when it comes to vietnamese food… i’d steer clear of this place. Maybe a good experience for some of you but not for me. 1. my chicken was UNDERCOOKED and FULL of sodium all i taste was salt and I’m pregnant. I stopped eating immediately as I saw the chicken. I should have complained but what is the point I will not return here again ever, BUT I did feel the need to warn you fellow Unilocalers in case you are considering on coming here to be careful of what you order. 2. tofu appetizer, save yourself 6 dollars and do not order this dish, you will regret it, every bit of it. tofu was literally the size of a quarter approx. 10 pieces or so served over a bed of lettuce and drenched in this weird butter sauce — menu said it was suppose to be salt and pepper dry tofu. I don’t know what the heck was concocted but if you end up ordering this… then i’m sorry for you because you didn’t learn from my mistake. 3. Hubby ordered Beef stew noodle — looked good but he said it wasn’t good — i wouldn’t know i didn’t bother to taste it after i had the apps. 4. Summer rolls were ok, filled with tons of noodles not enough meat to counter. all in all — not the experience i hoped for, would not have bothered to leave a review. if it wasn’t for the undercooked chicken and the fact that i’m pregnant. If i or my baby get sick there will be issues.

I used to eat at this place all the time when I lived in the Woodlands 2 years ago. It has went down hill from there. The first time I went in two weeks ago the forgot to bring our Phở out, we ended up leaving because we had already waited 15 min. The second and last time I went there, the servers while very nice are not attentive. It took way too long to bring Phở out, the basil was wilted and had black spots all on it, and the brisket was very tuff. I give it two stars only because the bowls are very big and the crab puffs were tasty.

A 3 for the food and 0 for the tea. I got a Thai tea with tapioca and the tea tasted straight up like a cigarette. Actually, a cigarette prolly tastes better. But hey, to each his own.

In the past six months this place has gone WAY downhill. First, I’ve noticed my favorite waiter Max has been let go– a real shame because he has always given excellent service from my experience. They food is decent still– not as delicious as I remember but still good, but their drinks SUCK now. I go to class right across the street, so I come in at least once a week for either boba tea of Vietnamese iced coffee. Nowadays, the boba is a warm syrupy mess at the bottom of my drink and doesn’t even mix all the way with my drink. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee I had yesterday sealed the deal that I will not be coming back– Firstly, my coffee wasn’t even iced. It was room temp at best, maybe even a little warm. Second, it’s was watered down and DISGUSTING! And third, there was gritty pieces of unfiltered espresso floating around my drink. It wasn’t sweet and syrupy like usual Vietnamese Iced Coffee(usually the sweetest condensed milk mixed with black black black espresso, giving first a very super sweet taste followed by a bitter aftertaste) so I was extremely disappointed at what tasted like a Vietnamese Iced Coffee left to sit on a counter for hours– when it was only just made! On top of now mediocre drinks, the service has fallen way past mediocre. My recent experiences I have felt awkward, uncomfortable and judged– and I have been a regular for nearly two years! Very disappointing how this place has gone.

This place is great. The food is super authentic and no frills. Best phở that I’ve had so far! However, the service could be better.

I love this place! The banh mis are really good, and super cheap! 3.50 to 4.00, i think, for one banh mi and they’re very filling. The boba tea is pretty good too. This is definitely one of my new favorite places to frequent!

Vietnamese sandwiches and bubble tea was pretty good. Lemon cream bubble tea tasted similar to Chick-fil-a’s lemonade.

First time customer experience, and probably last. Staff seems friendly enough. Not the best bahn mi sandwich I have had. Asked for no mayo on sandwiches and when I arrived home, all of our sandwiches had mayo all over it, and once it is on, the presence of mayo can’t be removed. More care should be taken on «to go» orders — the customer is stuck getting what they didn’t order. Pineapple juice drink was good, however.

The food was okay, but the drinks were very underwhelming and artificial-tasting, if you want good boba go to Louetta or the bubble tea place in the next shopping center. Service is slow as well. I used to like this place a lot, don’t know what happened in the past 2 years.

The only thing that I can recommend is that the servers are nice. Other than that, It takes an incredible amount of time to receive the simplest of orders, even when they have barely anyone in the restaurant. There wasn’t much meat in any dish, rolls, phở, or rice dishes, and there was little flavor to speak of at all in any of the dishes that we tried. Hell, the lemonade had little lemon flavor and the station for blending and making teas is ridiculously too loud to place inside a restaurant. Avoid this place and wait to go to Houston to get real Banh Mi and Phở.

One of the only authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the Woodlands. The best thing about this restaurant is the service. I called for take out and ordered a seafood phở. As soon as I arrived, the wait staff welcomed me with a friendly smile. They greeted me and 2 of the waitstaff asked me if I’d like something to drink as I waited for my phở. Excellent service from the minute I walked in to the time I left. The phở was delicious. Broth was fishy and delicious. They provided plenty of veggies and seafood to go with it. The only thing I would change is using thinner rice noodles. The phở was a bit higher in price than other Vietnamese restaurants, but that’s typical in the Woodlands. Overall, great food and great service.

Tried their fresh veg spring roll the first time. Pretty decent. Also tried their bubble tea. Tasted good, plus they have an extensive range of flavors to choose from. Impressed with their first experience, I ordered a couple of to go dishes. Stir fried veggies with fried tofu and vegetable phở. The fried tofu, i can bet was fried in some stale animal fat — being a vegetarian, i can vouch for the flavors. That spoilt the flavor of the entire dishes. Not going back there except for bubble tea, and maybe fresh spring roll.

