Zeglio offers great-​looking bespoke clothing at a very reasonable price point. I have been consistently thrilled with the quality of the clothing I have purchased, which includes custom sport coats, suits, and shirts. Jake and John are always available to provide valuable insight on fabric selection and design ideas. I highly recommend Zeglio.

I had two suits made here a few years ago and also just recently had my wedding suit made here. It was absolutely perfect. Jake and John helped explain my options and made great recommendations for materials and styles. Really great place for sweet custom dress clothing, including custom shirts.
They also have great custom shirting, shoes, and ties.

I first stopped by Zeglio’s Lakeview location and worked with Richard to select a custom suit style, fabrics, and review a variety of options to detail the final suit. Richard did a great job helping me to select an appropriate color and comfortable fabric. I followed up later with John for a fitting, which was conducted swiftly and professionally.
I had my suit a few weeks later, along with a shirt that I ordered. There was no need to alter anything — the shirt, jacket, and pant all fit perfectly upon delivery. John also helped me select a tie and pocket handkerchief to compliment. The suit looked great and my fiancée (now wife) thought it looked fantastic in our wedding. Thanks Zeglio for creating a beautiful suit for me and finishing it ahead of schedule for my wedding!

Would definitely recommend Zeglio if you’re looking for custom menswear. Have shopped at both their Broadway and Dearborn locations and John has been very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. It’s great that for the price of good off-​the-​rack clothing, you can get custom menswear (definitely fits and looks better than anything bought in standard sizes). Staff are great in that you can either be very specific with a cloth and style you want them to make, or just go in and have them recommend choices for your next outfit. Thanks guys!

I was looking into a custom tailor shop for my little brother’s graduation gift. When I walked into Zeglio Custom Clothiers, I was amazed by the comfortable John and Jake worked with me and my brother through the process shows an amazing level of expertise. They were very professional and customer service oriented. Great place and I will continue to come back.

I went to Zeglio back in January to get fitted for a custom tux. I worked with John who was very knowledgeable about fabrics, fit, and very detailed. Between selecting fabric, getting measured and selecting my shirt design, The fitting took about 45 min. Six weeks later I had the tux of, y dreams in hand. I thought that we would have to make some adjustments to the fit but it was perfect!
I did have one concern: because I looked so damn good I was afraid I’d take some of the attention away from my bride! My wedding was in March and people still ask me about my tux and who designed it three months later. I keep sending them Zeglio’s way because I know they’ll be taken care of.
After working with them I find it hard to go back to off the rack suits. There’s Nothing like having something made for you with your personality and lifestyle in mind. Make sure you have your money ready, though. Custom ain’t cheap ($ 750 — $ 1300 is the normal range). however, it’s not as expensive as bespoke ($ 4000 — $ 10,000).
All in all, it was a great experience, my wife was happy, and I’ll be back soon!

I have to agree with my personal good friend Rick who responded below. Wonderful experience. Got a custom suit made here and the only downside to this is that I will now be hooked on getting suits from here. Perfect fit, great service quick turn around time. John was always very responsive and helpful. Also Brandon who works at the Loop location is freidnly, helpful and a great rep for the company. I recommend going to Zeglio if you are looking for a suit. blows «off the rack» suits out of the water.

Pardon the 90’s reference, but this place is the bomb. What an investment! I decided to get a custom suit for my wedding in June rather than a tux at a rental shop because I also wated to have a suit to wear for years to come. This was my first experience in getting a custom suit so I was unfamiliar with the process, etc. Before going to Zeglio, I did what every savvy shopper does these days and that was Google every site, local and online. I had a few friends tell me about Indochino but I wanted to be able to go in, ask my questions, have a «professional» measure me rather than watch a video on how to do it myself and deal with someone via email. Well, after much surfing and pricing, it came down to Zeglio. Jon the owner, was great. He made his recommendations: how I could mix and match suits and shirts, etc.
After picking out my fabric, which is daunting task given the plethora of fabrics to choose, I went with a gray. It also included three shirts totaling around $ 1100.
After about a month, my suit was ready. I went and tried it on and OMg! I can’t wait to wear this.
I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to build my next one.

