I have no idea what the person below is talking about when saying Dr Liu has bad bedside manner or that he doesn’t know how to deal with issues. My son got really sick last year and his pediatrician told me he had a cold. He also told me he had cold-induced asthma and gave me albuterol to use with a nebulizer every 4 hours. My son was not getting better and ended up taking him to the ER. Come to find out, my son had pneumonia, which the pediatrician failed to catch. I was told to follow up in 2 days with pediatrician and I decided I was going to do the follow up with someone else. I found Dr Liu here and made an appt. His office staff was more than helpful and while I did have to wait awhile, it was worth it. Dr. Liu had very good bedside manner since my son was already nervous having been through so many drs. He answered all my questions, put my son on 2 different antibiotics to help with his pneumonia and diagnosed him with asthma(not cold induced) and wondered why no one had officially diagnosed him with asthma before(my son is 6). He saved my son, period. I used to work at a pediatrician’s office years ago and am very picky about Drs. If he had terrible bedside manner or seemed inexperienced, my son would not be his patient.

LOVE this office and so does my daughter. Only thing that sucks is the wait time! I understand that the wait time is so long though, because he really does take time to answer any questions and address any concerns that you might have. I came to Dr. Liu for a second opinion on my daughter snoring really loud and struggling to breathe in her sleep. He right away noticed a problem with her tonsils being so large that our first opinion failed to address. He sent us to a specialists and my baby just had her tonsils removed last week. Fortunately, his office accepts medi-cal and IEHP. The office staff is really great with helping assist in the process of getting a referral and dealing with the insurance and what not. They always try their best to get my daughter in as soon as they can when she is sick. They really helped me through the process and with her having surgery. I would recommend this office to anyone! Not to mention, The office is beautiful!

If you have a child with special needs, you are now warned not to bring your child here. My daughter has a rare condition and we been a patient for almost 3 years. It seems long but I think the ONLY times she truly is seen by him was when she has a typical cold. She is mainly followed by specialists at Children Hospital of OC. At first he seemed quite pleasant but as things get complicated or should I say as my daughter became more severe, anything from helping me to understand her MRI report to just prescribing antibiotics is differcult to deal with him. On one occasion I asked him details, meaning explain to me what her MRI report means. His reaction in my daughter nurse present in which she even felt he had a cocky demeanor was, «it’s pretty self explanatory». Really!?! I am not a doctor, that is why I am here asking you! I had to go back and contact her doctors out at Choc to explain it to me. This is not ok! You might be an acceptable doctor dealing with kids whom doesn’t have a severe disorder like mine or any, but you need to seriously look into your bedside manner. The only person that helped me through my terrible ordeal was his nurse Roxanne. She is great and if you want anything done, go to her! Maybe you should learn from her! Once we filed a complaint to my daughter insurance, he starts to somewhat act decent but it was pretty obvious he understand that I am not ok dealing with someone like that. I don’t have the time nor energy to deal with someone whom acts like he just graduated from medical school.

Dr. Liu is my son’s pediatrician. We’ve seen him 2 times already and he’s pretty nice and good with kids. We are first time parents to a 2 month old and he takes time to answer our questions and doesn’t rush through appointments. That being said however, he has tons of patients and the wait time is always really long lol. Oh well, it comes with the territory of being a good pediatrician I guess :) They just moved to a new office and everything is clean and nice and the staff is very friendly. If you live in the Chino Hills area I recommend him as a pediatrician, just get ready for the long wait!

My daughter has been with Dr. Liu since birth. She’s now 12 years old. Love him. Super accommodating office, always able to get my kids in if they’re sick. I have family that drives from Bakersfield to bring their kids here because we trust him that much. Highly recommended!!! FYI the office has moved to a new location 15944 Los Serranos Country Club Drive, Chino Hills, CA. Love the new location

Dr. Liu is WONDERFUL! He gives a thorough answer to every question we have. He respects our decision to have a different vaccine schedule. He and his colleague are on call during non-business hours which has been very helpful for us. He is very kind, caring, and humble pediatrician. I highly recommend him. The reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is because of the wait. I’ve always had an appointment and yet I’ve never been seen on time. I usually get called in 30 – 45 mins AFTER my scheduled appointment. After the nurse checks vitals, it’s about another 15 – 20 mins until Dr. Liu walks in. I really wish doctors’ offices would stop scheduling so many people at once AND that people would arrive on time.

Dr. Liu is excellent with kids and is really down-to-earth. A really nice guy who cares about your kids’ well-being! He is really accessible even in the after hours.
