Second time I’ve been to this location and the service was terrible. There were 4 other people in the entire place at noon on a Saturday if that tells you anything. We waited almost 15 minutes and didn’t see a single server. No one even came to give us silverware or take a drink order. We got up and left. As we were leaving we told the hostess we hadn’t gotten service and were leaving. She asked us to sit and let her make it right but at that point it was too late. Plus, the place smells terrible. Literally smells like sulfur and sewage. I’ve given it too many chances. I won’t go back.

I have frequented this restaurant numerous times over the past several years and was once one of my favorite places to eat. The quality in food and management have declined in past years and it is completely hit or miss if we get a good meal or not. This week there were 2 of us for dinner. We were seated about 20 minutes after arriving around 8:30PM Ordered cheddar potato soup(a favorite of ours). It was served somewhere between cold and room temp. The soup also use to be more cream based with cheese and nice pieces of baked potato in it — now it is more like canned cheese sauce with a few frozen diced potatoes. The server asked if we wanted it heated in the microwave? Um, no. Start over and bring out fresh. It came shortly afterward and still wasn’t very hot. For dinner we order steak and shrimp scampi(shrimp smelled old on the verge, even with the garlic). I didn’t complain — just didn’t eat them. We also ordered steak and crab cake. The crab cake was grayish — not grilled at all. I picked it up, broke it open. Was cold /not even room temp yet. Never grilled. I took the crab cake on a side plate and handed it to our server. The kitchen expo came out and said more were on the way… Um no, two courses, both badly undercooked? Really? The manager said it was a fluke, must be our table tonight. I said no, it indicates a need for training in your kitchen before someone gets sick. No comment from the manager. I paused, no response. I told him we would not be back any time soon.

The food was good, consistent with what we’ve had at other locations. We really enjoy the loaded potato soup. Our waitress, Loria, was extremely friendly, we will probably ask for her again.

I’ve gone to Ocharleys for the last time. Seriously have had so much bad luck there. I work in the shopping center behind, so I would love to get food ToGo but everytime I do, I regret my decision. I went there to order carry out today, around 1 so there wasn’t at all a crowd. Maybe 5 tables. I sat at the bar to order. After the bartender and server argued about taking who«had to» take my order, I got the pleasure of a server’s terrible personality that seemed totally annoyed by my presence. Her hair is to her waist in a ponytail. Didn’t catch her name but I hope her boss sees this. She was terrible. After 25 min I asked if my food was ready, she put her finger up like«wait an minute». Came back and of course it was ready. Cold. I left, didn’t tip her. I’ve worked in service industry for 15 years and that’s the first time I’ve stiffed someone. Got back to work, irritated. My burger was completely raw. So I had no choice but to cook it in the microwave because I had no other time to eat. Not calling because I will never eat there again.

I only give this place one star because I can’t give them negative stars. We had a party of 10 to celebrate my fathers 88th birthday, my brother in laws and my birthday. Because they were terribly understaffed, we waited over 40 minutes for our table. There were MANY vacant tables, most of them dirty. Our server tried his best but unfortunately it wasn’t even close to being good enough. The food came out at several different times, so none of us got to eat at the same time. I understand the difficulties of running a restaurant but if you don’t have the necessary staff to adequately serve your guests, then be honest and tell them that you couldn’t do them justice and send them on their way. This was BYFARTHEPOORESTSERVICE I’VEEVERHADINMYLIFE!!! When my sister pointed this situation out to one of the managers, she had this blank stare on her face and simply replied, «OK». Sorry O’Charleys, but guests want good food AND good service. One out of two simply doesn’t cut it.

My husband and I have eaten here a handful of times. Giving them 2 because service is sloooow and I’ve had to ask multiple times for the same thing. Curb side service is horrible. They say«give us 10⁄15 mins». I waited 20 mins to leave the house as I’m less than 5 mins away. Been sitting in the parking lot for 15 mins with no avail.

I love to come here because of the affordable food and the diversity of the menu. Plus you get free pie on Wednesdays. This place is centrally located on Hamilton Road right in front of Steinmart. What I don’t really like is that of all of the visits I’ve had here… the servers are never super friendly like they are at other places. Seems like they’re just there… going through the motions and just expecting me to tip them because they took my drink order and checked on me maybe once. Ugh… So typical anymore. I’ll still eat here… but think the customer service and friendliness could improve.

This place is terrible. I just left from having brunch and would have been better off spending money at McDonalds. I ordered a strawberry lemonade beverage and it was so filled with strawberry purée that it was overly sweet and inedible. I ordered the chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs and a side of bacon. Who can mess up eggs!!! Well, O’Charley’s certainly can and dos. The waffle was room temperature, like it had been sitting while they friends the chicken. The eggs were bland and extremely soft and mushy. The chicken tenders were good. The bacon was cold. Cold like it had been sitting out for hours. It was a terrible experience. I paid almost $ 20 for a drink that I couldn’t stomach, ½ of a room temperature waffle, and three chicken tenders. The waiter was very nice, but was clearly overwhelmed. I never even received a refill of water and it took over 20 mins to get the check. The management should be fired if they think that this is acceptable. I have never had a good experience here, but settled because it’s close to my home. Never again! Don’t waste your time at this place. This is my second visit and it will definitely be my last.

