It’s Yogurt Time

This is our default yogurt place because it’s close to our house. Fortunately, it’s a great place. The yogurt is good and they have a good mix of flavors (the sweet avocado is awesome). You pick your cup size, then fill-​it up on your own with whatever flavors and toppings you want. They have a good assortment of toppings. You can literally load up your cup to overflowing.
They also have a pretty interesting food/​grill menu and you can get any of the items (e.g., chili pork, steak, chicken, etc.) as a slider (on fresh pandesol bread) or on top of fries. Everything, we’ve tried has been really tasty. They also have a breakfast menu that looks pretty good, although I’ve never tried anything from it.
The décor is simple and clean, and the two guys who always seem to be working there (the owners?) are super-​friendly.
This place is definitley worth checking out.

Ask for Chef Kevin. He is proud about his menu and has every right to be. I come here for the red rice, friendly staff and guamanian menu. Oh did I mention it is also a yogurt place? Yeppers — you can enjoy a sweet soy and sesame beef bowl and follow-​up with some taro yogo. Some might find this an odd combination, but it grows on ya!

Who doesn’t love frozen yogurt?
Place is alright. Surprisingly, it was empty when I went given that it was a disgustingly hot day. The thing that’s different about this yogurt shop is that you pay for the size you want instead of weighing your yogurt at the end. I got a small which was $ 5.30 + tax. And a small is definitely the perfect size to satisfy your craving while paying a reasonable amount of mula. The sizes range from XXS-​XL. I think you’d be crazy to get a large. It’s way too much in my opinion.
I tried five flavors: Avocado, Mango, Honeydew, Pomegranate, Vanilla Bean. I think my favorite was the honeydew, not too sweet. Pomegranate was good at first, but it got a little too sweet and a bit sour as well. The others are your typical but decent flavors. As for toppings, I’m not gonna lie but there could have been more options. My favorite topping, which I’ve never seen before, was the popping mango boba. Popping boba? Yes, popping boba. When you put it in your mouth and bite down it pops. Kinda like a balloon. I didn’t expect that to happen and, I will say, that I got pretty excited about it. I’d definitely eat a cup full of those just cause it’s so fun to eat.
They recently added real food to their menu with their various lunch meats and breakfast foods. Oddly, they did have Longanisa on their menu. Two guys ordered something that looked so good. I didn’t quite catch what it was but it looked like carne asada fries, drizzled with guacamole sour cream and shredded cheese. It looked so good! But the thing is, I didn’t see carne asada fries on their menu. So I’m stumped as to what it was.
Great location, but they might have some competition with Lollicup right next door. 3 stars cause it was a typical yogurt shop, except for the sticky tables. I didn’t like that.

It gets 2 stars for the yogurt. This was our favorite place when it opened. The quality slowly started to get bad but we ignored it because the location was convenient. The service is terrible. They have taken most of the fruit away and the last straw was when they ran out of lids for the medium sized containers… we asked if we could just switch our yogurt to the larger container so we could have a lid. Mind you we were already ready to check out so we weren’t asking for more yogurt just a large container for a medium yogurt. They refused. We left and had a mess in the car after. Never going back.

So I wanted to try another spot aside from the usual frozen yogurt places I always go to. This place is self-​serve, but you actually pay for the cup you want according to its size first, instead of paying for it at the end according to its weight. They encourage you to fill up your cup as much as possible. They have some pretty good flavors, and I highly recommend the avocado cream one… yummmm. The red velvet one is also good and non-​fat. They have a few chocolate ones that are non-​fat as well. Great choices for those of us who are watching our figure =)
The toppings are pretty good, you can never go wrong as long as you have mochi. However, the crushed cookie toppings taste a little stale. But whatever, what do you expect, it is just sitting there in open air. They also mentioned that they are soon having fusion food… like asian tacos and such…

Pick a cup, fill it up! Best motto ever!

They have set prices for cup size and they let you load it up to the fullest. They don’t charge you per weight so you get a sweet deal. I recommend just filling up their «small» (it costs $ 4.00) and loading it. Before, if you had weighed it, the price of filling up the small could easily top $ 7.00. Go here for your yogurt. And it’s really good too!

When I first walked in, I was wondering, «Where are the cups?» Then, the manager said, «We are in a different management.» Basically, it is the same thing, but you purchase the cup size first– mini, extra small, small, medium, and large. Then, you fill whatever toppings you want. It is not by ounces anymore. It is based on the price of the cup.
I read outside their window that they provide wi-​fi, but I didn’t try it out. They have a chess/​checker board game, but they are missing chess pieces. My boyfriend’s siblings were playing chess with some of the checker pieces. In all honesty, I think the checker pieces are connect four pieces because it said, «MB» on the black and red pieces, but I guess they are all the same.
I give this place more like a three and a half stars. This place is very clean and it has a television to entertain customers. Also, if you ate an atomic wing at wingstop prior to coming here, this place will relieve your fiery mouth.

Love the frozen yogurt and the fresh toppings, it just takes a while to get the right flavor combos together…
Be careful with the Granny Smith Apple or the Peppermint…
I may be a little skeptical, but when everything says ‘non-​fat’ but is super creamy and tasty, how does that happen?!? I feel like the episode of Seinfeld where everyone was eating the non-​fat frozen yogurt and getting FAT… I guess that we’ll see in a couple of months?

