Sometimes overlooked in favor of other Italian places, Little Italy in Cobleskill offers tasty food at reasonable prices. At 6:30 on a Saturday evening the restaurant was busy but not overcrowded. Service was prompt, attentive, and well timed. We enjoyed a dozen wings that were perfectly crisped and sauced. The mild sauce still has a good zip to it — definitely the best wings we’ve had from any Italian place in the area. We ordered chicken parm and chicken francaise(but were sorely tempted by the scallops orreganata). Our dinners came with salad which was so-so and a loaf of warm bread plus three pieces of garlic bread that had roasted chopped garlic on top — delicious. We both enjoyed our dinners and thought they were quite tasty. The portions are huge and we both took home enough for lunch the next day. Since it was Valentine’s Day weekend we received two chocolate dipped strawberries with whipped cream on the house. Total price was $ 52 — we will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a slice and an eggplant sandwich. Both were tasteless. I added all the condiments on the table. I even added salt. I rarely add salt. The eggplant was mushy and so was the bread. Ugh myellow

I do love my pizza and I was very happy with what they had to offer here. I was just passing through and was craving pizza. My electric car was charging at the EV charging station and I walked here.(Very long walk, about 45 minutes) worth it through, because today is a year later, I am here again, charging in the same spot and thinking about going to the same place.

I generally steer clear of strip mall restaurants, but this one made me revisit my prejudice. The sauce makes or breaks an Italian restaurant, and Little Italy can make some sauce. We had an excellent Pasta Puttanesca and a huge portion of that old standby, Chicken Parm. Our other pasta dish was slightly over-oiled, but still enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient and the prices very reasonable for large portions of good quality food. Who knew that Italian food would justify pulling off the highway at Cobleskill?

We had pasta dishes – all were excellent. We are from Long Island where the Italian food is very good. This was on par. Service was very good. They had quite a few specials but we stayed with the standard dishes. We were told that the owner is from Brooklyn. Now it all makes sense.

Good meal with grandma’s pizza. As always we were treated good. Very quiet on a Monday night we were the only ones in there for a little while.

Hidden gem. Bread warm and delicious Salad was basic but good Servings were delicious and very generous. I normally always finish my plate. This place had me bringing home a doggie bag. Prices weren’t bad maybe a dollar more than it should’ve been. Don’t judge a book by its cover when it comes to this place.

A fantastic pie called The Little Italy Garden Pie was on the table for lunch and what a pie it was! Whole roasted garlic cloves, roasted red peppers, sautéed spinach, fresh mozzarella and a chunky light tomato sauce atop some of the best crust we’ve had in a while. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but if we’re in the area, this will be our spot for pizza. I can’t speak for their entrees, but their menu looked like the usual Italian fare with moderate prices. They had several specials to choose from. Service was quick, polite, and professional. Go.

This place is really good, you would have to drive hours before you can find a place to compete… I ordered the stromboli, it was really good, and pretty freaking huge! Service was good, plus it has beer and wine. My server(Sara) was very good, polite, informed, and really cute. The pizza is pretty damngood too. Overall, I consider this is the second best restaurant in Coby(only behind the Vietnamese restaurant dairy deli, read my other review for more info).

Wonderful service, down home family atmosphere. If your looking for pretense or expense this is not the place for you, but if you want fast friendly service and hearty food for the whole family this is exactly the right place.

This pizza really shocked me by being tasty! The restaurant looks very sad and it’s in a strip mall so I just assumed it would be disgusting. They forgot the garlic knots that apparently come with every pizza but it was ok because the pizza was good.

I’m from Brooklyn and I’ve been to many restaurants in new York city. I’m a chef as well and I have to say the food was very good. Service was very prompt and the waitress was very good in knowing the menu and how the food was cooked. There were 8 of us and everything went great. I would defiantly come back.

Summary– Mid/low level Italian at mid level prices in a mid level strip mall with pretty decent service. Didn’t try the pizza. Food– 2.5 Stars Start off salad was meh, lots of ends/centers and overdressed badly. Food– I got chicken parm, it was fine but just overall meh, from meh marinara to overcooked angel hair. Just nothing to write home about. A decent portion for the $ 13 or whatever it was. Value– 2 Stars I have had cheaper Italian that was better. Service– 4 Stars Nice waitress was timely. Atmosphere– 3 Stars Fine nothing special, clean. Kinda split from front(pizza joint esque) to rear(sit down service). Pizza area was loud during lunch as dude was kinda slamming around pie pans. Drinks– TBD
