I went to look at engagement rings with one of my friends because my fiancé is deployed.
The salesperson, did not want to help me and was very apprehensive about showing me rings because we «did not look like serious buyers». Just because my fiancé could not be there because he’s halfway across the world doesn’t mean I am not a serious buyer!!! I told him my price range and he scoffed at me. He took me to only one case of rings and just stood there giving me one worded answers to my questions. I am astonished by the unprofessionalism that was displayed to me.
I will make sure we do not make a purchase from any Diamond Cellar from this point forward.

After going to Jared and getting terrible customer service, we headed over to Diamond Cellar one night to learn about diamonds/​engagement rings. We started to work with Bill. He was great! He sat down with my fiancé and I and we looked at diamonds and he explained what to look for in diamonds and let us look at as many as we wanted. He sat with us for probably two hours and was extremely patient with us and helpful, even knowing that we were not ready to buy yet.
My fiancée ended up buying the diamonds and sapphires with Bill and designing my engagement ring and had nothing but great experiences with Bill. We also went back and bought our wedding bands and my fiancée bought me some beautiful sapphire earrings. We have never been pressured to buy there and have had nothing but helpful and great experiences! We will always go back here, even if they are pricier than some other jewelers just due to the no pressure sales and helpful, honest customer service.

My wife and I had custom rings made by Jeff McGlosson, and they are AMAZING. The service was also fantastic– Jeff stayed in constant communication w/​us and was super responsive to all of our questions. You could go to any jewelry store, but if you’re looking for five-​star treatment at normal, fair prices, Diamond Cellar is the best bet in town. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you DC for everything– we are so thrilled w/​our bling!

This the place I go to when I want new diamond jewelry. The staff there are impeccable and also let you know they’re ready when you are and give you space to browse. I love that they have so very many different types of collections you can choose from. It’s nice to be able to compare and contrast them. I was in this time to get my ring repaired and cleaned. While I was there I decided to take a gander at new diamond earrings that I’m going to hope Santa Claus will bring me. Anytime I want something nice I’m going to come here because of the top quality they carry. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Worked with Randy Siegel for my fiancé’s engagement ring. He was amazing to work with. I lived out of state at the time and he was so helpful and patient. The ring turned out fantastic.

Im a watch guy. Typically, Swiss automatics are my thing, and while my collection is not huge by any means, I have all the big players… except for one, so I told myself when I retire, I would gift myself with a elusive Rolex. Well, I was supposed to retire this summer, but was convinced (and compensated) to stay one. So I said to myself «Why wait… enjoy it now.» so I pulled the trigger.
I am now the owner of a Rolex Oyster Milgauss. Michael, who waited on me was very nice, informative, and professional. Once you make a purchase, you become part of the family. I also understand a jewelry shop like this has a lot of overhead… its a really nice store, so I could have probably gotten a little better deal elsewhere, but Im okay with keeping the money local. Good experience… Im a fan.

Randy Siegel helped my wife and I when we went to Diamond Cellar looking for her wedding band. Randy was extremely courteous and very easy to get along with. He showed us exactly what we were looking for and was very patient as we were having a hard time deciding on the perfect wedding band for my wife. I had bought a similar wedding band from another jewelry store in Columbus and Diamond Cellar easily beat the price on that band by a significant margin for the same quality diamonds. I would definitely recommend the Diamond Cellar to other shoppers in the Columbus area. This place has a unique mix of great prices and exceptional customer service. Randy even offered to complete refinishing services on our other rings for free.

I began shopping for an engagement ring at chain stores around the Columbus area; but unfortunately was unsatisfied with the selection. I decided to walk into Diamond Cellar and instantly knew I was in the right place. The Diamond Cellar had a level of attention I hadn’t seen in the other jewelry stores. I worked with Jason who helped me pick a setting, showed me loose diamonds, and asked me questions about what I was looking for and what I wanted. At first, I answered quickly but he reminded me to look at the diamond more closely and tell him how I thought the diamond looked in the light. I really appreciate that Jason never pressured me into my purchase and guided me through the process instead of being another salesman. After the purchase and proposal, Jason was extremely helpful in helping us size the ring and continuing to explain all of the information presented after the appraisal. Overall, Jason was extremely helpful and accommodating. After this whole process, I know I will be coming back to the Diamond Cellar to purchase my first Rolex!

