had went to many dealerships to buy a used car with low miles around $ 10,000, every where we went we got the run around and had to deal with pushy salesmen. I found Hertz on Autotrader and saw they had alot of used/​certified cars at great prices with low miles. I researched the car i wanted online, a Nissan Versa and went and met with Dirk who showed me a Nissan Versa, after testing driving the car, i knew it was for me. Dirk was a great help with the purchase of my car and i would recommend others to Hertz for a great buying experience.

I was recently looking to buy a second family car. After seeing the great reviews here, I decided to come by to take a look at their lot. My fiancé called ahead to ask about their inventory, he spoke to John who told him I should ask for him when I got there and he’d help me out. I did just that, yet he acted like he had no idea I was coming in and caught him at a bad time. He told me to show myself around and let him know what I thought. Their selection is small in my opinion but the prices are good which is why I’m giving them two stars instead of just one for the lack of customer service I received. I went over to Carmax next door and drove off in my new Hyundai Accent. Their loss.

The service i received from Salesman Javier was good, he was attentive to seeking my search for the vehicle i asked for and submitting my application. He made it as easy woth no hassle. I then spoke with Anita in Finance, she was able to provide quality service and shared an overall objective viewpoint, and put to to ease on a decision. She is an assett and i commend her for her overall performance. She really gives Great Customer Service, ask for Anita, you can count on quality with her and she made me feel comfortable to talk with. I liked Hertz Costa Mesa, good business dealership!

This Hertz site is absolutely amazing! I needed a place to buy my first car in California and the workers there made it so easy and were so helpful through the entire process! Definitely ask for Sean. He is such a rock star. He’s super funny and accommodating and just wants to make sure you get the best. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy their next car!

I recent purchased a 2014 Nissan altima from them and the experience was great. I was unsure if I would be able to purchase the car I wanted due to not so good credit. So I went in to take a look at a few cars and learn a little more about Hertz. I explained my situation to Sean our salesman and he was very understanding. Instead of test driving vehicles and getting all excited to find out I was unable to get the vehicle we took a different approach. We decided to first take a look at my credit and some financing options to see where we were at and what would work best for me since I couldn’t afford a high car payment. Much to my surprise after a few hours in the dealership I left with the car I wanted with a car payment that was perfect for my budget. It was a great first car buying experience they are not pushy and are very upfront and honest. They layout all the options for you and allow you to decide without any pressure which I eThanks Sean! I recently got promoted in my company and needed a vehicle to commute to my new position. I had been looking around at a few used car dealerships in Huntington Beach, but nobody had what I was looking for in the price range I wanted (under $ 14,000, under 50,000 miles, Toyota/​Honda). I saw a 2014 Corolla with 45k miles priced well under my budget, but had a few qualms about buying a rental car so didn’t stop by right away. After test driving several cars at typical dealerships (some of which were actually rentals as well), I was tired of salesmen trying to push me to buy cars that weren’t what I was looking for.
I came in Wednesday afternoon to find out a bit more about Hertz Car Sales and was helped by Michael, who gave me all the information I needed, and wasn’t trying to upsell me into something I couldn’t afford. He was honest about the features I was getting in the L model I was looking at, and honest about the features in the better trims, but was respectful to what was actually important to me.
I told him I needed to finish a pre-​approved financing app before I was ready to buy and would be back in the next two days. He was going to be off and I didn’t want him to miss out on commission after being so helpful. He assured me that it wasn’t an issue since they only get some points for credit and not a typical percentage commission (I work in a sales environment and most salespeople hate when you give your business to their coworkers).
I ended up coming in Saturday to buy, but was going to get there 30 minutes before closing. I called and spoke with Sean and he assured me that since I had already been pre-​approved for financing and new which car I wanted to buy that he wouldn’t mind staying a bit late to get me taken care of. Even still we ended up running a few applications to make sure I was getting the best rate. He and the financing specialist were tremendously patient and helpful and showed no sign of frustration that I kept them an hour past closing.
All in all, very good first time buying experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for an almost new used car for a great price.

I just got a 2014 Toyota Corolla from Hertz Car Sales in Costa Mesa and I had a great experience and am very happy with my vehicle. Brian was my salesman and the finance manager was so nice, and got me a killer APR, considering my not-​so-​great credit. At no point in my time there did I feel pressured or uneasy about anything. I did my research on «dealers» in the area and there is a reason why this place is practically the only one with 5 stars. I had a great experience and I recommend anyone who is looking to get a great vehicle for a great price without getting taken advantage of.

Everything was so perfect from beggining to end. Javier was our agent and he was so helpful. We were asking so many questions because it is our first car. With patience and professionalism he answered everything. It is a world of a difference to walk in a regular car dealer where you feel the pressure. No at Hertz. They are so welcoming and they really try to get what you want at the best deal possible. Thank you Javier! We are extremely happy with our car.

I have been looking at Camaros for a couple months but none of them presented a great situation because of my credit. That all changed here. Anita’s energy and ability to really explain everything put me at ease.
Franciscos relaxed approach also put me at ease. They were able to work with my situation and get me the car I wanted. Don’t worry they won’t pressure or try to lure you in here. They give you all the options and let you make the decisions.

Sean made my first time buying a car simple and comfortable. He gave me all the information I needed and answered any questions I had for him. With Seans help I was able to purchase the Kia forte I was interested in. The car itself was in great condition. I would definitely recommend Hertz in Costa Mesa to anyone looking for friendly and knowledgeable people to work with when purchasing a vehicle.

I recently had a pleasant experience with Hertz Car Sales Costa Mesa. I was in search of a 2012 – 2013 Toyota Camry and they had just what I needed. I submitted a finance application online and Sean called me the next day to go over some details. He kept me updated when I was approved for an auto loan. Within a matter of hours I was at Hertz test driving the car. I cannot say enough about Sean. He made the car buying process a breeze and he was very informative, welcoming, and not pushy at all.
I signed all the financial paperwork with Anita. She was so sweet and easy to talk to. Honestly, I felt so comfortable when I was going through the process and it’s because the associates at this location really care and want the customer to be satisfied.
The price of the car was below KBB! They have a good variety of cars and they have prices you can’t beat. I highly recommend this place if you are an experienced car buyer or a first time car buyer like myself.