Fantastic phở definitely had the best phở in the woodlands. I come here pretty often, especially if I don’t feel like driving to South Houston for Phở Binh Trailer. Every time I come I always get the same thing, steak phở with extra noodles. Their broth is absolutely delicious. Sweet, flavorful, I get a hint of ginger… very yummy. I have tried many other items on their menu, vermicelli which was good considering I’m not a huge fan of such, and Kat su don(sp) absolutely delicious, but nothing quite compares to the warmth and tender flavor of phở. Their boba tea is not my favorite and the overall décor of the store is pretty uninviting-I believe a lot of this has to do with the color scheme. The staff is always very fast, sweet, and smiling. This is my number one choice for phở in the woodlands.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times, but my regular visits ended in a particularly unpleasant visit. The few times I went there the Bahn Mi was delicious, but, then again, I’ve never tried any other Bahn Mi, and I’ve nothing else to compare Fantastic Phở’s Bahn Mi. Unfortunately, they only had three or four types of sandwiches that seemed worth trying. The only one that I really liked was the steak. The rest were either not nearly as good or just disgusting even before tasting them. The drinks were nothing special. Some were very, very far from special. The smoothies are just powder and syrup. And the juices… There are only two fresh-squeezed juices. The milk tea is very basic, and the Thai tea is the same Thai tea you can get anywhere… The service is okay, but I’ve never heard a «Welcome!» or a «How are you doing?» from any of the servers. And they have a way of avoiding answering questions… Now on to the horrific end to my weekly stops to this establishment. Just like any other day, I ordered a sandwich and a drink. They were out of meatballs for the meatball Bahn Mi and made it very clear through the tone of voice that they would not make more anytime soon. So I reluctantly ordered the cured ham and pork roll sandwich; I wasn’t eager to get forms of pigs that I hadn’t heard of, but at the same time I wanted to try something new. I went to Walgreens and discovered a strange spongey substance that looked like it could be a form of processed meat, and I was disgusted. I went back and said that I really disliked the sandwich. I ordered the steak sandwich, which I knew I liked. Expecting to get the sandwich for free, I waited for my sandwich to be ready. Then the server said, «Your total will be five dollars and…» Do note that I’ve seen some of the most expensive restaurants replace meals that customers disliked for free; one example is P.F. Changs. And they wouldn’t give me a five dollar sandwich. If you want drinks that are far better than Fantastic Phở’s(including delicious and unique Thai tea, milk tea, and smoothies with tapioca(or without…)) go to Drinkabili Tea, which is in the shopping center directly across the street that leads to TWCPHS. They also have some unique(but not exotic) food that everyone should try.

As good a phó as I’ve had anywhere and I’ve had it all over the world. Clean, bright, happy people and great service. Huge assortment of bubble teas, shakes & tea drinks.

Clean place. This place is right across from my school so i am going to start hitting it up more often. I got the calamari as an appetizer. Wasnt great but it is not something to complain about. The phở bowl was humongous. I got a medium and it filled me up. My friend got a large and could not finish. The broth was basic and slightly underdeveloped. I also got a tapioca thai tea which was very satisfying. The restrooms are very clean.

It was a rainy day and a big giant chicken and noodle Phở bowl was calling me. I found this place just by driving by so I stopped in. To my amazement a large dining room greeted me so I was hoping the food would be good enough to bring me back for another visit. I got my order to go and the service was very friendly. I ordered a sweet hot green tea while I waited and it was perfect-not too bitter or overly steeped. So I recommend you come in if you’re in a need for a perfect cup of tea. Our noodle bowls were HUGE! You can share one for sure. Some spring rolls were also on the order and they were okay. The chicken satay was a bit dry. I was hoping for more veggies in the bowls but nonetheless it satisfied my need for a cozy bowl of soup. I do plan on coming back and trying more items.

Actually, I have been to this shop on several occasions, and previously. Thought it adequate to good, with pretty good waitstaff. However I went in on a damp chilly afternoon recently and was sorely disappointed. Had I not had ok to good experiences previously, I would have known to simply turn around and walk out. Many to most of the tables in the place were cluttered and left with used dishes. There was no worker in the front of house. I waited and I waited and instead of seating myself, stood at the counter hoping to catch someone’s attention. No one even walked past the kitchen door. Eventually a very young looking male came strolling out, counting his money in his hands. I asked if there was someone available. I also mentioned that most tables were dirty. I was looking for a place to sit. He said they had just had… unintelligible… And that I could sit««over there». I told him I did not want to sit«over there».(the hard chairs hurt my back so that I am unable to sit more than maybe 5 minutes and leave lasting pain) I found a booth and seated myself. For the rest of my visit, the young man, who was then my waiter, kept referring to me as «Madam». Madam, Madam, Madam, Madam… it felt like he was intending it in a rude way, not an attempt to be polite at all. I really do not wish to repeat this experience. There is a different young man, looks a little older than the offending waiter, who is MUCHBETTER. The better waiter always has his hair clipped closely on the sides and a tiny ponytail on top. I will only go into this restaurant if this young man is running front of house in future. He always has things under control, clean, orderly, and just the right sort of customer service and politeness.

Not bad for The Woodlands The price for Phở is a bit high($ 9 for a large bowl) but I guess it is The Woodlands. It’s pretty good, better than some places in the city so beggars can’t be choosers I guess. The food took a long time to get to us but service was friendly and the food was cooked well.
