This restaurant is now closed and now reopened as jimmy’s egg. This former restaurant use to be California pizza, but that went under too.

Very good food, with a complete menu. Good gluten free pizza. Nice atmosphere as well, courteous waitress

No organization at the hostess station for reservations. They seemed was Trivia Night so the sound was loud in dining area. They were definitely understaffed this evening. One meal was delivered incorrectly as a meat stuffed bread that should have been a broccoli one. Pizza was delicious. Our pizza to go was forgotten but to the waitress’ credit we had our bill deducted for both. If you don’t mind the wait and slow service you may get free food…

The food is good, comes out nice and hot and fast. Is it a bar restaurant or a Chuckie Cheeze? The ambience is so bright, like a fast food place. Need tone down the lights.

We arrive at 5.15. We waited until 5.55 for food, despite those arriving after us being served first. At 35 minutes, the server came out to announce they were out of something for my husband’s order. 35 minutes from order to ‘we are out of this’ which seems like a long time. Basket of fries were barely warm. Pizza wasn’t cooked enough and it wouldn’t stay together to eat. $ 56 for one beer, one soda, two house wine(it was a 2 for 1 special), a burger, a pizza and fries. I’ve always loved this place but no, not anymore.

No, this isn’t someone that works there or friend of anyone there. I’m a genuine local customer who has stopped there a few times and totally enjoyed my experience. The food was excellent, service was great and my wife and I will definitely go back! The new location was a fantastic move for the establishment and I wish them good luck there.

Awesome pizza. Not a fan of Clifton park but had to stop to feed the kids. They rarely agree on things but all of us are very happy with the pizzas we ordered. Quick service even though the place was busy with football fans.

Terrible. Only went once and it was an awful experience. There are sooooo many better spots for pizza, sandwiches, or Italian all over Clifton park(golden grain, la Bella’s.) the service was terrible. The pizza was terrible. And I ordered a cheese steak to go for someone and he also thought it was terrible. There was marinara on the cheese steak. Who does that?

Ok, we go to a pizza place to have pizza, right? Well I guess their pizza must be good because the place was packed even on a Wednesday night. And half of the customers had pizza. Some had wings. I somehow had a pasta. Turn out it was pretty good. I had their«make your own pasta». I had fettucini with sausage in garlic & olive oil. It came with a big salad plate, and soft bread with butter. I like it. My friend had wings, he said it was so so.

Went there because groupon had a good offer. Ordered the family special which was a 12 cut cheese pizza and 10 wings. The pizza was on the burnt side, and lacked sauce. The wait staff was friendly. I would never eat here again.

I’ve had 3 great but then 3 horrible experiences there I love that the business is completely family owned and run… the food is good… but the 3 negative experiences were the staff… the last time a friend and I showed up there 30 minutes before closing and the women said we couldn’t stay that they were closing. they practically chased us out of there.. all in all, we don’t go there anymore…

Review from my boyfriends friends and family: «We were kicked out because we were too loud.» There was no one else in the restaurant. It was 9 o’clock at night. No reason to kick paying customers out. Next time just ask us to quiet down, not leave. So rude. Terrible food & bad service. Would not recommend, go across the street to Angelo’s bar & grill. They have great food & service. $ 10 burger & draft beer on Mondays!!! Peace out Brick Oven. Deuces*

Food was good but service was a little slow, maybe because they were short staffed? Great place to watch a football game.

The Service is very very very slow. I keep trying to go because their wings and network for sports on many TVs are good but I just can’t take it anymore. Oh and check your bill as I’ve had mine messed up multiple times. Pizza is ok. Do not got near the nachos.

Wood fired pizza… Exciting right? That’s what we thought too! WRONG! We should have been clued in when we had to clean our own table… But hey, we’re easy. There was a serious lack of water in Clifton park which caused an apparent shortage for our particular table. We learned that pizza no longer gets measured by its size in inches, but rather, in slices that could be varying sizes. Yeah… We were confused too… So we asked… And we were left even more confused, as well as angered by being treated like we were morons. The pizza came., which was why we’re were there, and one was very good. The other seemed to have mushrooms that had a hint of raw butt added. We all tried a bite to see if one or two in our party were crazy… But, nope! Something was off… Yikes.

I have always ordered«To-Go» so here it is: I love the white broccoli pizza. The best I have had in this area. I crave this pizza. Wings are pretty hit or miss. Sometimes I order and the sauce is thick and the wings are juicy and I love them. Last time I ordered the sauce was watery and the wings were very dry. I had dip every piece in Blue Cheese to get it down. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The one time I went to have a sit down dinner we changed our minds to a take out order and it went very smoothly. 3 star rating is for the inconsistent wings.

