History

Established in 2006.

Right Choice started as a favor to a neighbor where Jeff Adkinson decided to paint the house himself. Several people stopped by the project and Jeff ended up with six jobs on the same street. He never intended for it to be a business, but since people started calling for his services, Adkinson registered the business. Now, after over 7 years in business, this award winning company has been recognized as the North TX Small Business Champion by the Governor of Texas and Texas Workforce Commission and the Business of the Year from the Coppell Chamber of Commerce. Right Choice has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, Super Service Awards through Angie’s List and Reader’s Choice Awards in multiple categories.

Meet the Business Owner

Jeff A.

Business Owner

The son of a military family, Jeff was born in Schwabach, Germany. He began working in the coatings industry at age 16 working at a paint store while attending high school in Colorado. After a stint in the United States Navy, he took a sales position with Sherwin Williams. He was promoted & moved to the corporate regional office in California. Working there for nearly 10 years he was promoted to Commercial Store Manager, Division Sales Manager & Wholesale Marketing Director. In 1991, he moved to TX taking a position with Kelly Moore Paint Co as a District Sales Manager. A visionary executive with many successful achievements in the paint & coatings industries, Jeff branched out taking an Executive position with a construction company in Dallas. For 12 years, he worked all over the US doing large commercial painting, carpentry, roofing & renovation projects. His construction career took him to some remote destinations most recently in the coastal region devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