My fiancé and I visited the Diamond Cellar to specifically look at their Rolex watch collection. As we entered the front door, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist. She asked us what she could do for us today. We stated our interest in looking at Rolex watches. She directed us to walk down to the end of the store, and stated someone would be with us shortly. We had about 5 minutes to look at their watch collection on our own, which I liked, because I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to make a decision while a sales associate was hovering over me. As we were browsing their watches, we were warmly greeted by Harold, one of Diamond Cellar’s sales associates. He was a very polite man, and I could tell he genuinely wanted to be helpful any way he could. I let him know what we were looking for, and he showed us what they had available. I tried on multiple Rolexes before deciding on one that I extremely liked. One of the managers, Randy, even approached us to make sure we were satisfied and to offer additional assistance. We had the option to get a one-​year interest free loan on the watch (which is a great option), but declined. Overall, I would have to say my experience at the Diamond Cellar was excellent, in fact, we are planning to go back to get my fiancé a Rolex in the near future.

If you want to open a credit card, this is the place for you! If you want to look at jewelry, go somewhere else. We made an appointment for which our salesman, Jason, was about 15 minutes late. So we browsed around the bridal section while we waited. I had sent him some photos of things I liked as well as a budget I wanted to stay within so I assumed that would be given consideration. It was obvious there was no thought put into the rings I was being shown as they looked nothing like the ideas I had emailed to Jason, and the first ring he showed me was over double our budget. I tried on maybe 8 rings and said I liked one, and he immediately went to write up the sale. I felt incredibly rushed, like I was inconveniencing him by wanting to try on multiple rings.
We were given a single financing option of a 30% interest credit card. When the limit came back at half of what we needed to finance, Jason’s body language completely changed and he grudgingly got out a few diamonds to show us what they would look like in the set. At that point (probably because he thought he had lost the sale) he let us know there was another financing option — which was way better for us. I felt deceived. Obviously there was a perk he wanted for him to open a credit card even if it meant not doing what was best for us.
He then pressured us into putting a deposit on the diamond. The next day we read the fine print of the paperwork and discovered it was not completely as he had stated. Again, I felt deceived. I will NOT purchase anything from someone I cannot trust. Fortunately we were able to get our money back. He told me we wouldn’t get financing anywhere — another lie. We got more than we needed at Meyer’s Jewelers.
So if you want high pressure sales, deception, and to be made to feel like you are a waste of time even though you’re spending a large amount of money, go to the Diamond Cellar, and be sure to see Jason Sakasci.

I took a couple of watches to The Diamond Cellar a few weeks back to get them working again. He has a TAG and a (what I thought was) Citizen. The service when I got in there was really great. The gentleman was very nice and very courteous. He got all of my information quickly and advised what we needed to do. I didn’t think that the cost was too much either ($ 35 to get a new battery and pressure test the watch to ensure no seals were bad).
I was called about a week later to advise that they were able to change the battery on the TAG as well as pressure test it and all was good. However, the Citizen was supposed to have been working without a battery, but wasn’t working and there really wasn’t anything they could do. The information on the Citizen only further my suspicion that my husband and I had unknowingly purchased a knock-​off while in the Caribbean the year before…
With that being said, the Diamond Cellar wasn’t to blame for that.
I went to pick up the watches the following week and was treated more than nicely by the staff there. I also got my diamond ring cleaned while there and the lady who took care of me was beyond nice.
I think that we will certainly go back to this shop to possibly look at watches at a later date or to even look at jewelry. I got a feeling that I was more than a valued customer while I was there for the watch repair, and that was by no means an expensive fix. However, I get the feeling that they just treat all of their customers with the same courtesy and respect, and I would only choose to spend money in places where that is the case.

