We had laminate, tile, and carpet installed with LA carpet and the experience couldn’t have been better. Ray and his team were easy to work with and answered all of our questions. The installation team was professional and courteous. The unique thing with this company is their pricing. They post the price per square foot with installation and any pads you will need underneath, which takes the guesswork out of figuring your cost, making your decisions simple. Thank you LA Carpet!

We had LA Carpet install new laminate and carpet throughout our house in 2014. It looked great, at first. Since then the border between the tile and laminate in our living room has lifted twice. They came out to repair it once without a problem. The next time, they came out and said it was due to «animal urine» which was completely absurd. My husband had to insist they fix the border and they did. Since then, the border has lifted numerous times causing unsightly gouging in the border. We were told that laminate would not dent or gouge and was tougher than real wood. We’ve just glued the border down to avoid another confrontation with their «customer service» representatives. But it pains us to see the gouges in such an expensive floor.
We’ve also had them repair the sloppy corners that were cut to connect the borders. Apparently, the installer didn’t know how to cut 45 degree angles.
Just recently we noticed there is a gap between the flooring and the border near our bedroom floor. It is completely uneven! We’re not sure why we didn’t notice this before or how this happened. But it also appears to be due to shoddy installation also.
We’ve also recently noticed scratches on the floor in the living room and what looks like a warped area in the dining room. We are completely dissatisfied with the quality and installation of our floor. It disgusts us that we paid about $ 8,000 for such a lousy job. It’s embarrassing to have guests over and decreases the value of our home. Please heed our advice and take your business elsewhere.

Ray Saidian came to my house and did all the measurements for the house. We are putting carpets in our new house we bought. He was on time and explained everything in detailed that they where going to do and how long it was going to take to get the job done. He gave us a great price and we where sold. I would definitely recommend him to other people.

Here we are a full year after the job started and it still not finished! Still waiting for the cabinet door that the tile guy damaged to be replaced. It shouldn’t take a year to get a replacement door! How can they claim these cabinets have a lifetime guarantee if it’s impossible to even get a replacement part? Also, still waiting to have the door and drawer hardware installed. I seriously wish I had been able to withhold 10% from the final payment, but again — since this was 100% financed with no interest, I didn’t have that luxury. This was a $ 30k job and as soon as they got paid, I didn’t matter any more. It’s been nothing but empty promises for the past year.

We had an amazing experience shopping for carpet. Ray was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

We got 5″ baseboards put in and although price was good and Ray was very nice, there was touchup needed afterwards and some patching. I called to complain and they agreed to pay for a professional painter to do the touch-​ups. I would recommend that you line up a professional painter the day after the boards are done to expedite. Everything is a-​ok now and am very happy with the baseboards.

Listen, I would bore you to death with the agonizingly long story, but just TRUST me… SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE! The entire process was a complete mess from the consultation that took place at my house to the unorganized installation. On a positive note, I got a free upgrade on the carpet.

This was our 2^nd time dealing with LA carpet and Mehrshad Bozorgi, the first time we went to the branch in Irvine and this time we came to Corona branch since that’s where Mehrshad (our sales person) moved to. Product was exactly what we hoped for pricing was the lowest we could find including all the costs, installers were on time and professional (the demolition was just a bit messy) but overall a five star experience.

I had previously posted a not so positive rating on LA Carpet.
We used Universal Carpet in the past (Universal and LA Carpet are sister companies) and choose to use the LA Carpet location as it was closer to our new home. We were so happy with our original experience with Universal Carpet 5 years ago that we did not even shop around.
We had carpet, laminate, baseboards, and kitchen completed through them. There was frustration during the remodel related to poor communication and quality of product. But after some headache the work was completed to our satisfaction and only my husband and I will know where the areas of concern were.
I am happy to say after posting my initial review we were immediately contacted by customer service and I explained what we went through in the remodel. The representative apologized and explained that LA Carpet values their customers and they were disappointed to hear about our personal experience.
I changed by rating as I value companies that value their customers and we were happy that they reached out to us.

