Very happy with customer service and great deal through Unilocal check in of $ 29.75 plus $ 8.25 if you needs certificate for DMV. I came in at 4:10pm and was out by 4:35pm and made it to Roseville DMV by 4:55pm to turn in my smog certificate. Really appreciate the help. Regular price is $ 49.75 or $ 59.75.

Car was too low to actually smog. (Not enough tire contact with dyno) but the guy there was super cool. I’d go back with any of my other cars.

Service: The Tech Robert was friendly and even with some small talk and my asking a few questions, the whole process only took about 15 minutes.
Also told me that on 2000 and newer cars the the DMV no longer requires them to run the car on the dynamometer or put a sensor in the tailpipe.
Now they only need to do a Visual Inspection (quickly eyeballed the gas cap and the entire exhaust system starting at the engine under the hood, then underneath the car all the way to the tailpipe), and a Functional Inspection (hooked the Smog Check Machine to the OBD Connector on the car, typed in some info, ran a printout, and done)!
Location: On Auburn Blvd just off Greenback Ln, across the street from Maita Honda.
Sort of a dumpy looking little shop all by itself on the Southwest end of Desimone Ln., and there were no complementary food or drinks,… but there is lots of parking, and the office was nice and warm on a cold and wet Saturday afternoon.
So, bottom line… Low price, fast friendly service, and convenient location!!!

Great if your not real big on customer service. Having a coupon, my husband and I decided to take the ol’ ticker to get her dreaded bi-​annual smog. The first time we went in he was real welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately we didn’t pass by 7 points. A customer man who was waiting in the lobby told me to check my spark plugs… The smog guy told me spark plugs have nothing to do with emissions. Going home and doing my own research, I found out spark plugs can play a big role in emissions. Replacing my plugs and getting an oil change we took it back in. We had two weeks to fix and repair to take it back in for a free retest. When we got there, we were not welcomed like before. Ok I understand, business can get kinda busy. So we were told 15 minute wait. Yeah… An hour later our car got worked on. My husband got in the car to get the catalytic converter nice and hot before the test. The attendant came up to my car and told my husband to get out. He had a really shitty attitude like he didn’t want to be at work or something. Ear plugs in the whole time and seemed a little oblivious and in his own little world. Reguardless, it passed and we were on our way.

I dropped by the Auburn Blvd location in Sacramento this morning, w/​o an appt. The gentleman who handled my smog check was Robert. Robert was very engaging and knowledgeable about the process. He wasted no time in getting the work done. I truly appreciated his friendliness and professionalism. In addition, I was able to take advantage of an online coupon that saved me some money, too.
