Worst scam ever. I should have read what Christian M. said. Same deal — I got a coupon for their service. When they came, I wasn’t here, and these guys strong armed my wife. Refused to clean, unless she paid them an extra $ 150. Since she didn’t know what was happening, she paid them. And this was $ 150 for a TINY area — less than a total of 500 square feet.
Well — one week later, all of the spots were back. Right back. So I called them up and asked then to come back and fix the deal. «John» (not his real name, I’m sure) made up something about «if I had called within a week, they would have came back, but since I called after a week they weren’t coming back. Guess what? They returned a call before they knew what I wanted — then once they found out … no more return calls. No return emails.
Read their website: «No hidden fees or additional charges — our price includes treating for spots and moving furniture.» Bullshit. They will scam you, rip you off, and do a bad job to boot. Can you say «Bait and Switch?» Never, ever get near these guys.
You can look up the owner’s name and address in the Contra Costa County Fictitious business name records, and you’ll find the same address that is given above on the Unilocal listing. The owner is listed as «AKHUNOV ILDAR» if you want to sue in small claims court.

DON’T HIRE THIS COMPANY! I contracted a carpet cleaning company based on an ad that I found on Living Social. They were called USA Carpet Cleaning. When the technician showed up at my house he was from Carpet Green Clean. What’s up with that?
I knew something was wrong right away when he asked to use my hot water heater. What?! Apparently his machinery was not built to create actual hot water or steam on it’s own, so he had to fill his tank with hot water from my bathtub. Then he told me that the price was different for deep cleaning and was definitely NOT what was quoted in the original ad. Instead of $ 44 I was charged $ 124, and he didn’t even do the job correctly. His cleaner left everything dirty and wet.
I photographed the stains and reported the crappy job to USA Carpet Cleaning. They subcontracted the work but instead of refunding my money, or sending a different technician they insisted that the same technician would need to re-​clean my carpets. I made it clear to them that I would NOT welcome the same technician with his inadequate equipment anywhere near my carpets again.
One thing got really steamed that day… and it wasn’t my rugs.

MAJOR SCAM. I purchased a deal ($ 45 for a $ 165 value) on AMAZON and it was to clean 4 rooms and a hallway even though the house is quite small fyi. Unfortunately i wasn’t there when these guys (all russians) came over and did the job so i had instructed my roommate what the deal was.
Long story short, these guys insisted, argued, and strong armed my roommate to shell out an ADDITIONAL $ 200 for a special deep cleaning service which was NOT part of the deal. They gave some excuse that it was a «requirement» to do deep cleaning and not the basic even what we paid for was the basic.
I called them up the next day upon hearing what happened and instead of appeasing the situation, they just kept arguing with me that i shouldve been there and thats what i get. I was like seriously? The carpet was not thick at all and we didnt need that deep cleaning crap they persisted on. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. They will try to cheat you with some bs «requirements.»

Total rip off. Wish I had check reviews before I bought voucher on Amazon. The guy was mad I would not pay for the deep cleaning which was 3 times the amount I paid for voucher. All he did was spray carpets with water. No scrubbing or cleaning. He was here less than an hour and left the carpets soaking wet and dirty.

Wow what horrible service! DO NOT BUY the groupon voucher as they will not even honor it!!! They will quote you a price that is «a discount» or use the groupon. They are the same thing. You DO NOT get a discount at all!
They showed up over an hour late. Complained to me that it was so early and that they had to wake up early. I didn’t request them to come out at 7am that was the only appointment that they had. The employee was rude and tried to up sell me once he got there by saying it is $ 130 instead of the $ 70 I was quoted but he would give it to me at a «discount» for $ 90. He refused to take my groupon.
Absolute worst customer service!

