916SKIN – Acne Skin & Wellness Clinic

I’ve been a client of Tajas for almost a year now. I started seeing her after a close friend scheduled me an appointment. This friend knew about the frustration I had with my skin. I was so relieved and excited to get started. My first appointment was great. Taja sat me down and talked to me about my skin issues, habits, health and goals. She taught me about the program she uses and explained that it wasn’t going to be an over night fix but that we’d work together to get the skin I wanted. After my first appointment I spent some months coming in every two weeks. Once my skin cleared up, I reached my maintenance period.
I now go in every 4 weeks. Taja treats my skin, talks to be about how things are going and adjusts my products (if necessary) to keep me on track. I look forward to my treatments and love her product line. She has taught me so much about how to care for my skin and get the results I desire. She’s extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgable. I have been struggling with acne since the age of twelve. I have been to the dermatologist a couple times, and that helped minimally, but taking pills for the rest of my life, was not something I thought sounded healthy or like anything I’d wanted to do. So about a year later, (about 2.5 months ago), I decided it was time to try something new.

My husband and I came for the initial consultation, and after talking to her and finding out more details, it still sounded like what we wanted to do. So right afterwards, I started my first acne treatment. From then on, I continued doing the treatments.
I was extremely impressed by the personal feel of the appointments. There weren’t people walking in and out of the door, because her acne clinic is by appointment only. She wasn’t in a rush, like I felt when I visited the dermatologist. She gave you the time that you deserved. Her clinic has such a wonderful ambiance, and is very relaxing.
She also personalizes your acne plan. She tests serums on your skin, to see what your skin responds best to, or what it is irritated by, and then you buy the products that work best for you. I love how it wasn’t a one-​product-​works-​for-​all approach.
So you’re probably wondering… how does my skin look after all my treatments? It has greatly improved. I had tons of inflammation, and acne. My face had a bumpy texture. My texture is now smooth. My redness was starting to go away. My relatives saw a great difference when I visited them, and complimented me on how nice my skin looked. That was a compliment I have never received before, so that was nice to hear. Unfortunately, I had to stop the treatments, because I couldn’t afford it anymore. (I’m a college student.)
Overall, I definitely recommend 916. Tatja is great. She will make your skin great too.

At 916 Acne, Skin & Wellness Studio I received quite the pampering! I was given a gift certificate for a foot reflexology appointment and that is what brought me into the studio.
From the moment you walk into the studio, you can tell you are going to have a top notch spa experience. The environment is very calming and Tatja is there to greet you with a warm smile. The treatment room is beautiful and the linens on the massage table are very plush. I immediately was able to relax and enjoy myself.
Since I have never had a foot reflexology treatment before, I asked Tatja to explain the steps. She did an excellent job informing me of the science behind the pressure points and how she learned her trade. You can tell she is sincerely passionate about her work. She also provided a great combination of information and quiet time so I can take a tiny snooze from all the relaxing rubbing.
Hours after the treatment I am still feeling relaxed and can definitely feel a difference in my feet. I highly recommending treating yourself to a foot reflexology treatment at 916 Acne, Skin & Wellness Studio!