I am giving them a middle of the road rating because that is where they end up after weighing everything out. We ordered dinners to go about a year ago and I remembered it being rather tasty plus it fed us for about 3 different meals. Our visit last night, not at all what I remembered. Service I give a 4 — the staff was right on. Bringing new drinks when one was empty. Clearing the plates and keeping a good flow. Accommodating — I actually give them a 4 for this too. We had 2 groupons between the 7 of us(groups of 5 and 2), the groupon states 1 per table and must be for 4 or more guests. They let us use them both all sitting at the same table. So that was good. Food — a 2 at best. Nothing was fresh, it all tasted processed. We had Eggplant parm, boneless wings(which were chicken tenders) spaghetti & meatballs, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, baked penne and stuffed shells. I think with anything that came with red sauce it was so smothered in it that you could barely taste the food. Best thing on our table was the potato skins appetizer. Those were really good. IF we go again I would say to try the pizza. After all its in their name so I can only assume its good. Definitely will not cost what our bill was for just pizza —

Wow, they went downhill. Waitstaff perform so many tasks that they aren’t attentive to their tables. We were done eating for 15 minutes before the table was cleared and we received the check. Then another 10 minutes waiting for them to come back for the check. Of course they ran my card and came back with receipts in less than a minute. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad. It was so-so, but a bit misleading. I was expecting blue cheese crumbles, but it just came with dressing. Of note, salad greens are straight from a pre-chopped bag. You can tell by the uniform cut and chunks of lettuce core/heart in my salad. My daughter ordered the lasagna. It came in a huge deep bowl, covered(as in submerged) in sauce and cheese. She was less than pleased about that. My other daughter ordered a chicken sandwich that ended up being the best meal ordered. Their mom dined with us. Her steak and cheese was pathetic. More like a toasted sub roll with cheese and an ounce of shaved steak. Between the service and the food quality, Brick House is no longer worth my time and money. I will not be going back. It’s a shame, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but we would have been better off going to one of the many chain restaurants right near it.

We came here for a family birthday and there were 7 of us plus a baby. We were seated in a back corner which was nice since we were out of the hustle and bustle of a lot of the restaurant — useful with the baby. The waitress was patient with us, which is always important with the group of us. We started off with some appetizers. We had the O-Rings, which were pretty typical onion rings, nothing special. We also got some boneless wings, which were tasty. I think we got hot and they were not too hot, but had enough spice. We also ordered the antipasto to share. The appetizers were plenty and we all got a decent share(or at least those who wanted it). A family member is gluten free so she got a pizza with gluten free crust. I didn’t try it, but she said it was quite good and really enjoyed it. Nice to have that option. For the other 6 of us we shared two pizzas and there were plenty of leftovers. The first pizza was the Papa Jim. It was heavy on toppings and almost a bit much for me. The boys at the table loved it though. We also got a marghertia pizza, which was delicious and had heavy garlic. Overall, it was a positive experience and I think we’d come back again.

Having been here under a previous reincarnation, we thought that the new operation might be better having had over a year to settle in. Driving into their parking lot is a bit tricky, and driving out, especially in the dark of night, is almost like finding your way in a maze. Because they were quite busy, we were lucky that a car was pulling out of a space by the front door just as we pulled into the lot. Once inside, we thought we’d have to wait for a table based upon the crowd we saw. We were lucky again, and were immediately seated in a booth. The booths each have their on little TV, so if you don’t get seated facing one of the larger screens showing whatever you’re interested in, you can still find your channel. The menu is large and extensive. We ordered a couple of beers while we decided what we were going to eat. I don’t recall whose IPA we had, but I do remember the Sam Adams was the seasonal Alpine Spring($ 4.50÷16 oz. pint each). Studying the pizza section of the menu left us wondering if the«traditional New York city style» was thicker than the«wood-fired» pizza, and if so, how much thicker? The«wood-fired» pizzas were priced $ 1 more than the same sized«traditional New York city style» pizzas. Mulling over that conundrum, we both decide to order burgers. The burgers are billed as being half-pound, «certified angus beef brand.» The Whiskey Burger($ 9.49) is topped with braised whiskey onions and a choice of melted cheese. The Texas Burger($ 9.99) is topped with bacon, fried onion rings, BBQ sauce, and cheese. Each of these burgers was as described, but neither one seemed to have flavorful meat. The toppings and the bun all had more flavor than the beef. Service was good, our waitress was there when we needed her, and the manager checked on us as we were leaving to see how the meal was and to caution us about driving in the weather which was starting to snow. Maybe we will come back and venture trying a couple of pizzas prepared in each style, but it probably won’t be very soon.
