The Drexel at Oakley

I’ve been looking for an apartment in the Hyde Park area and recently toured the Drexel. The staff was great! They made the atmosphere inviting and informative. This was especially the case when I was actually shown the apartment. It definitely had a modern appeal and if I could afford it, I would have moved in immediately. It was very hard to turn down a nice social atmosphere, a pool, workout room, and a location that would suit just about everyone’s tastes. If you can afford to live here, you should. The staff and facilities are great and the apartments are outstanding,

My sister lives in The Drexel apartment complex in Oakley. She likes that the complex has a parking garage that serves to protect both her car and her hair in inclement weather.
The Drexel has a swimming pool and a hot tub that residents can enjoy in the warmer months. My sister says that the social life at The Drexel is highly dependent on the weather; in the summer the complex hosts pool parties and other outdoor events for socializing, in the winter months there is no entertainment. There is a small fitness room in the pool house but it currently only has one working treadmill.
They raise rent every 6 months, even to loyal residents who have lived there for extended periods of time. Currently, the rent stands at $ 1365 a month for a two bedroom, which is approximately 600 feet. The walls between apartments are paper-​thin; I realized this while staying over one Thursday night when the people next door were having a Rock party until almost 3AM. Residents at The Drexel definitely pay for the location; this place is directly across from a shopping center that has two grocery stores, restaurants (including TGI Fridays and Daybreak Caf), a tanning salon, a hardware store, and convenience stores. The apartment complex is also in walking distance of some of Oakley’s best bars, which serves the mostly young residents of The Drexel well.
Service is great here; my sister says that within one day of any complaint being registered the management has sent someone to take care of it.
