If you’re searching for a a top dentist your search is over. If you can get in that is. When I moved here 30 years ago someone in Human Resources recommended him. He was my 2^nd dentist I ever had and had no idea how good I’ve had it with dentists till my insurance changed and had to shop around. I could go on and on. The staff is long term– good sign. They are very professional and nice. Dr. Becker not only does excellent work but you feel like you are in good hands. I’m sure he doesnt need any new reviews for his business. But for someone that is looking for a good dentist he is tops. Oh and I’ll add that my uncle and mother, who never listens to me took my recommendation to see him and love him. Uncle says hes the best dentist he’s ever had and when they moved to San Ramon kept coming back and when the moved to Reno they still kept coming back. I’m sorry my not so good ins. now doesnt work there, but when I’ve had to be seen elsewhere and want a 2^nd opinion I’ll pay out of pocket for Dr. B and have him do the work too.

Thank you Dr. Becker! I broke a tooth at lunch today, a Friday. The office gals worked me into the schedule and they got me fixed up for the weekend. Always professional and kind.

I’ve been going to Dr. Becker for about 10 years now and I couldn’t be happier. I moved to San Francisco over 2 years ago and still drive all the way to Clayton to see him. It is rare to find a dentist that you can trust these days.
For example: I bought a teeth bleaching several years back and it came with a free consultation/​cleaning so I got it. The shady dentist told me I had three cavities that he would be happy to fill for me. I had never had a cavity in my life so I went to see Dr Becker for a second opinion. I had NO cavities. That guy was a swindler and Dr. Becker saved me money and unnecessary dental work. Very trustworthy.
That’s why I will continue to drive over an hour to see him.

Dr Michael Becker and Dr Cynthia Tuttle are the personification of what great dental care is all about. I have been seeing Dr Becker since the 1980’s. He and Dr Tuttle are very through, concerned about pain, and caring.
My two sons and I have never had a cavity and that can be directly attributed to the dental exams we have had over the years. They were very particularly helpful during the time we all had orthodontic work performed and had many good suggestions and worked with the orthodontists very effectively. Over the years, their referrals for oral surgery for my wife and also my mother had very good results.
They have a very competent, conscientious staff that is very effective dealing with insurance and scheduling issues. His hygienists are very friendly, professional, and above all work very well with the Doctors.
We have been very fortunate to have been associated with their practice and would recommend Drs Becker and Tuttle wholeheartedly.

I love Dr. Becker! My boss referred me to him years ago, and he is just the nicest guy and such a good dentist. We got some insurance about 5 years ago that his office didn’t take, so I had to go to another dentist (LAME). But I am back, and for good. He is funny and gentle and makes the whole experience not as awful as it can be. Also, the other dentist that he shares the practice with is Dr. Tuttle and she is also awesome! They are totally worth the drive out there. Everyone at the office is really nice too. I really can’t recommend this place enough — best dentists ever.

Love, Love, Love Dr. Becker. He is my childhood dentist (let’s just say approximately 25+ years). He has seen me through my teenage years to present. I trust him explicitly. He is conservative in his dental procedures – only does things if absolutely necessary. I have to travel 30 minutes to see him, but it’s totally worth it. My children now come here too. His 2 hygienists are the friendliest around! Can’t recommend him enough. Give him a try – you’ll never leave. Growing up, my uncle was my dentist. However, as an adult I don’t have that luxury, as we live in different cities. A few years back, I didn’t have a local dentist, and woke up with a dental emergency. I cracked a tooth in half, and needed it attended to right away. I called my uncle and asked if he knew of anyone good in the area, and he said no, no I don’t. Then something must have triggered in his memory, «Wait, I do know someone! My roommate in dental school! But I think he is in Concord.» At the time I was working in Walnut Creek, and Dr. Becker was just a 10 min drive away from the office. It was perfect. I no longer work in Walnut Creek, but would happily drive from Oakland to his office to see him. His staff is friendly, and the hygenists are professional and thorough. All around a wonderful dental experience. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist.
