My go-to pizza spot in Clifton Park. Brings back memories of slices at the Clifton Commons when I was a kid. They seem to go heavy on the oregano and it makes the pie.

I’ve picked up a few pies from Venezia over the past 6 months or so and every time I’ve been pleased. Although I will be honest and say it’s not the *~*best*~* leprechaun endorsed unicorn infused pizza I’ve ever had, it’s still very good. You can tell high quality and fresh ingredients are used. And really, taste in pizza, or basically anything else, is subjective. So maybe they make the best pizza you’ve ever had. Give them a try! As far as service, totally great. Fast, friendly, and great prices. No problems there at all. The only reason it’s 4⁄5 and not 5⁄5 is the sauce. I’m very particular about sauce, and it’s juuust on the thinner side for me. Not runny or tasteless by any means, and seasoned well. But if were just a bit thicker I think we’d have a winner. Again, personal taste. How boring would it be if all pizza in Albany was«I Love»? Oh wait, that’s actually happening…

I was disappointed with the crust. It was too doughy. The sauce also has a different taste to it. It wasn’t awful, just not as good as I was hoping it would be with such high ratings. We will be trying somewhere else for pizza next time.

This has for a long time been my favorite pizza in the area, and actually may be my favorite take-out pizza place on the east coast. The slices are huge, and have a somewhat thin crust, and are cooked perfectly. My favorite is their BBQ chicken pizza, and my close second favorite is their ham & pineapple. I haven’t tried too many things here other than the pizza, because it’s so good that you don’t want to risk anything else.

Pizza was good. Mozzarella sticks were yummy. The staff was very friendly. All-in-all, a good, safe, local pizza joint that delivers solid pizza.

AWESOME pizza and a great staff to go with it! I had an odd request for a mickey mouse shaped pizza for a friend who loved disney. I tried 2 other pizza shops in the area and both said they could not do it. The girls at Venezia were more then happy to do this for me and seemed excited to try something new! They didnt make me feel like an inconveniece the way the other two places had. I was thrilled with the way the pizza came out and the pizza was delicious to top it off!

I have always loved this pizza place!!! I grew up in the area and always remember coming here with my family to eat or get take-out pizza. The staff is very nice, the restaurant is clean, and the food is always good. The antipasto is a staple to get here. It is fresh and delicious. The pizza is thin and flavorful. I love the large 24 cut for a big group. We got it over the summer when the World Cup was on. The pieces are the perfect size. If you’re in the area, try it Venezia! It’s definitely one of the best around.

My mom loves this place, so we come here whenever I’m back in town. It’s a locally-owned joint, so they make most of the stuff themselves. I like their meatball & mushroom pizza(the meatball is sliced thin and seasoned), and their antipasto(mix of salad and cold Italian meats/cheese) is a nice way to start the meal. A lot of the local kids work here, and the service is always very friendly. One of the better pizza places in town — a much better experience(and better pizza) than Pizza Hut or Domino’s.

I ordered the Alfredo tortellini… I got a lot of sauce and the portion was huge… perfectly seasoned… the complimentary bread has a nice crunchy crust on the outside and soft center… this is a great place to grab something for a decent price

Everybody likes their pizza«their way». So, there’s no such thing as perfection, I guess, but Venezia’s is as good as any that I’ve ever had anywhere. Their white linguine & clam sauce is GIGANTIC and FARBETTER than most that I’ve ever had ANYWHERE … at far greater prices! Their fettucine Alfredo(Actually, my wife’s leftovers.) is also GIGANTIC and absolutely fantastic! Eventually, I’ll get through their entire menu. Just gotta block out all of my favorites, is all, so I can keep trying something new each time. Seems like I get a new favorite every time, y’know? This ain’t just another pizza joint, folks. They’re very serious about what they do and it shows in every dish. I said $$ but you can get out for less than $ 10 if you’re not too hungry. I never go here not hungry, is all.

Good pizza is tough to find in Clifton Park, so today when craving Friday night pizza I remembered Venezia’s. Not a super close drive but as close as any of the not so great locations. Called in our order, white broccoli pizza and 6 wings, pleasant girl taking the order and a 25 minute wait– not bad. When I arrived, there was plenty of staff eager to wait on you. My wings were just coming out and the pizza was quickly retrieved from the kitchen piping hot. The girl that waited on me was super friendly and helpful and I was out if there in 5 minutes tops with plenty of other people being helped. Pizza was delicious, nice thin crust and the wings were crispy and juicy. I am happy I remembered this pizza option!

Standard pizza place but seating is about 5x larger than any place I’ve ever eaten in. Busier at lunch but the wait should still be under 5 min as they are very well staffed. THEFOOD Cheese slice was standard fare. Nice thin pizza with a great cheese to sauce ratio. The cheese was a bit mild so adding a touch of salt may be necessary. The sauce was pretty good; a little bit sweet with a nice hint of oregano. White Broccoli slice I would probably pass on. It’s their only real specialty slice they had featured. They probably used frozen broccoli which is fine but overall t was pretty mild. Adding a touch of fresh garlic would have drastically improved it. Neither of the slices were overwhelmingly oily which is always a plus. PRICE 1 cheese slice, 1 specialty slice and a medium soda for $ 5.50 isn’t a steal for lunch(didn’t see any lunch specials) but still pretty good. SUMMARY I’d come back if I was in town again looking for a quick slice at a good value.

This a pretty good place for pizza and pasta. Venezia Pizza & Pasta is tucked away in the Plank Road Plaza across the road from Shoppers World, dine-in or takeout. They offer a tasty thin crust pizza, calzones, sausage rolls, subs, wings, and pasta dinners(with salad & bread). On tap, they serve Coors Light and Yuengling Lager by the mug and pitcher. Daily specials(everyday) are offered including certain subs and dinners. The prices are reasonable. See the menu and specials at It is clearly stated on the menus that a 50 cents charge will be added to takeout dinners. The place is order at the counter with two sections of dining and 4 HDTVs on the yellow walls. Free Wi-Fi is offered and there’s still an old Ms. Pac Man machine too. On my last visit, it happened be Wednesday, so I decided to order both daily specials which were 2 cheese slices & Diet Coke fountain drink($ 3.04 plus tax) for dine-in and for later, I also got the Baked Ziti Dinner($ 7.49, normally $ 8.49) plus the 50 cents takeout fee. The pizza slices were heated in the oven, the crust nice and crispy with lots of cheesy on the greasy side. The Baked Ziti was all set a few minutes after I finished the slices. The portion of food was generous, the ziti baked in a round foil container, firm ziti with tomato sauce, ricotta, and topped with melted mozzarella chese. The tossed salad with iceberg, tomatoes, onions, black & green olives had a good Italian dressing mixed in already. The Italian bread was decent and good for dipping in the sauce. I had leftovers and finished the ziti the next day. Very filling pasta. Overall, I enjoyed the pizza and pasta dinner and very efficient service. I’ll have to give this place some points for having Yuengling Lager on tap. My coworkers in NH get really excited for this particular beer(not available in New England), especially if it’s on tap.
