I have a 2005 Acura RSX, I require maintenance here and there but I would never go to any other place to get my car serviced. Sham and Jay truly take care of their people and genuinely want to leave you satisfied. Car maintenance has always intimidated me until I came here. I completely trust both Sham and Jay. I really enjoy coming here to get my car fixed. They make it so easy. Every time I’ve been here I got my car back the same day. They always keep you updated on the status of your car and how much everything costs too so you’re never kept in the dark.

I used Jay and Sham and the rest of the team at Autotechnik for about 4 years and I have to say that their customer service and their work is first rate! It is hard to find a honest and trustworthy mechanic but Autotechnik is all that and more. Aside from routine oil changes, Autotechnik has done work on my car’s brakes, replaced my car’s water pump, and replaced my car’s coolant temperature sensor. They have a lot of customers everyday but Jay and Sham are always willing to answer questions. Make sure you call ahead to schedule an appointment because their schedule fills up fast!
Ill be taking my car in again soon for a motor oil leak and I am sure there wont be any trouble.

My Mercedes ML 350 was stalling without an engine light on. I brought it to another auto service shop, they thought the problem was the fuel pump which they replaced. A day after, it didn’t solve the problem. A friend of mine recommended I bring my car to Auto Technik. Jay took the time to drive my car to try to recreate the problem. It didn’t stall on him but by just driving it he suspected a sensor problem. He was right, the problem was fixed. I will bring my car to Auto Technik from now on.

First time here and I can honestly say I will be coming back for any future maintenance. I had been looking for a good honest mechanic and I have found it. Auto Technik took my car in within minutes of showing up. One of the managers «Jay» talked to me like we had known each other for years and explained everything to me in terms any regular non mechanic (like myself) could understand. My issue was a simple fix, with parts I had bought and attempted to install myself but failed miserably. Jay and Jarrad took great care in resolving my issue without any haggling of unnecessary work. They used the same parts I had installed, luckily because they were still in working order, but gave me the option to use the warranty the parts still had at AutoZone. I only paid for the diagnostic because the issue was an easy fix.
This is the honest and trustworthy mechanic you and I have been looking for. They won’t beat around the bush or try to sell you unnecessary parts like some big name corporate businesses do. If your car is past manufacturer warranty date, then bring your car down here and let the helpful mechanics take care of you. Plus, they are AAA approved and offer discounts for current members.

Best owner and great mechanics. Definitely recommend my friends to brings their car here to auto Technik Carcare and the best thing is you also can bring your own oil and filter and they will charge for $ 10 for labor only. Not bad

I’m on vacation and my car started acting up I called AAA and they recommended to tell my car to these guys. It was on a Saturday at about noon when I got there and the guy said they close at 3:30pm. I let them know I planned on driving home the next morning at 2 AM and I really needed my car done ASAP. They were so nice and offered to stay late if needed in order to take care of my car. Very happy to have had these guys help me out!

Best service around! Every time I come here they fix whatever is wrong with my vehicles before I can blink. Always very helpful and courteous.

My girlfriends car was having weird noises beneath the car. It sounded like something was wrong with the exhaust pipe. Since her vehicle is a 2006, I figured, we may have to change or repair the exhaust pipe, since it would rattle everytime we drive the vehicle, which was a concern. So we took it in to Jays, left it there for a couple of hours. Later on, he calls me, and says… we have good news. Come on down, and bring me a 6 pack of beers. I said, ok, sure why not. So we drive down there to pick up her car, and expecting a bill, also with our beers, I was thinking, maybe he will give me a discount cause I’m bringing him beer.
So we got there, he hands us the keys, and told us to try and start the car. Voila… no more noise. I asked, what you do? He said, the piece of rubber connecting and stabilizing the exhaust pipe was old and lose, he just had to replace the piece of rubber with a new one. He said the rubber is like less than $ 10. So don’t worry about it.
So I asked, how much do we owe you? He took my beers from my hand, and said, that’s it, your good to go. I was like… what? Are you sure. 0₀… free of charge service?
He said, well it’s not free bra, you brought me beers…

Jay and Sham are the best there is! I can’t tell you how many jams they have gotten me out of! They are fair and truly honest! All of the reviews are true about them being great guys! I was living out of state for a while and would often call for pricing advice. They always have time to answer questions are very flexible with scheduling appointments for maintenance and oil changes!
They take the time and care to make sure your car leaves in better shape while not trying to upsell with needless repairs! For instance a previous owner had replaced our oil cap with a shotty substitute. Any other place would be quick to make us spend the 200 bucks to replace it, but not Jay! He said he replaced it himself to make sure it didn’t get tightened to much and fall out! They are great guys and won’t stear you wrong!

I came here after reading all the reviews on Unilocal.I called a couple of shops in the area to get a price quote on replacing my engine valve cover gasket. The dealer wanted to charge me over $ 400. Even though Auto Technik Carcare was not the cheapest, I still decided to go to them based on the other reviews on Unilocal.Boy am I glad I did!!! 2 hours after I signed the work order for them to replace my engine valve cover gasket, they called & informed me that I did not need to replace my gasket. All I needed was a new engine oil filler cap that cost 13 bucks. I could not believe it!!! These guys are not only professional & knowledgable but also HONEST!!! I still can’t believe it… amazing!!! This is my new go to shop for all my cars.