They have gelato frozen yogurt which is different from the traditional frozen yogurts you get at Pinkberry and Yogurtland. The texture is rich and creamy and is best described as a hybrid of yogurt and gelato. Very thick and gelato-​like.
They have interesting flavors. Peanut butter and Nutella was perfection. 35 cents an ounce (cheaper if you have a student id). A nice change from the light and refreshing taste I am used to getting at Yogurtland.
Toppings sucks. Nothing much to choose from. Their fruits are not fresh. Step up the game please.

Taro /​ube rocks with chocolate. Punch card & rotation of flavors, keeps me coming back.

This is my favorite yogurt place because the flavors change all the time!
I love the cookies n’ cream and the peanut butter flavors. My husband is a big fan of the Ghiradeli chocolate. There are lots of toppings to chose from as well.
The interior is okay and they play pop music, but we usually eat outside if we don’t take our yogurt home.
The funnel cake looks really good, but I haven’t had it yet.
Be sure to get a Yogurt Time punch card! I think it’s your 11^th yogurt is $ 3 off. They also offer a military discount which is a big plus for me.

I’ve been in some Fro-​Yo spots and I am sorry to say that this is so far the worst one. The store has a kind of a Starbucks look to it, to enjoy your just purchased product, and a friendly service.
The challenge is within the product and the toppings, I was disappointed as I took my first bite. I guess if the product was better, this could be a great spot. The frozen yogurt has a Ice-​cream texture (too thick). Some of the toppings gave me the idea that they’ve been out there for a while.
You don’t have to get your ‘traditional’ Fro-​Yo here, you can go for the smoothie or funnel cake, but personally I would probably pass and go elsewhere.

I’m here at It’s Yogurt Time for a little concert that my friend is holding and this place is sooo cute. Very modern décor (the plastic seats feel like they’re going to fall apart but it’s a yogurt place. I ain’t complaining. They sell funnel cake for $ 3.25 and their list of yogurt isn’t big (that’s good. think in-​n-​out, simple and precise, to the point). And it’s located right next to the lollicup.
I had the oreo cookie with the ghiradeli chocolate. so good. overall really good!

Okay so I finally tried the funnel cake with strawberry yogurt with mochi, almond nuts, cheesecake chunks and a lil bit of strawberry., IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOODDDDD!!! I can’t believe it took me this long to try it out. Hah. If anyone who haven’t tried it, try it coz it is sooooo good.
If anyone who works there is reading this PLEASE PUT BACK THE NY CHEESECAKE and Keep the strawberry hehe its good when there together. Its my old time fav and I miss it. plus I’ve been there acouple of times already hoping its there but no luck so I just buy funnel cake so I don’t feel stupid being in there w.o. purchasing né thing. Haha. Yes I have a guilt mode. If u put the cheescake please let me know somehow heh.
Oh putting this out for yogurt time. Their having acoustic band tonight feb. 20 I think around 6 to 9. Its free so go there and enjoy the music with friends and family. Plus they’ll have corn dogs so that’s pretty new to try. I’m not sure how much but it should be good since everything they have is good. =).

I’m giving them the star I originally took away because they now sell FUNNEL CAKE for $ 3.25. omg omg.
Also, when I came back they had 2 more games (battleship and scrabble!) and more unique flavors. Vanilla cake batter and now n later green apple tart!

My kiddo and I had frozen yogurt from here as our dinner. I love their flavors! I had vanilla and plain yogurt with cheesecake bits and fruit… YUM! Kiddo had chocolate and pistachio yogurt with granola and almonds… also YUM! Together we paid about $ 7.00 which is fine for me because I would rather eat something healthy than eat the fast food right across the way from this place. So, YAY TO HEALTHY!

I’ve tried this place a few times and had a good experiences. The multitude of self-​serve yogurt flavors change often so for those wanting to try something new or different on their next visit have an opportunity to do so. The dry toppings are up to par with other places and but the fresh fruit selections are indeed that, fresh. Unlike other places i’ve tried, this place does not put out a full bin of fresh toppings. By doing that, the turn-​over is high and therefore the toppings remain fresh and high quality.
The smoothies are a nice touch for variety and are refreshing. Seating and parking have not been a problem. Free WiFi is a plus if you plan on studying there or just hanging out.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for good frozen yogurt at a reasonable price in a chill environment.

My favorite place about this place has to be the student discount. So very cheap, seriously. It has the self-​serve machines, tons of toppings, and nice interior.
Its a cool place to hang out because it has a nice atmosphere and it has WiFi connection.
The thing about this place is that it’s very «high school.» Watch out for silly high school students trying to be cool by spending their afternoon at a froyo shop.

It’s like the a funky Starbucks for frozen yogurt, or that’s how I felt like when I walked into the newly opened store. The furniture is minimal, the ceilings are high and the walls are covered with dark paint which gives it a very chill vibe.
Besides the Golden Spoon, I’ve never tried any of the yogurt joints that seem to be popping up all over San Diego and I have to say I like ‘Yogurt Time’ more. Their flavors are not overly sweet.
They give you two choices in cup sizes, 16 oz or 24 oz, and about 10 different flavors. I got the green tea and fancy french vanilla in the 16oz. cup with granola, roasted almonds and mandarin oranges which came out to be $ 2.10. With all the different toppings and fresh fruit, there’s a very good chance to get carried away having to pay $ 10 dollars for yogurt, so top your yogurt with caution.
It’s a great place for high school students or community college students to hang out after school/​class, which could also be a bad things for those who don’t attend either one. I came here after work and was waiting in line behind two loud high school girls who were both trying to have a conversation with the person on the other end of the line at the same time going ‘omg omg’ *giggle*. In such a quiet place, it was hard to tune out their obnoxious conversation.
Overall I would go here again, only if it’s not swarming with loud and rowdy high school students.
