Monro Muffler Brake & Service

I needed an oil change so I called and they were able to give me a same day appointment. I took my car in a little bit early and they started right away and said it would be around 45 minutes till it was finished. It only took 30 minutes! I like that I didn’t have to wait forever and that they did a good job. They also didn’t try and sell me anything I didn’t need to make more money. I will definitely come back.

Service is quick, pricing is pretty fair but a little on the high end.

I called Munro’s only after learning that one of my favorite auto shops had closed for business and the other couldn’t get me in for two weeks. Munro got me in the very next day for an appointment after work which means that I didn’t have the extra hassle of having to find transportation to get to and from. Although I was a few minutes late, the mechanic pulled my car right in, looked at it, and completed the repairs in less than 30 minutes with a $ 10 charge. It probably helped that I knew exactly what was wrong (thanks to a friend) so they didn’t have to spend extra time on diagnostics. Nevertheless, I’ve had the unfortunate inconvenience of having dealt with some very shady mechanics and as a result know that they could have charged me so much more and took up so much more of my time. As I was waiting, another longtime customer walked in who said that he has used this shop for his vehicles often over the years and has been very satisfied with the work. I’ll probably stick to my current mechanic for major work, but they’ve definitely earned my business for oil changes/​minor repairs.

We had our car at the dealership for a brake inspection. We were told we needed new rear brake pads and rotors and a price. I called Monroe who quoted me over $ 170 less than the dealership and fit me in the same day. Excellent and fast service!

If you need good mechanics with reasonable prices this is who we use. They haven’t let us down yet for several years. My husband even let them do some work on his street rod, a 1923 T Bucket Roadster, and he doesn’t let very many people touch that.