Hit or miss I have been to this location five times now and only one visit was good. There is always something that goes wrong. The first time I was there for brunch and our food took over an hour. It was served to us cold. The second time I was there, it was okay but I had to send back my fries because they were limp and soggy, like they had been cooked in oil that wasn’t hot enough. Visit number three was average. Decent food, decent service. Number four was awful! Our server didn’t even greet us or take our drink orders until we had been sitting in our booth for 10 minutes. We didn’t get rolls until we asked for them when our food arrived 40 minutes after we ordered it. The kicker? The steak I ordered medium well was so burnt that I couldn’t even cut into it. It looked and felt like a hockey puck. When I finally flagged down our server and told her she said, «yeah, I saw that…» Seriously?! Then why did you serve it to me?! The saving grace was the manager who comped my meal and apologized profusely. Our last visit was pleasant. The steak was good, the fish was great and our server got us everything we asked for with a smile. I will probably go back… I guess I’m a glutton for punishment

Unusually busy I thought for this late. Still, no more than ten minute wait. Waiter was super attentive. Drinks and food were great, as per usual. No complaints and had a great experience. Will be back next time I’m in the mood for some roast beef. Yummy!

First off, my wife and I almost always eat at the bar where ever we go just in the fact that the servers are always right in front of you. If there is more than one bartender, they are usually happy to help if your server is away. That being said, there are still good and bad bartenders. We find O’Charley’s are top-notch, at all the locations we’ve been to. On our most recent trip, we went they Saturday afternoon before Mothers Day. I asked for PGA on the TV and the server jumped right on it. He made me a great Margarita with Cabo Reposado. You could taste all the flavors. Very well made. My wife had a very tasty Strawberry Lemonade with Pinnacle Vodka. For an appetizer, she ordered the Tater-Tot Fondue. I’m not much of a «tot» fan, but these were some good tots! The cheese sauce was sharp with bacon, scallions, and shredded cheese. Sour cream accompanied all. For dinner, we opted for the full cut Prime Rib, Medium Rare. This is where there was a blatant error. One of the apparently hungover kitchen staff sent out 2, not even debatably close, well-done, gray pieces of meat. How someone could miss that is beyond my comprehension. However, our server picked up on our dismay immediately and had our meals before us in no more than 5 minutes. It Was Perfect! I don’t know how I could say it was the best Prime I’ve ever had, as I’ve eaten at the best of restaurants, but it was right in there. No gristle, no stringy fat, no tough portions. The only thing disquieting about the meal was that the asparagus wasn’t trimmed at the ends and was fibrous and inedible. The star of the show, however, was well worth the price of admission.

They should call this place“No Charlie’s” Mediocre ingredients produce Mediocre Food. I won’ even go after the waitress who was sweet but never there when you need her but always there when you don’t. Ribeye Steak had bitter char marks when ordered medium rare. Ranch dressing on side salad tasted watered down. When a manager approached and asked if my dinner was excellent I replied«not exactly»!but he just walked away. No Charlie’s…No more.

Food was ok. Servers not very attentive. Had to keep waiting for drinks and cable check backs only happened once. Which makes it difficult when we needed napkins. They were on a 45 minute wait, yet there were at least 15 open tables. I find this unacceptable for a Sunday afternoon directly following church. Table booths were dirty with dried food. My son wanted desert, but we were never asked. The server just dropped the check and left so we did not even have the chance to ask her for it. I felt it was one of the most poorly managed O’charleys I have been to. Normally, this concept is dependable. Unfortunately, this location is not.

My husband wanted to go to O’Charley’s tonight because he was jonesing their tater tots, and I wanted to go because it’s close to home and I didn’t want to be out all night. Bad move. We sat at the table for at least 30 minutes without anyone even coming to take our drink order, so we finally left. I tried going to their website to leave a comment about the lack of service, but their site doesn’t have a place to leave feedback. I guess they really don’t care about what their customers think.

We’ve visited O’Charley’s twice in the past month. First time was a Friday night for dinner, and everything came out great. I tried the California Chicken Salad, and it was delicious. My date had the tenders, which looked really good(almost exactly like Cane’s); she ended up enjoying them. The second time was for lunch on a Wednesday, and I tried the Classic Cobb Salad, which was pretty good… I just enjoyed the California Chicken a bit better. Date had the steak and tenders. While she had ordered the steak at medium-rare, it came out a little beyond well-done. Even the waitress seemed shocked by the doneness and offered to take it back for a new one. The second steak came out at medium, but we didn’t want to make a fuss over it so she ended up eating it. Steak turned out tasty, along with the tenders. Also, Wednesday is free pie day, so you get a free slice with any entrée! Can’t go wrong there! If only they had lemon meringue…

My bride ordered the Cowboy Sirloin well done and it came that way, she was pleased. I ordered the new Swiss? steak with green beans. The Steak was ordered medium well and it came hockey puck style, so tough I could hardly cut it much less chew it. Normally the food is excellent but in this visit it was not up to par. Service was excellent, the waiter was very good. Fire the cook!

Worst take out ever! If you really want to enjoy the food here, eat it there! The rolls were put into a paper bag and smashed under the food. The food I ordered was awful. The mashed potatoes were put into a styrofoam container and resembled KFC! The salad was warm and put in bags with hot food! Never order on the carry out menu!

Dropped in here with a friend for lunch and was fairly impressed overall. It had been a few years since I had been in this location and they have done a major remodel job. A large Columbus themed mural wrapped around the interior and they closed off the kitchen windows. Quickly seated in a comfy large booth during a fairly busy lunch service we didn’t have to wait long before our server was there to take our drink and appetizer orders. Got an order of the Spicy Jack Cheese Wedges to start off. Ahhh those wonderfully fried spicy, melty, cheesy wedges, served with a side of warm marinara and probably as close to cheese nirvana as I’ll ever be. I went South by Southwest and got the Chicken Fried Steak with snausage gravy and cheesy bacon smashed taters(yes, I got my weeks cheese serving in one meal). My friend got a perfectly cooked to order Louisiana Sirloin and grilled asparagus. Paired up with great friendly service this was quite an enjoyable dining experience. Yeah, I’ll be back again for more cheesiness, the good kind…
