My girlfriend and I came for dinner on our anniversary and it was fairly pleasant. After a short while waiting for a server to attend to us, the service was really good throughout. We started off with a drink each… She had a margarita and I had a jack on the rocks. My drink was not very strong and for the price of the drinks at the establishment, I would preferred it to be a little stronger. She only drank a quarter of her drink because she did not like it. For appetizers, we ordered the spring rolls and the ‘Maybe the best ham croquettes’. Let me tell you, they are not far off. The croquetas were exquisite. The spring rolls were not very good. Tasted like the frozen ones that you can buy at the supermarket. Both appetizers were pretty small portions as well. For dinner we both ordered the churrasco with moros and mashed maduro… This did not disappoint. The churrasco was cooked very well and the mashed maduro was delicious. The moro was very good as well. For dessert, we ordered a brownie with ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream and strawberries. It was as good as a brownie dessert can get. The fun part was that you put this brownie dessert together yourself. At the end of it all, the manager came by our table and saw that my girlfriend did not like her drink and comped it off our meal. Boosting my rating up from a 3 to a sturdy 4. Overall, the experience was good. The décor and ambiance is wonderful.

We went for a late lunch. We got a very reasonably priced bottle of wine, they had a good selection. It’s a must to add prosciutto to the pizza. The tuna tacos were not bad, but definitely had way too much cabbage; take some off if you want a good taco. The croquettes were good and we would get again. The charcuterie was awesome and I would have eaten another one if I had room! This place is good. However, this is Miami and there are much better places to spend your time and money. If they moved to West Palm where there is a lack of unique restaurants, the rating would have been four stars!

I loved this place! I went on Friday for my birthday & anniversary with my hubby and we had a great time! It was our first time eating here and I must say, we will be frequent customers. Their house wine is Not only affordable but delicious & does not give you a headache the next day. The food was very presentable, though not my favorite it was still pretty good. I like the fact that you are able to get an appetizer with your entrée. The restaurant is a little pricy, but definitely worth it. The service was amazing, our waiter made sure everything was going well throughout our entire visit. Since we were celebrating, they gave us complimentary champagne & the message in a bottle dessert. I can’t wait to go back! If I can give them a million stars as a rating, I definitely would.

Definitely is a great place! Better than Lolita and Crazy About you. There are two o three things similar in the menu but you can try the Churrasco with mashed Yellow Plantain! And the Marinara Eggs. Also they have happy hour on Sunday! 4:00 — 8:00. The manager always was pending of everything and he was warm with us. I’ll be back!

5÷10÷16 Update: I received a contact regarding my posting. Working to resolve my bad experience, have adjusted my star rating thusly from 1 star up to 4. Pretty restaurant, interesting menu food concepts, wide choices… BUT Terrible Chicken with Julienne Vegetables(vegetables tasted weird, not flavorful), flattened chicken breast was cooked right and moist but had NO flavor! Very strange! Good temp barely warm past room temp. Yuck. Appetizer of «Little bit of heaven»(friend cheese and tomatoe sauce)… Yucky greasy and super rich. Flan was excellent, lol. Of course. Beautifully rich. Might go back!

My husband and I came here for lunch and had a mostly amazing experience. Let me explain… From the second I walked in, I knew I’d love this place. I loved the décor and atmosphere, and we were immediately greeted by very friendly, welcoming women behind the host stand. We were immediately seated in a great spot indoors, where we could enjoy the cute and cozy space. The menu had some amazing options, which made the decision of what to order a little bit tough. The prices were phenomenal — very fair! I was definitely impressed. Our lunches came with 3 choices, sort of as a mini appetizer. I chose the oyster bisque and it was amazing. I would come back here just for that. Oh, how I miss east coast seafood. It was during this time selecting among the choices with our entrée, that this place lost 1 very big star. One of the options was croquettes and my husband asked our waiter what the croquettes were. While most servers would take this question as an opportunity to explain the food, what’s in it(ham, cheese, etc.), if it’s good, if it’s popular, etc… our server bluntly responded«they’re croquettes.» Seriously? It was such a rude, condescending response, especially the tone at which he said it, as if we were so stupid for not knowing about their croquettes. Thanks for the help, buddy. Anyway, the food was very good. The décor and atmosphere were very enjoyable. The women who greeted us both as we arrived and as we left, were wonderful. It was our very unfriendly, grumpy waiter who made the experience less than 5 stars. It definitely makes customers a little uncomfortable to be served by someone in such a foul mood. If we had been waited on by a friendly, personable server, this would have been a 5 star experience.

Great food, great service. Try the Tuna TarTar as the appetizer and the Fillet Mignon for your entrée, if you don’t want to dish out the money for the Fillet Mignon try the Churrasco steak, it’s also great! Also do yourself a favor and order the Strawberry Basil Martini at the bar.

