I bought a groupon for four, made reservations a month in advanced and confirmed the day before. I left my kids with a sitter and very thankful for that. The establishment’s ambience is suitable for adults. The four of us sat at the bar. I found the staff to be helpful and fun. I’m typically a dry wine gal but this place changed my mind about sweets. Their sweet wines were extraordinaire. In fact I bought 6 bottles of sweet. My friend also bought six. I’ve only been to one other wine tasting to compare this experience. That being said. I felt the cheese tray was lacking in size and variety. I would definitely go back and bring friends. After the tasting, we managed to eat dinner on veterans parkway. So I love the location. My last tasting was way out in the middle of nowhere. I like this winery. They found a way to bring to winery to the city. I live the convenience of that. Love the staff and the wines.

Great date night activity! We expected to go in, have a few wine tastes, and leave(1 hour tops) but ended up staying for 2.5 hours because we were having so much fun. The place is in a strip mall but once you walk inside the décor is beautiful(you don’t feel like you’re next to GameStop). We were the only ones there for the 6:30 wine tasting. The wine«connoisseur» was great! She was EXTREMELY knowledgable about the wines, their flavors, pairings, etc. She taught us how to smell the wine, taste the wine, and cool tricks to determine its alcohol content vs. sugar content. The groupon came with 6 tastes but we probably tried about 10 – 11 different ones total. Great experience! Would go back!

Bought a LivingSocial deal for 4 people back in April. Called and made a reservation for Saturday September 14th. Got there, the woman behind the counter claimed she couldn’t find my reservation and suggested I hadn’t actually made one. Not a good start. I invited friends who drove some distance to join us there(hence the reservation). We brought our children with us, and we were told she would«squeeze us in», but we couldn’t sit at the bar with our kids. Of course our kids wouldn’t sit at the bar, duh. Anyway, she looked really worried about us having kids with us, and ultimately, we walked out. We have been to many wineries, and this was no winery… It is a store in a strip mall that sells wine. Don’t bring your kids, and probably better call twice to make your reservation just in case. We won’t be going back, and neither will my friends. Poor customer service, poor attitude, and basically a disappointment on all counts … The woman behind the counter was obviously not an owner of the business, or the entire situation would have been handled more professionally.

My best friend and I participated in a wine tasting Friday night using a Groupon. The Groupon included a cheese tray, 6 tastings, $ 5 off a bottle and a full glass of your choice win. The person leading the tasting let us know that for every bottle you purchase you also get 5 additional tastes. So, we both got to taste 16 wines. We weren’t sure what to expect because it looks like just an average store from the outside, but it is very warm and welcoming when you go in. The lady at the bar helping us was so great. She was very knowledgeable and she was very funny. We liked her so much we invited her to sushi afterward. I highly recommend this place for new wine drinkers as well as seasoned ones.

When I think of a winery, I certainly don’t think of a strip mall. The published location on the Hoosier Wine Trail isn’t the main vineyard but instead a tasting room located in a strip mall in an unassuming commercial business area. Walking inside however, the place begins to feel(and smell) like a winery. A nice bar area(props for the comfy seats) and friendly wine guide, we sampled our way though the free wines(take note: some of the wines have a sampling fee of a buck or two). The wines aren’t bad. most were a tad too sweet for me, but being an aviation junkie, the pictures of planes on the labels were enough to make me break out my wallet. The pictures of the winery in Seymour looked amazing, and my next trip will be there rather than the strip mall wine shop.
