Very clean updated bathroom (see pic), updated windows, very friendly receptionist, picnic table under the trees, and it’s next to 2 coffee houses. We would definitely stay here again! Great find.

We highly recommend Colfax Motor Lodge. It is very clean and the proprietors are helpful and very friendly! My brother and sister and their families love camping, so we wanted our grandson to experience it. Since my husband and I don’t care for camping, we decided to stay in a motel close to the campgrounds. So if you don’t want to «rough it», do as we did and stay here! We really enjoyed our stay and I’m sure you will too!

Stayed here for one week very clean rooms and friendly staff. Rooms are on the small side but livable. Very fast internet and plenty of channel selections on the Tv. The only thing is that the rooms don’t have microwaves in them and the walls can be bit thin if you get a room next to a loud person. Will be staying here again when my Job requires me to be in the Colfax area.

Not anything super special but basic, clean, not expensive. A bit loud with the proximity to the highway. The Manager is über-​cool though, and there are plenty of restaurants all within walking distance as well as a full service grocery store.

Made a reservation for one night. Never ended up staying there, but reviewing and giving high ratings just because the people who work there were soooooo nice on the phone. Totally old school, nothing pretentious (clearly), no penalties for last minute cancellations.

Easily one of the cutest motels i’ve ever seen. Recently renovated with all new beautiful cherry furniture. table and chairs with a coffee maker and fridge in all the rooms, nice new tv’s with dvd players and a long porch in front of all rooms with cute benches and plants. Obviously an old building that has been redone but the architectural quirks in the rooms like archways and unique ceilings give it extra charm. Also all new clean bathroom appliances. Really a great place to stay with friendly staff-​dont miss it.

What a great place to stay! Cozy, clean and very friendly staff made our stay so nice. We had 3 families in our group, 3 different rooms and everyone was able to enjoy the nice little porch out front for visiting time. Very affordable as well. Loved it.

La Jolla, CA
I stayed here on business for an extened period of time. The owners are really great people and truly made me feel at home. The place is recently renovated… super clean, comfortable and updated. Convenient to I-​80 if you’re keen on that. Only reason I gave four stars and not five is the road noise from I-80…but if you keep the windows closed it’s no big deal. Trust me, I lived at the place for 7 weeks — it’s a good spot.