When carpet green cleaners showed up at our home, one of the employees immediately complained that our building had no elevators and had to walk up some stairs. The Groupon
stated” That two bedrooms and one hallway was included with our voucher” However, upon arrival, aside from the constant complaining by the employee, carpet green cleaning tried to jerk us $ 40 more dollars cash only for an additional «deep steam cleaning» Our bedroom is only 200 square foot with our queen bed taking up most of the space. We asked if they can steam clean our hallway in addition and they declined. They where reckless and disrespectful to our property when bringing up their equipment banging our handrails and walls. While steam cleaning our bedroom both employees spoke angrily to one another in a foreign language and we felt intimidated in our own home. Even though we tried to work with them, Stan was very defiant! When they left Stan told us this is a terrible building and he would never live here. Then he also told us to F##%& Off when we closed the gate.
Woman beware! Do not let these men in your home while alone. This was one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever had to do business with. We are still in shock

I would never use Carpet Green Clean again. I bought an Amazon Local voucher so I was going to try them – at first they cancelled a day before saying that the technician got into a car accident. I said no big deal so we rescheduled. Well, the next time, they just didn’t show up! My husband had moved all of the furniture and we waited for hours but they never came. I called several times but received no response. The next day, a technician called me and said they had called me a few times to confirm the appointment but since I hadn’t responded, they decided not to show. It turned out that they had listed the wrong number and never even called me. Regardless, why would you not come to a scheduled appointment? It was a horrible experience so I would highly recommend against using them.

Ordered through Amazon Local. Slight problem with the scheduling. But it worked out and they did a quick and thorough job. Good price and nice smelling results.

I got to know Carpet Green Clean via an Amazon voucher and I have to say I am super satisfied with their service.
The carpet in my roomie situation has not been cleaned for quite some time and so there have been a lot of spots over there. Getting the deep cleaning removed everything possible.
I can recommend them absolutely as also the customer contact and the service technician has been very friendly.

This is a real person honest review, and give Roman and Clean Green cpt. a way above average review (4.5) of the work just completed on my home. He reviewed job and recommended what needed to be done, Not a truck mount but seemed strong unit based cleaner. Promptly did all as best was possible and at a fair price. I will use this person and firm again as seems straight shooter with great work for fair $. Don G. WC

After several calls and quotes to a variety of carpet cleaners, I opted for Carpet Green Clean. They did have a Unilocal deal, but it was for steam-​cleaning (which most of the Unilocal deals are for anyway) and the carpets in my flat needed a more serious round of deep cleaning.
John provided a quote for a deep cleaning service that fit within my budget and made an exception to squeeze me in today, with only 4 days advance notice. I also followed up with a call yesterday to reconfirm the appointment.
When Alex arrived (and he even called me when he was 10 minutes away), he was prompt, polite and reconfirmed the quote that John provided. I would like to note that there were no hidden or additional fees tacked on at all. These guys were upfront and honest about the cost. I paid exactly what I was quoted, and I’m sure I got a accurate quote because I was upfront about the condition of the carpets.
Now, the carpets in my flat are ancient… possibly the original carpets installed, and they have a lot of wear and tear. I was not expecting a miracle on getting these carpets «like new». I just wanted to get them clean. Two rooms and one hallway later, the results are way beyond what I expected! The amount of stains that I thought would be impossible to remove, he did, and in about an hour, to complete all three areas. And now I can enjoy the lovely 1980’s salmon-​colored carpet as they were intended, with shoes off!
Also note that it can take about 6 hours for the carpets to dry, but Alex provided some additional tips on how to help the drying process along. I also used my dehumidifier to help expedite the process.
I was pleased with the results and would use Carpet Green Clean again. Thanks guys!

AVOID the $ 39 deal– HORRIBLE customer service from hostile up-​seller. Would give zero stars if possible. Here’s why:
– Don missed the appointment at 10. Arrived at 12:45.
– Left his tools at last job in Napa so had to go get it, so asked me to wait 2 hours. Then got HOSTILE at me when I said this is unprofessional. Tried to argue that his last customer was happy, I said «I am not that customer since this is my experience with you.» but I agreed to wait.
– I waited, 4 hours pasted, NO SHOW and didn’t pick up the phone. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
– When he first arrived for the walk through, he immediately tried to up-​sell and charge us for a «$ 100 Deep Clean» of our carpet which aren’t bad. He said the stains will still show with a basic cleaning.
– He counted the stairs and tried to charge me $ 4 per stairs of the 22 stairs (on 1 flight of stairs)…that’s an additional $ 88 on top of $ 39 Living Social Deal.
– When he was not successful on up-​selling — he said he left his tools at the last job. (Given my appointment was at 10am, why would he schedule something earlier in Napa??)
– We should have known he has bad since we had to call and email him repeatedly for him to contact us now this bad experience makes me want to share this review so you can avoid this.
** I recommend not working with his unprofessional hostile individual

