Jerry P.

Business Owner

Dr. Pope received his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and was a Public Health Microbiologist in Los Angeles. He, then, married and moved to Chicago and went to Loyola University School of Dentistry for four years. He was among the top ten of his graduating class and was installed as a member of OKU (the Phi Beta Kappa of dentistry). He also received the orthodontic award for excellence in his class. After graduation he served in the US Navy at Treasure Island Naval Base and was the Endodontist in the Naval Dental Clinic.

Dr. Pope settled in the bay area and has three grown children and six grandchildren. He is a member of the Contra Costa Dental Society and was on the dental society board of directors and Chairman of the Dental Ethics Committee for several years.

Dr. Pope took early retirement from his busy practice in Walnut Creek and then realized that he preferred dentistry to golf and working in his wood shop.
