High Priority Plumbing and Services

Don’t use them!!! I got assigned them from AHS. Not only does he clearly not want to work, but said we had to get it remediated first. We did so. Now I can’t get my ceiling fixed because he didn’t make the «access» hole. Sure, he would have had to cut the same hole to fix the leak but he didn’t do it. Just lazy. Especially since it wasn’t even Mold!!! NEVER AGAIN. So I hope both AHS and High Priority sees this. AHS is also loosing a customer. STAY AWAY!!!

My expensive home warranty company (AHS) assigned Derek from HIGH PRIORITY PLUMBING & SERVICES INC to fix a simple copper pipe issue. He arrived 1.5 hours late, very disrespectful attitude to both myself and my wife, and proceeded to find ways to not work on the job. He only stayed inside 2 minutes then sat in his truck for 30 minutes with AHS to get out of the job. Derek came back in and proceeded to tell me my claim was denied, and I needed to talk to the home warranty. Zero effort to diagnose the problem and apparent he just wanted to go home. He came back with a $ 650 quote to fix a minor copper pipe. Very dishonest, rude, and would NEVER ask them to do work. If AHS does send Derek out. send home home.

Issued a plumbing request under our home warranty through American Home Shield. The plumber showed up 3 hours late and did not hesitate to take our initial $ 75.00 deposit he than proceeded to quote us $ 450.00 for the repair which he indicated was not covered. The plumber stated «Plumbing issues are never covered under the home warranty». I found this to be a bit odd as plumbing is part of a home and is listed as a warranty item in our contract. Ultimately, it was clear the plumber was out there to collect the $ 75 and be on his way.

*****DO NOT USE THEM** I used this company in 2012 & it was a complete rip off. I was referred through AHS, my home warranty co & have since cancelled them partly do to this expensive experience. Not only did they over charge me & take advantage of me at a very vulnerable time. they subcontracted out parts of the job & NEVER got my concrete in the driveway or landscape back right. After paying $ 4k for a SHOTY job I felt the least hey could do was make that right. I called them back out several times & spoke to the so called MGR/​Owner type whom I recall as not being customer service friendly or effective. I cringe when I see there vans here in town.

Another sub-​mediocre company sent out by American Home Shield. I’m now cancelling my service with AHS so that I don’t have to deal with more companies like this that do sub par work.
We ordered a plumber who came out and did the minimum amount of work and didn’t fix the leak. I might think this was a fluke if not for all the other bad companies like High Priority Plumbing that AHS has sent out before.
If there’s a home warranty company who deals with good contractors I’d like to know.

This company plumbers upsale you on flood masters which is a completely incompetent restoration company.

Like a lot of other people, I was referred to High Priority as part of American Home Shield. I had read my entire contract in advance and had a pretty good idea of what was covered and what wasn’t, however it was my first time using any such Warranty. Scheduling was a breeze, and much to my surprise Cory called and arrived in the first half hour of my appointment window… that just doesn’t happen in Atlanta. He was very helpful in helping me navigate the ins and outs of the Warranty, and was able to get the repair approved by AHS and completed within two hours. Overall it was a great experience, and made me feel a ton better about the investment I had made in a home warranty, however I would use High Priority again with our without it.

I will not be using the services from High Priority Plumbing again. I called my home warranty about 2 plumbing issues (leaking faucet and running toilet) and they sent a plumber out. The plumber did not fix anything, and then charged me the $ 75 service fee. He told me he found nothing wrong with the toilet and that it is normal for the faucet to leak up to 48 hours after you shower.
Naturally, I was frustrated. I called the company back and told them to please send a different plumber out to fix the problems. They sent a different plumber out and he fixed the toilet and told me he would be back to fix the faucet the next week, after I could notify my HOA that the water had to be shut off for my building. I was very pleased with his service and kindness.
Well, I assumed this second plumber would have come back to fix the leaky faucet… but they sent the first guy back. He was rude and unprofessional when he arrived and told me that he couldn’t shut the water off unless a maintenance man was there.
So we rescheduled AGAIN, and I called High priority twice to make sure the plumber that was coming out next time was the second one, not the rude guy. Well, of course, they sent the rude one back. I was very frustrated with this and will use different plumbing services next time.
The second star is because, at least they arrived on time.