Awful. Poor and delayed communication from the get go. They cancelled right before their scheduled time due to «car trouble» then tried to reschedule much later. This was unacceptable so they made room for today. The cleaner was highly unprofessional. He did not have a receipt/​paper/​pen! He uncharged $ 50 ON TOP of the living social deal I purchased to remove stains, claiming that it is extra… what is the point of the living social deal then? After agreeing to the up charge there are STILL stains. They tried to up charge a small part of the bedroom as a «hallway». This business is just awful. Shame on living social for promoting them.

Poor customer service! Had an appointment scheduled for Saturday, 10−11am. At 1130 I called, no answer but left a message since no one had arrived. At 1145 called again, no answer.
At 6:30pm I received a call that the technician was sick. Too little too late.
Living Social was kind enough to refund my voucher.

TERRIBLE! SIMPLY AWFUL!
My biggest regret is that I didn’t check Unilocal before buying the Groupon voucher for this place. They refused to honor the groupon voucher and insisted we needed a «deep cleaning» for another $ 100 above the $ 49 voucher. I was not there at the time and they pressured my poor wife into submission after some seriously rude behavior.
The carpet looks about the same too FYI.
Don’t fall for these guys. I doubt this business will be around much longer.

When things sound too good to be true, they often are.
That’s why, after I bought a $ 50 voucher on LivingSocial for CGC’s carpet cleaning (3 bedrooms and 1 hallway), I wasn’t very surprised when the cleaner showed up and asked for an extra $ 120 to remove the stains.
Normally I’d get angry about bait-​and-​switch scams. But mostly I feel sorry for this company. It has so much trouble standing out among competition that it resorts to dishonesty to attract customers.
Bait-​and-​switch might result in some short-​term gain for CGC. But all the 1-​star comments on this Unilocal listing should drive future customers away. And those of us who were scammed certainly won’t be using their services again. I’d be surprised if this business is still around another year.

First time purchase voucher from living social, and this is totally scam. My place is 2 room apartment, less than 1000 ft, but this company charged us additional $ 45 cause they said our place is bigger than they thought. Due to my mom spoke limited English so my mom just paid them. They finish our place less than 15 mins, and I don’t see too much difference from before. This is first time that the carpet company that bargain with us about the price after I purchased the voucher. I will never do business with them again and will not recommend to anybody.

I am so angry that I actually made the guy leave after he came. He was THREE AND HALF HOURS LATE and DIDN’T CALL. My appt was at 3, and he shows up at 6:30. When I said, I thought you were supposed to be here at 3, he said, oh, it was 3 — 6, and sorry we were busy.
Then, he said he wouldn’t move any furniture out of the way to clean. OK, I don’t expect them to move heavy things out of the way, but he wouldn’t even push chairs out of the path. When I asked WTH, he said, «didn’t you read the options?»
Yes, I read the options. I’ve also gotten my carpet cleaned 100x and know that most reasonable people move things out of the way, like when you vacuum, even if it’s not heavy stuff.
I paid $ 45 for this on Amazon Local, and I’m going to get a refund. I couldn’t even handle him being here for $ 45. Seriously — DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!

Absolute RIP OFF. I called and got a quote for $ 89 for two medium sized rooms, so I scheduled it, and the guy got there on time. This was the end of the good part. My landlord was the one who was there supervising, as I had already left town, and he said the guys were drinking beer (some PBRs that we abandoned in the fridge when we left) when he showed up. As a beer lover, I don’t really care unless they were drunk, but it’s still highly unprofessional to go through someone’s fridge and drink beer that was not offered to them, ON THE JOB!!!
I’m not exactly sure how it all went down but it wound up costing me $ 268 to do a basic carpet shampoo in ONE bedroom and ONE living room! There were barely any stains (I have a Bissell green clean machine that I used any time there was a spill, or my cat threw up) and I feel totally gypped. Would’ve been nice to know that the original quote was for WATER ONLY, with no shampoo or «deep cleaning.» Total bullshit — DO NOT USE THEM!!!