Last minute errand… oil change.
They are usually by appointment only but I called close to 5pm same day and Sam said he could fit me in. It was my first time here and he already started treating me like I’ve been going there for awhile. I had a few minor concerns such as brake pads and he checked it out as well as a few other things without extra charging me. He listed everything recommended on the receipt giving me what I feel like was his best honest opinion. I just got a new car so my oil changes are covered for awhile but I’ll definitely go there again for anything else.

*****Let me tell you a story*****
once upon a time my car made this banshee /​bat from hell sound when i backed it out of my driveway. Thinking it couldn’t be that bad I moved it a few more inches. The sound was so loud and deafening that the neighbors woke up and ran outside!!!
Asking if someone died they all told me to NOT move that car again. So I called my buddy who has AAA platinum and begged him to tow my car 50+ miles to Chino to Jay. He called me crazy and stated he didn’t want to waste 1 of his unlimited tows on something like this. I told him I would give him $ 100 bucks if he obliged but at that point he acquiesced since he could tell how desperate I was and therefore could only imagine how bad the BMW was.
Fast forward a few hours and the car is towed on a flat bad (tow truck driver had me move the car a few inches and said DAMM your screwed that’s going to be expensive) all the way from Los Angeles to Chino.
Jay meets me in the front and I tell him the story. He calmly waits for the car to be lowered and says I will take it around the block. I scream NOOOO but hes already moving it a few inches and then stops, gets out of the car and frowns.
I take this to mean that its going to be over the $$$ I was expecting. I mean if you heard the sound you would have sworn the car was about to rip itself to pieces or explode. I mean any person would have cried knowing that it would have been better if their car got stolen rather than having to pony up so much money for something that just appeared out of no where.
5 minutes later he comes back to me and says try it now.
LIKE VOODOO MAGIC!!! DEATH SCREAM GONE!!! CAR DOESNT SHAKE!!!
So feeling really embarrassed at this point I ask how the hell did he fix it?
The answer was that a 1 in a Million chance, a piece of jagged metal jumped in between the caliper and brake pad and lodged itself into the mechanism which caused the death scream and vibrations.
I asked him how much and he laughed and told me to have a great day looks like you were stressed enough.
10 STARS!!!
I mean with no hesitation was I ready to pay over $ 2000+, but honest and caring is exactly what that is. That’s the reason why I had a car towed past hundreds if not thousands of other shops to get to Jay and Sham.
The last honest and caring auto shop that I have had the utmost privilege of being a customer!!!

I worked at dealership for most of my life and I NEVER took my own car to our own service lane because they are so inherently crooked. Let me educate you on how it works at a dealership.
The service writer is a sales person not a mechanic! Let me say that again the person helping you can’t even change their own oil or tire. They are paid on a commission based on the overall ticker repair amount. That’s why they are always nicer to you when you spend more money rather than when you come in for warranty repairs or just an oil change.
Luckily when you come to auto technik the writer IS the master certified mechanic.

VW dealership was going to charge me $ 700 for my 40K mileage service!

This place lies to its customers. When we went in for steering pump, we were told it was genuine Mercedes parts. Upon inspection by another mechanic, we were told it was aftermarket. Also, when we needed an oil sensor replacement, we were told it was replaced with a completely new one. You know what they did, they just used glue to keep it together. The nerve of these people. They lie and charge you a fortune for shitty parts. Don’t come here. We won’t ever again.

I waited and waited to come across a good mechanic in my area and BAM! I had a flat tire (sad face). I had no choice but to choose among all the shops in Chino, CA. Auto Technik has good reviews and so I had to give them a try. I was treated nicely, proffecionally and with respect. Not only that, I was given a fair (low) comfortable price for the tire repair.
Today they worked on my wife’s Honda and again, I feel very confident about Auto Technike. The brake job was affordable and they patched a tire at no cost! I’m definitely making this shop my mechanic shop.

You know as well as I do that finding a good, reliable, and honest mechanic is about as rare as a Bigfoot sighting. After we bought my wife’s used 2003 BMW, I was pretty scared to take it anywhere. found a place in Pomona that came highly recommended and walked out of there $ 1,800 lighter for a check engine light issue. I thought I’d have to sell the car.
Thank goodness the AAA tow guy recommended Auto Technik! We got the car there and talked to Jay (really nice guy) who walked me through what they do and explained the charges in a clear and easy-​to-​understand manner. I was prepared to dish out between $ 700 to $ 800 bucks for the repair (since a friend told that every time you take a BMW in for service, bring a stack of $ 500 bills with you).
Jay and the crew were able to sort out the problem, I didn’t need any parts, and walked out of there for only $ 315. I’m sure, they could have made up something to add to the bill … but they didn’t. He told me about a couple of small problems that might need my attention in the future, but wasn’t pushy or trying to use a «scare tactic» on me.
Bottom line is this is my repair shop from now on. I’m kind of afraid to tell people about it, because I don’t want them to get too busy so they have to scheduled my cart six months out. But when you find a decent, honest, trust-​worthy mechanic who really is looking out for your best interest, you are obligated to let others know.
I just wish Unilocal had a 10-​star rating, because this place deserves it.
