Dosha Know specializes in Ayurvedic bodywork, cuisine, and products. Our team consists of licensed massage therapists, certified Reiki practitioners, and certified Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioners.
Most of our clients experience chronic pain/symptoms/disease of some kind. However, our treatments can simply be restorative for those times when you need to hit the reset button!
History
Established in 2008.
Dosha Know started in Los Angeles California as Amy Lynn (founder) began to wrap up her training in her specialized program. She maxed out her one credit card to buy the equipment needed to do Ayurvedic treatments and started seeing clients right away.
Her work has always been fairly integrative. She has worked with energy healers, sound therapists, pshychotherapists, shamans, and psychics. Her treatments are based on intuition and customization.
This is a required trait when she seeks other healers to work for Dosha Know.
Dosha Know relocated to Cincinnati Ohio in January of 2010. Three years later, the business finally has a space to work out of! You can find the Dosha Know crew working from a quaint and humble location in Downtown Cincinnati.
Meet the Business Owner
Amy Lynn W.
Business Owner
Amy Lynn is one of the very few both Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioners (AAP) and Ayurvedic chefs in the United States.
Through her work and apprenticeships with psychics, shamans, Reiki masters, energy healers, nutritionists, herbalists, massage therapists, astrologers, sound healers, and yogis, she settled her focus on the ancient science of Ayurveda upon its complex and all-encompassing nature.
Her mentor, internationally-renowned Ayurvedic practitioner, John Holmstrom, took her on as a student in 2007 and they still continue their work together.
Additionally, Amy Lynn continues to play various roles in the culinary world; she has been creating and executing recipes since a sufficient height to reach the stove and enjoys picking the brains of some of Los Angeles’ and Cincinnati’s most talented chefs.
Therefore, as an Ayurvedic practitioner, her main focuses are cuisine, bodywork, and products. She sees the craft in food, human bodies, and oil infusions.