I have been to Love is Blind a few times and disappointingly twice out of the four times I have been there they have ran out of items. Last time we waited almost an hour AFTER the fact of having a reservation on a Saturday night to be told they ran out of Churrasco(which was the item everyone in my party of 6 was wanting to order) and the time before that our waiter DISREGARDED the fact that it was my husband birthday(although I reminded him and it was clearly state in the reservation in addition to the fact that the hostess gave him a written reminder) I had to remind the waiter in front of my husband. needless to say it was a epic birthday FAIL! I am not sure if I will be returning again…

Cute place for a romantic date, the atmosphere is nice and the décor makes for great photo ops. It’s very dark at night, which adds to the atmosphere, but also makes you literally blind during your meal(it gets hard to see at times, especially when you’ve been drinking). Came here for a special occasion: 20-person group birthday dinner. We were seated in a cute nook of a back room, with special kitchen entrance and optional closing doors. My friend chose from their menu and arranged for a set, multi-course meal; we just showed up, had a fun time and paid a set price + our drinks. An easy, no-fuss meal where a group of friends could just enjoy the company and delicious food! The servers were very patient and fast with our orders, especially since they were dealing with such a large(and admittedly rowdy) group. Keep your drinks and shots simple though; I tried ordering some of my favorite shots for the birthday girl, but the bar didn’t know how to make the drinks. It’s not a «party» place, so put your sophisticated hats on, kids. The food was yummy, but execution was off on some dishes. The taste was there, but little things made the food forgettable. Our meal included: «Three Little Pigs» Charcuterie: Mortadella, Salami, Prosciutto and Manchego Cheese. Delicious meat and cheese board, great appetizer. I loved the cheese. «MAYBETHEBESTSERRANOHAMCROQUETTESYOUHAVEEVERTASTED» — The description copy/pasted straight from their menu. ANDITISNOT A LIE! Ground Serrano Ham in a Bechamel Cream Sauce, Fried to Perfection. The croquettes were my favorite appetizer. In Miami, you can get croquettes on every corner, but these are A+ Baby spinach and quinoa salad: Strawberries, Avocado, Queso Fresco in a Toasted Sesame Vinaigrette. My salad had too much dressing, which made the spinach soggy and unappetizing. The strawberries and avocado added a brightness and were very fresh. Our entrees were the short rib and chicken. The short rib was dry. I really wanted to like it, but the meat was very dry and tough. The mashed potatoes lended some moisture, and I ended up eating most of it. The chicken was very tender and moist, with meat falling off the bone. Yummy, but unforgettable. They were served with a mix of veggies noodled and blandly sauteed. My friend is a vegetarian, and she had some zuccini noodles in a red sauce. That was way tastier than the veggie mix the rest of us had, and I did eat a good portion of her veggie plate. We had a caramel flan to end the dinner. Incredibly sweet for such a tiny dessert, but it was a great way to end the meal.

This place is so cute for a date. It’s beautiful inside, very rustic and romantic. The décor and ambiance is just perfect. The hostess is very nice and the place is quite large. I came here for a birthday dinner with a party of 15+ and our server was amazing. Very patient and comodating. We had a set menu so we didn’t get to select individual items. We started with a cheese and cold meats platter. This is a small portion of ham, salami, prosciutto, parmesean and some bread. It was a good starter but we were left craving more. Next was the mini spring rolls. It was delicious! Crispy on the outside and it seems like veggies on the inside. Then breaded cheese stick. It was creamy and wonderful in the center. The quinoa baby spinach strawberry salad was light and a good transition. There wasn’t alot of dressing but the juices from the strawberry slices added a tangy taste. The short rib entrée was a little dry and salty but the mashed potatoes it came on was amazing. The chicken was fall apart tender but also a bit over seasoned. There was also a plate of mixed stir fry veggies. We ended the night on a sweet tooth. The flan there is creamy and sweet but not overbearing. Overall a very good brunch or date place for dinner.

Went there for brunch last Sunday and the food was amazing. The price is the biggest surprise of all at $ 18.99 you get and appetizer and your main course. It was just fantastic. The service was outstanding. I forgot her name but she was from Peru and she really took care of us in a good way. I’ve been there before for dinner and I really liked it but I have to say Brunch was my favorite by far! Highly recommended!!!

I really enjoyed this place. Went out on a Tuesday afternoon with the ladies. Arrived around 7:30 and was very happy to know that happy hour was from 5 til 10 at the bar. We decided to take advantage of it before dinner. We ordered spicy dirty martinis and calamari. Both were excellent. The martinis had spicy olives that were absolutely delicious. We decided to all order something different in order to share. The dishes were Salmon, Tuna and the Chimichuri Steak. For appetizers we had the quinoa salad, spring rolls and the roto Although my first visit here was with ladies/friends I do recommend this place for a perfect date night dinner. It’s décor is simply romantic. They have both inside and outside seating.

