Specialties
We make a style of pizza often labeled Neo-Neapolitan. Our high-hydration dough provides a perfect crunch and chew with help from the high temperature of our wood-fired oven. Besides traditional pizza combinations, our breakfast pizzas (chorizo and eggs &eggs benedict) and barbecue are frequent favorites. For the true test of the style, try a margherita, a simple and delicious pizza classic.
History
Established in 2012.
The Flatrock Flatbread Company was born from a desire to make locally grown foods more accessible in a ready to eat form. A move to Columbus in 2011 made it the perfect time to roll out our vision.
Meet the Business Owner
Ben F.
Business Owner
Ben’s first job was at Shiloh Station in Marysville. This restaurant was growing its own Black Angus on the family ranch. This was 1989. Ben worked up from busing tables and washing dishes to lead short-order chef quickly. A degree in Philosophy led to several types of IT work and eventually the career of Stay-At-Home-Dad.
Ben is a Master Gardener, Certified Beer Judge, home brewer, and cheerleader for his two sons.