I am pleased to say that LA Carpet is one of the best places where I have ever done business! Some people don’t seem to value honesty and hard working people but I do. I was helped by the manager named Ray Saidian at the Corona store. He spent over an hour helping my husband and me pick out the best carpet for our home. Then he set up a time to come out to our home to measure and give us an estimate. He showed up on time, was very polite and respectful of our time. He was honest and direct with us. He didn’t make us haggle over the price, instead he gave us the best price right away and gave us exactly what we were looking for. The quality that you get for the price is great! He went above and beyond our expectations to give us the best price for additional work we decided on after his visit. We started to go a little over the budget we set for this project so they offered us interest free financing. WOW… We didn’t expect that! Who could say no that? The next day we confirmed everything and the installers were out the following week and did everything in a few hours (and I got several rooms done). I was impressed with their speed and how carefully they moved my furniture. After they finished one room, I realized that the color wasn’t what I thought I ordered. I called the company and they had me speak back to Ray. He immediately stood behind their customer satisfaction policy and sent someone out to change the carpet for me. I only had to pay for labor since the carpet had a satisfaction guarantee for 60 days. I would like to unequivocally say that have never worked with someone like Ray that showed this level of respect and professionalism. LA Carpet was the last place we tried after several rude, rip off companies (including Direct Buy). He represents this company well by the way he interacts with his customers. They also have a 10 year installation warranty which gives me peace of mind. If any of my friends or family ever need anything done in their home or business, I would recommend LA carpet over any other place.
I used the SmartStrand Stain Resistant Carpet made in part from renewable resources and I love it! So far so good! If the carpet falls apart or deteriorates I will update this review. :-)

We had wood floors installed and it looks really nice. Bobby the sales person was prompt courteous and very helpful in helping us choose the right floor for our needs. the installers rigo and Ishmael were very friendly and worked hard to get our floors done in two days. they also did top quality work and I would highly recommend these two installers and la carpet for future work.

1– L A carpet has everything you can think of regarding flooring. You will find what you are looking for.
2– once we made the purchase your scheduled the install. They said it was going to be a 2 day install but this crew of two workers banged the project out in 1 long day. They started about 9am and were finished about 10pm. Yep only one day. FYI I had about 600sq ft of flooring installed.
3– the finished work is great! I will be coming back to L A Carpet for more work.
So why a 4 star vs a 5 star. Simple once your flooring is done you need to call customer service so they can send out a crew to tack down the edges of the carpets.
Not a big deal but that does require someone to be home so the work can be completed.

I would like to say I have been pleased with the entire process. Ray Saidian was the one who helped me since day 1. My dad and I went to the actual showroom on sunday and decided on few hardwoods and carpet we were interested in. Next day on Monday, Ray came out to our house with those samples and measured the square feet for carpet and hardwood installation. He gave us a price which was out of our budget but he sat down with us and worked with us patiently and eventually we were able to get the price within our budget. (Bargain, bargain and bargain some more because they are willing to negociate) I had received quotes from 4 other companies and had negociated the rock bottom price but Ray was able to go much lower and within our budget. He ensured that instalation would be done by professionals and explained warranties on each product they were installing. Installers came the following week since the week we made the deal was a thanksgiving week. It took about 4 days for installers to complete the hardwood and only a day to complete carpet. (keep in mind they installed approximately 2,900 Sq ft of carpet/​wood) it’s been a week since wood has been installed and I haven’t had any issues so far. They have 10 year installation warranty which gives me peace of mind.
I highly recommend Ray and LA Carpets to everyone. So far I haven’t had any issues with Ray or their customer service. But if anything changes I will surely make sure to inform everyone on Unilocal

If I could give zero stars I would. If you want to meet the worst salesperson ever, come and ask for Ray Saidian, the regional manager. Not only was he not helpful, he was degrading too. We came looking for a specific carpet. When we came in, he was on the phone. He did not even acknowledge us until 5 minutes after he got off the phone. When he finally got to us, he kept pointing out that he was the regional manager and he could give us any price he wants. Then when he found out that we had been searching at other stores, he said, «What’s the point of talking about price with you, you guys are not going to pick one today anyway.» Awful experience. How did he make regional manager?! Oh and the prices aren’t listed so they could mark up the prices whenever they want.

So far I’m giving 5 stars even before my floor gets installed just because Ray was such a great guy. Came over on time to give the estimate and was very patient with us. Helped us get the financing and I’m super excited to get my floors done soon. Thanks Ray for all your help.
Floors are completed and they definitely earned the 5 stars. I love my floors and the installation guys were super friendly and professional. Super clean and punctual. Ray checked in on the progress of our floors and was extremely courteous and helpful. If you need flooring do not hesitate to call LA Carpet. Thanks again Ray! I bought hardwood flooring from LA Carpet.
When I received the bull nose for the stairs it was badly damaged. I called Ray and he told me to pound sand he would not do any thing for me.
My wife posted a negative review a Unilocal and it has been removed. It looks like LA Carpet pays Unilocal to remove it’s negative reviews.
If this review doesn’t get posted or it is removed I will keep posting reviews on other sites to show they are Being removed from Unilocal.
I just would like LA Carpet to fix the problem.
