Transformula is the best. I have had massages from both Allison and Laura and both are extremely talented. They are always great at listening to my needs and personalizing my massage. They check in with me at various points to make sure the pressure is enough/​not too much, which is great and not intrusive to my relaxation/​therapy at all. I feel like they are both extremely educated about many types of massage techniques based on clients’ needs, rather than just pumping out light-​duty relaxation massage regardless of what’s going on with my body. They really try to fix your issues during your visit and give you proper instructions for follow-​up at-​home care.
I can’t go anywhere else for skincare. Laura is the most knowledgable esthetician I have ever met. Period. She understands my skin and has always made so many recommendations to me about skin care at home. I have never felt any pressure to buy products from her like I have at other «spas» where they are really pushy about products. I have gone to her for facials and peels and my skin always thanks me. I have always felt like Laura is on a never-​ending quest for more knowledge and the best equipment and products for skin and that she really cares about making my skin more healthy, not just making it look good temporarily.

I’ve treated myself to a few massages at Transformula Studios! All of them have been with Allison who is amazing at finding those tight spots and working the knots out. She listens to your comments and reacts with varying pressure!
Booking is easy online! Parking is no problem on street with a lot of non-​metered spots too!

I just now investigated Transformula Studios, which is on my walk home from the bus stop, because I was in need of a massage. Setting up an appointment was easy via phone, and the website offers online booking as well. Laura gave me an absolutely superb massage — truly therapeutic. I’m very picky about massages because I’m (a) cheap and (b) picky in general, and I’ve often been disappointed. In contrast, I cannot recommend Laura highly enough. She was empathetic, knowledgeable, and amazingly skilled. My body thanks her.