I had this company come out with my home warranty, AHS. I had an inspector report a leak under the kitchen sink and also I needed a vent trap installed.
The guy came out, I told him I had run the water in the sink and couldn’t reproduce the leak, he said «there is no leak here». Did not run the water. I took him at his word because I am not a plumber. He then inspected for the trap (even went into the crawlspace) and told me he would contact me with an estimate, that since there was no trap AHS would not pay, the estimate was somewhere between 225 and 425.00. I paid my 100.00 service charge to AHS.
No call back, 4 days later I call a plumbing company I have relied on for years for my personal home and 4 rental properties, Michaels Plumbing, guy comes out to give me an estimate to install a trap under the kitchen sink. Lo and Behold, we already have a trap installed in the crawlspace — he took pictures of it and showed it to me. How did Priority Plumbing miss that? I asked him to double check the leak under the sink — he runs the water in both sides and there is the leak, needed a washer, fixed in 3 min. I paid him 125.00 for his time. I would have had to pay him a trip charge anyway. Why would I pay him the 70.00 trip charge and then call AHS to send another company out to fix the leak ?
I do not have even 1.00 to spare, much less 100.00
Called priority plumbing and told them their plumber misdiagnosed the problem under the sink — they will not refund the AHS service charge. I call AHS to see if I can get the 100.00 service charge, they will not. They told me I should have switched vendors. WHAT ?
do not use this company. I told AHS to take high priority plumbing off the list for any of my service calls. As a former business owner this is no way to do business.
****since posting this review on Unilocal I received a call from the marketing manager of High Priority Plumbing. She was very sincere, apologetic, and refunded the 100.00 charge.*********

Called this company after a recommendation from a friend to fix a leaking jetted tub. Sent pictures of problem and detailed instructions of the leak — specifically asked them if they worked on leaking HOSES in a jetted tub — after reviewing the pictures, they confirmed they could fix — I scheduled an appointment, paid the $ 49 service call — Tenants advised the next day that technician advised them that he could not fix — I was told I would receive an email receipt for the $ 49 — I haven’t received. I was told when paying the $ 49 the technician would notify me of findings — neither happened. I had to call 2 times and then was told that they didn’t work on jetted tube hoses? What the heck? I feel ripped off because they had pictures and details of the problem — if they were unsure if they could fix I should have been advised before I scheduled them to come. I will place this review on every outlet available so please will know what to watch out for when calling this company in Conyers

Thus far I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with this company… which is a lot more than I can say about the other company my home warranty company sent out to my house. I have used High Priority through my home warranty multiple times now and they have always called me on time, have always been honest, have always worked with me to fix the issue within my coverage, and have always actually fixed the issue. That is way more than I can say about the other plumbing contractors I have dealt with in Atlanta thus far.

We could not have had a worse experience with High Priority Plumbing. My brother scheduled a time between 3−6pm for a plumber to come look at a leaky shower on the second floor that was causing major damage to the ceiling. At 12:47 we got a call from the plumber saying he would be early and would he be able to come at 1:30. We were at lunch half an hour away but agreed to meet at 2pm. We got back to the house at 1:30 and spent the afternoon waiting. At 4pm we called the plumber asking when he might be arriving as we had been waiting for two hours at that point. He told us that he had been waiting in his car from 2pm onwards and left at 3:15pm. We received no phone call, heard no knocks on the door (and there were three of us in the house with no television, no music or loud noises).
The plumbing service had GPS saying he was here, he left a magnet but at no point did he call or knock in anyway that we heard. We were subsequently unable to find anyway to reschedule with this plumber, have a new one dispatched and were forced to call the house warranty company to find another plumbing service entirely.
Now I was out of town visiting from NYC, we canceled out our afternoon plans to wait, had to make new plans for another plumber to come the next day and suffered substantial unnecessary damage. Avoid them at all costs. What kind of plumber waits without trying to get in contact with his client? He had our number as he called to try to come earlier. Why just sit outside? Something fishy was clearly afoot.