An excellent experience every time! We have now purchased my engagement ring & wedding band, as well as my fiancé’s wedding band from DC. Randy Siegel was fantastic. DC is family owned, operated with the on-​site ability to design & make anything you are looking for. I was torn between two rings. Randy suggested the possibility of combining the two and was then able to make it from scratch for less than they could have altered one of them. And, he was able to add some features to make it fit my very small finger properly. At no time did we ever feel like we were being «sold». We feel like we are part of the family on every visit and highly recommend DC & Randy Siegel to anyone looking for a personal experience.

Jason Sakasci was by my side about 2 seconds after I walked in the door, answered my questions before I even asked them and not once did he pitch me. I don’t like being sold to and that never happened. This is a family owned business and they clearly treat their employees like family because they all seem to care for the business as if it were their own. Quality all around. If you go to a crappy corporate chain instead of here you are missing out.

NO ONE was in the store. SUPER snooty women employees (who I’m sure are being paid hourly) treat you like they are the owners of all the diamonds. Ask them a question about product or protocol, they have no idea. Note to diamond cellar, employ some NICE people or train your staff to ACT NICELY towards CUSTOMERS. WILL NOT BE BACK AGAIN, would much rather go to Tiffany’s or even a Dept store jewelry counter where you are treated with such warmth.

I have now purchased my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band at the Diamond Cellar both experiences were fantastic. While looking for her ring I went to a number of stores and DC was hands down the best. They were tops with Customer Service, quality of items and selection. My now wife loves her rings and gets compliments daily.
In the end they helped me build and customize my wife’s rings while staying in my modest budget. She now has something she loves and I couldn’t have don’t it with out the great people at DC.
I will cont to shop here first and foremost for all of my Jewelry needs.

My husband came here to look for my engagement ring last year and was completely ignored despite the fact that several salesmen were free. He even got ignored after asking for help. We’re in our mid-20’s and he was dressed like a college student, I guess that’s reason for them to treat you like trash. He left without looking at anything, and I don’t regret it. We went to Tiffany’s, got treated the way we deserved and found my engagement ring.

I was purchased a new watch here in December as a gift. Randy Siegel assisted us with the options. He was fantastic and the watch is beautiful. Thanks!

I went to 5 different jewelers to get my watch battery changed. Due to the brand of watch, most jewelers did not sell them, thus they wouldn’t service the watch. Finally, I made my way to a retailer who sold my brand of watch. They told me they would have to send the watch out to have the battery changed. They said I would have to pay for the service and the shipping. Thankfully, they referred me to the Diamond Cellar. When I arrived, the Diamond Cellar service specialist took my watch to Nick. He was able to replace the battery within 10 minutes. He gave me his card, and thanked me for coming to the store. I will definitely return for further service needs. Thanks!

Don’t take my 2 star review here to heart too much. I’ll explain why.
I came here for an event last week which was wonderful! The Diamond Cellar and the nearby Hilton partnered to hold a Ladies Night Out Event here. They had food and wine and brought in extra staff to help us find jewelry pieces that we loved. They even gave us little wish lists that we could fill out with what we wanted as well as $ 100 off any purchase of $ 300 or more that evening. Sounds great, right?!
Meh, I didn’t see a single thing that I liked. Its a large store and I thought that I would be able to find something, but I was really disappointed with the selection. I understand that someplace called the Diamond Cellar would focus on diamonds, but I’m not looking for something huge. Just simple and understated for this girl. But unless I was looking to buy a $ 26,000 canary yellow diamond ring or something that was intricately covered in tons of diamonds, I was out of luck. I asked to see the solitaires and there weren’t many to choose from.
Even my friends agreed that it was a disappointing selection. We stuck around long enough for the diamond necklace giveaway (we didn’t win) and then headed off. Their selection just wasn’t for us (or our boyfriends’ wallets). The only word we could come up to describe most of what they had was gaudy.
So for me, I’ve been to better jewelry stores (hence the 2 stars) but the staff was friendly and eager to help (even if it was in the wrong direction). If you’re a diamond fan, you might as well try here because that’s definitely what you’ll get.

Came into Diamond Cellar to see if they had a solution for my wedding ring that is just a tad too big. Rich took my ring back to a fancy gadgetvin the back and literally minutes latery ring was a perfect fit! He was so helpful that I wanted to share my positive experience.
