Fast and friendly but the quality of donuts is u like other venues. The glazed donuts are super thick … Not as crispy as others and that’s due to the heavier glaze they use. I find myself always always having to clean the glaze off myself when they are hot and when the glaze has settled, I have to scrape it off. Too much glaze.
Expect cold donuts at 7:00. «That’s all we have».

For some reason the donuts are not as «crispy» as they should be like the blueberry cake and cinnamon cake. I’m not sure if it’s just today but seems a little inconsistent from other Shipley’s. The staff is really nice and love their attitude. Their sign says help wanted so I’m sure it may have something to do with staffing and having to make a lot of donuts with such a lean crew. ill be back another day to see if anything has changed.

I visit this shop often as it is on my way to work (I have a long drive and often need a snack).
Most donut shops I go to it seems like the staff are going through the motions but I love the staff at this shop. They give me a warm greeting everytime, they even remember me and share a few kind words before I take off for my day!
I have also noticed that the donuts here are always as fresh as possible and that the manager is very much a stickler for quality, it’s nice to see someone care about their craft.
I definitely recommend the fresh hot glazed donut if you can make it there early enough. It’s like eating a cloud!
I give a high recommendation for this donut shop.