Avoid these people at all costs! They specialize In Warranty referrals where the customer is at a disadvantage. The women that answer the phone are extremely bitchy and have plenty of excuses but no idea of what customer service is or how to help get things done.
They are experts of why they can not do things. Call someone else or ask your warranty service company to assign someone else.

Went through them for help with a toilet issue. Eric came out and spoke to be me like a real person and not some blank check. Worked out everything with my home warranty. Even gave me some good advise on the water damage in the bathroom. Will be calling them again.

Don’t do it!!! These are the most unprofessional people I have ever «NOT» received service from. This plumbing company is one that AHS uses for their warranty contracts. If you have a home warranty service make sure you specify that you do not want to work with HIGH PRIORITY PLUMBING. The dispatchers don’t do their jobs of even scheduling the service calls. Try sitting waiting for a plumber with a 4 hour window that does not show up. Then try calling them to complain while they accuse you of lying about making the appointment because you can’t remember who you spoke with. OK Right, so I have the number, the date and the time I made the call in my phone just because AHS gave me the number for a company they knew would not show up, and I wanted to call them because I want a new car. That does not make sense either. No one takes time out of work to sit and wait for a service call that is scheduled with a 4 hour window just for them NOT to show up. The admin staff is rude and would rather argue than treat you like a customer, that they would want to accommodate, receive repeat business from or a referral. The only other review about the admin staff, that glorifies them was obviously written by someone at the company; no Really!!! The name on the Review is High Priority Plumbing and Services. NOT worth the aggravation or the expense, there are a million other plumbers that would appreciate you as a customer. Call someone else. If I did not have to leave at least 1 star, to WARN others I would not have even given them that one. When consumers recognize that reviews are valuable they could save themselves a lot of aggravation and expense. I am learning to depend on them. I wish I had seen the ones here.

This business is horrible. I have had to use them on a couple of different occasions through our home warranty company. We had no choice in the matter. The first time was for a water heater problem and it took 4 different trips by different employees until someone tightened a screw to finally fix the problem. Now, I am waiting for them to come and replace my kitchen faucet. While the plumber that initially came out was knowledgeable, I have been waiting 3 weeks to get them to come back and actually fix the problem. No one called to schedule an appointment, I had to make 2 calls to get that done. Today I finally got my appointment between 10 and 1 and it is now 1:30 and have yet to hear from anyone. I called the office and the lady said that the guy got behind on his first call and should be here shortly. Right. I am so sick of dealing with this company. If you have a choice, don’t use them.

Very difficult company to work with. Scheduling is a nightmare. There are much better choices out there.

High Priority Plumbing was sent out to our house as part of our home warranty contract with AHS. The problem was not covered by the warranty so the company gave us a quote for them to make the repair (a leaking water main line between the street and the house). This was for an ACTIVE leak to the house that had caused our water bill to be almost $ 700. The tech said they could make the repair ASAP, he quoted us a reasonable price, and they even had a coupon for this exact type of work on their website.
My husband and I then spent the next TWO WEEKS calling the company every single day trying to schedule them to come out to make the repair. Every day they gave us the runaround and promised to call us back to schedule. We never once received a return call (it has now been over 3 weeks). The last time I called them the lady said they weren’t sure if they could even do this type of work. If that is the case, WHY did they give us a quote for it, WHY is there a coupon for this type of work on their website, and WHY didn’t they tell us this immediately rather than over TWO WEEKS after they gave us the quote, during which time we have an ongoing active leak costing us money and causing secondary damage?
The people I spoke with on the phone (daily) were very nice, but this type of customer service is absolutely absurd. We never once got a phone call from them. We called them every single day trying to schedule this work, and I’m not talking about a small repair, this was going to cost us almost $ 2000, you would think they would want our business. Apparently not. I will never ever do business with High Priority again. I have made American Home Shield aware of the problem and asked them to drop them from their list of vendors. The complete lack of professionalism is astounding.
