I spoke with Aaron this evening (Sunday — 8÷30÷15), and even on a day they were not officially open for business, he took the time (almost 30 minutes) to go over how they work and the type of work they do. The only term I can think of to describe our conversation is: impressed!
I will update my review one the work is completed.

In searching for a contractor to remodel our bathroom, I came across Texas Remodelers and Builders in the «Best Picks Reports» book in our local area. We spoke with John and due to his knowledge and expertise, as well as the affordable pricing, we decided to have them to complete the work. We were beyond satisfied with the overall results. The quality of work was impeccable. During the process the lines of communication were always open and the crew cleaned up when they were done for the day. They finished the job early and on budget which was an added bonus. I would highly recommend Texas Remodelers and Builders and we will be using them in the near future for additional projects. Keep up the good work!

Aaron Dowdy and his crew are some of the most professional and knowledgeable builders we’ve had the pleasure of working with. This is our sixth house to live in in 8 years and the third that Texas Remodelers & Builders has helped us to expand or update. A remodel can be very stressful, especially with two small children, a teenager and two dogs, but somehow my husband and I find our experience with Aaron to be enjoyable… well, as enjoyable as can possibly be expected :) We explain what we want and Aaron makes it happen. We are delighted!

John Hamby and his crews did a great job on my kitchen and master bath upgrade. John was honest and up front about everything and gave a very competitive bid. Jim did an amazing job on the travertine tile shower and kitchen backspalsh. The frameless glass shower was also extremely nice. It took me some time to get the granite selections for the kitchen because I am picky. He never rushed me or put me on a timeline. The crews cleaned up daily and was just a great overall experience. I have more updating to do upstairs and plan to use TRBCO for that at a later time.

John Hamby and his crew just added a new closet to our home, subdividing our master bedroom and constructing a 10′ x 10′ room with custom shelving. They did a remarkable job. John is a good communicator, a good advisor, a fair businessman. We could not be happier with the finished product or the process, including their cleanliness throughout construction.

John Hamby and his group are a class act. My company was in need of some extra help getting our restaurant open and he stepped in a provided some extremely skilled labor at the last minute. John is a guy you can trust, he has been in the business for years and is very dependable. If you’re looking for a builder for new construction or a small remodel, John is your guy!

We had significant damage in this area from all the storms. So my neighbors and I all did a little research. So Happy we went with John and his crew (s). He is beyond professional and helped me to understand line by line on the breakdown form what amount goes to what repair, from my Insurance Claim. The State Farm Adj did not care to help me. Some of the guys came out and walked the property and went over everything with STF and then scheduled me to get everything done within 2 weeks of my claim. I highly suggest you do the same… that way everyone is on the same page as far as payments. My roof, and gutters look fabulous. They were able to schedule me for some extra work I needed done while they were here, at my request, Insulation and also do some interior work from water damage. This is truely a One-​Stop-​Shop. I needed some help understanding different crews are for different jobs John asked me my schedule and when they could come out to take care of what needed to be done. They were always on time and cleaned up after themselves. They also respected my no shoe policy in my house. Anytime I had a question or concern I immediately had a response. I did have to have the dish people out and reset our dish for the satellite. That was at no cost… so no worries there. Just note incase your husband is addicted to sports and it is the MAVS Playoffs… he needs Satellite LOLOL. Very happy with all the work and the professionalism of this company. I was also happy to put my $ into a local company.