Enjoyed brunch on a Sunday at this sweet, trendy spot! They were booked with reservations so I was nervous about not getting a table as a walk in, but they were great about accommodating us. The ambiance was a mixture of vintage meets romance. The wait staff was quick to bring out drinks and take orders. The food was good, but I removed a star because the menu was limited and the portions small. I was still hungry after eating and had to order dessert! For two people the bill came out to about $ 77, which included $ 5 mimosas and coffee. Expensive, but I definitely wouldn’t mind coming back for a date night!

In love with the atmosphere of this place. This is a couples dream date. Everything was perfect from food, atmosphere and server. Ervin was my server he was extremely helpful, friendly and fast. My quinoa strawberry and spinach salad is now my favorite salad of all time. Short rib was cooked to perfection. Portions here are great and every entrée comes with a personal appetizer which I think is great. Prices are reasonable. They were precise with my reservation and I have absolutely no waiting time. I recommend this restaurant 100%. I’ve actually been to all 3 restaurants in the chain and they’re all great!

Came here for dinner with a friend on a weeknight. There weren’t a ton of people but everything about the experience was great! The food is delicious and the service was outstanding. Every entrée comes with an appetizer which makes your tab even more reasonable. We split the charcuterie and huevos rotos. I had the churrasco with moros and Sweet plaintain mash. The meat was cooked perfectly and the plantain mash is excellent as well. The moros wasn’t bad, but I feel the dish would be better served either without the mash, or a different side.

I’ve been to love is blind several times. The décor and ambiance are probably my favorite things here. I love the quotes on the roof and how romantic it feels inside. It’s very artsy. They have awesome wine specials on Wednesdays and I really enjoy their brunch. I have visited during lunch as well as dinner and I have to say that I recommend the brunch. The croquetas de jamon, the huevos rotos and chicken and waffles are very good. I tried the triple decker hangover wrecker and that was pretty good as well. They have 99 cent mimosas before noon and $ 5 ones after. I think that’s a pretty good deal. Brunch includes and entrée and an appetizer for a set price. So you can’t really go wrong. Great happy hour place!!!

This place is a mix between modern and classic, the atmosphere is fantastic, also service is high class and food taste good. I would say having better wine glasses and decanters are very important for a place with a descent wine list.

This was the last out of the three sister restaurants that I visited. One of my best friends had a private party here for her birthday. Ambiance: Also very romantic concept like its sisters Crazy About You, & Lolitas. Food: It was a pre-fixe menu, which included 2 apps, 2 entrees, and a dessert, plus my best friend brought a birthday cake. I was pretty much stuffed by the end of the meal & I enjoyed everything I had. Service. Our server was friendly & funny and the whole staff took care of us since it was a large group of 20 of us. I love all these restaurants & would deff recommend for everyone to try at least one of them.

Having a dog-friendly hostess will always get an extra star from me(oh and there’s dog friendly terrace seating too, for future reference!) I haven’t socialized around the Gables in a while, so when I found myself for an extended amount of time in the Merrick Park area while my car was with the Best Mechanic Ever(see my review: ) I used my Unilocal Mobile app and found my way to Love is Blind. Walking in just before they officially opened, the hostess allowed me to sit inside early and start off with their crispy, crumbly bread with balsamic vinegar and a glass of water. Ninety-Nine cent very loaded Mimosas before noon. Tell me that’s not a reason to go early to brunch! I do mean loaded, not the watered down mess other restaurants try to pass off as mimosas. As I’ve said before, I judge brunch places on their Eggs Benedict and L.I.B. didn’t disappoint. Served all modern like in a skillet with an order of spicy patatas brava, the short ribs had delicious hints of sweet. They contrasted nicely with the warm, meaty serrano ham croquetas that came complementary with my entrée. Heck, I even left room for their nutella pizza. Do I really need to elaborate about a thin crust pizza with nutella spread and fruits? Buen provecho, you’re welcome!

E resolvemos checar.

Wonderful experience at this place! My husband picked this place for dinner, and let me tell you it was a great choice! The décor is very beautiful and romantic, it is a perfect place for couples. We first sat at the bar, had some drinks and got the charcuterie plate as an appetizer, it was very good. Once at our table, I ordered the seared tuna, it was delicious, I enjoyed every piece of it. My husband had the sea bass, it was cooked so well that it would just melt in your mouth, we both loved it! The service was friendly and attentive all dinner long. We will be back!
