Specialties
I am an Adanced CranioSacral and Acupressure Therapist with special training in Pediatrics and Pre– and Post-Natal Care. My hands-on training exceeds 2000 hours and I have 18 yrs of experience so that I can help people connect deeply with their bodies to release pain, balance moods and increase energy. I was on the faculty of the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley for 10 years, and I am a certified CST Teaching Assistant with the Upledger Institute.
My hands-on style is firm and clear, but also gentle and sensitive to your body and your needs.
I am a certified Nutrition Consultant, with over 1000 hours of training and 15 years of working with clients. I have a focus on women’s health and chronic pain. I have been on the faculty of Bauman College for 6 yrs.
When you come for a nutrition or health coaching session, I listen to your health concerns, take a thorough intake of your history, review forms that you complete, as well as labwork, and we discuss your health goals. You leave with specific suggestions to implement right away as well as an overall plan.
My nutrition approach is holistic. I pay attention to many major systems in my clients: blood sugar balancing, adrenal/stress response, neurotransmitter/mood balance as well as digestive and metabolic strength. My work is complimentary to your doctor’s treatment plan.
My style is not to be pushy or insistent. I listen without judgment, and work co-creatively with you to overcome blocks and create lasting change.

Business Owner
Since I was a child I had an instinctive sense about health and rescued traumatized baby rabbits and injured birds. I struggled with depression as a teen and to help myself I studied yoga and meditation and wrote a nutrition plan for myself when I was 13. The idea that plants held secrets of healing fascinated me so as an adult I studied herbalism with Susan Weed in Woodstock, NY. During a 10 year period of intensive self reflection while living in meditation centers in New York, Boston and India I felt the urge to support the health and wellbeing of other people so that their inner light could shine. I studied Asian Bodywork Therapy at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute, and Holistic Nutrition at Bauman College.