Zeglio’s lived up to our expectations and more! This was our first custom suit experience. The suit was for my son’s prom. My son is fashion forward & creative & has an exact vision in his head about the type of look he wants. Both of us are fastidious. We did not shop around & chose Zeglio’s because it looked reputable & professional and it was convenient but I’m glad we did. We will definitely return & recommend the store to others. The owner John Park made us feel welcome and added a personalized touch to our experience. He was down to earth and unpretentious. He was extremely patient, kind, and very helpful but so is the rest of his staff. He really wants to make sure his clients get what they are requesting. I did feel slightly overcharged but again this was our first time and we have had no experience in this area.
John did all the measuring and consultation. He knows his suit design and fabrics and made sorting through the many choices easy. They had a ton of fabric selections although we found the choices in the colors we wanted limited. The tuxedo jacket lining choices are fabulous! John took detailed, and near perfect measurements. I say near perfect because my son wanted a tighter fit than I think John felt comfortable doing in terms of function and as a result may have been cautious and smart in this area by affording for a little slack just in case. We started the process about 4 weeks before the event. Our first fitting was 2 weeks after being measured. The final fitting was 2 days before the event. Zeglio’s is flexible and willing to work with you.
We ordered 1 Tuxedo Jacket maroon with black shawl lapel; 1 Tuxedo Shirt in ivory; 1 Pair of dropped crotch Dress Slacks in grey. We got a beautifully constructed, high quality tuxedo shirt. The dress slacks were a total disaster initially. Some due to miscommunication and unorthodox nature of designing we were requesting. We wanted a dropped crotch pant but didn’t know how to communicate the execution. Probably should have requested a crotchless dropped crotch pant, i.e., no front/​back seam. After the pants came back, this is what John had concluded when the pants did not turn out as we had hoped. John even offered to give us our money back because he felt that he may be unable to execute what we wanted to our satisfaction but we stuck with it. We went back to the drawing board and were able to come up with a nice compromise, probably even better that what we initially wanted, that satisfied both my son’s taste and garment function and we were extremely pleased. We got a slim fit pant and Zeglio nailed it! John was careful to ensure that we were all on the same page this time around and the pants turned out to be phenomenal. My son even wore the pants again for his graduation day. We also love the fit and craftsmanship of the tuxedo jacket. Some details we would have liked to see were not incorporated but are very minor. For example, we wanted maroon for the tuxedo jacket but the fabric choices in this color scheme and the hue we wanted were very limited which in turn forced us to settle on a less desirable fabric which I think affected the outcome slightly. We asked for slanted pockets and got them but not at the degree angle we initially wanted. We asked for black stitching thinking it would give a nice contrast for the entire jacket and a detailed outline for pockets not realizing that there is no top stitching on the pockets. The contrast is extremely subtle and we should have asked for some kind of nice top stitching in places to make this feature more pronounced as we envisioned. We also wanted a wider lapel. Much of this I feel was due to miscommunication and our inexperience with the process.
Tips:
Be able to clearly relay your vision. Have at least SOME sense in sewing terms of what you want beforehand and how garments might be constructed to realize your concept down to details in inches, stitching, and degree of angles for pockets.
Look at sample suits they have on display to understand how their garments are made and to explain what you want.
Go over the fine details, especially for those special features you requested, after you have been measured and before you leave the store.
Start the process no less than 2 months ahead of your event to allow for any necessary tailoring and adjustments or even redo. Remember there are other clients and all work is sent out, even tailoring.
Measurements and details are taken at the store but products are crafted in Korea and tailored elsewhere which may affect wriggle room with creative/​design control and timeframe.

I had a couple of custom shirts and suits made for my grooms men. John pays attention to detail and understands his clients needs. He is a great tailor. He is timely in every sense of the word and a true professional. I’ll recommend him to everyone.

My friends recommended this place and it was my first custom suiting experience. The prices and the selection were great, but most importantly the customer service was fantastic. It had luxury all over it but without the attitude which is what I feared the most, besides the price. I worked with the owner, John Park, exclusively and he was extremely helpful in putting together my exact preferences.
Please keep in mind you’ll need to be patient. They outsource the tailoring and it takes days with each try on to make any adjustments. Each fitting is an opportunity to make sure the suit is exactly what you want before you take it home. It may take several fittings but I’m hooked. I’ll definitely be going back for more.

I am getting married in almost two months and the guys are all wearing black suits as opposed to tuxes. I have a black suit off the rack and the thought of wearing it at the wedding didn’t sit well with me. I shopped around at the retail shops for a nice-​fitting suit that didn’t look cheap. All that I found that were even close were 700‑1200 bucks. So I looked into a custom tailored suit and found Vengna (aka Zeglio). I went in and was on the fence, but after talking to John Park, the owner, I was convinced. I was measured thoroughly and tried on a few coats and pants. Pointed out cautionary areas and other that I liked. Picked a rad lining and specific types of pockets for the coat and pants. Completely custom.
Three weeks later I get a call from John and he said the suit is in. I try it on and I feel like I should be on the cover of a GQ magazine — one no one would buy, for obvious reasons — but it feels that good. And the best part, cost me $ 605.00. Rack suits costs more and still have to be tailored!!!
Kudos to John and his company. I will never buy a suit off the rack again.

I was a moderately satisfied customer here last November when they altered a pair of jeans and a corduroy jacket of mine. The quality and turnaround time were satisfactory; the price was somewhat outrageous ($ 60) but whatev. I probably wouldn’t have gone back simply because I can’t afford it.
What has ultimately sealed the deal for losing out on my patronage was a spam text their owner sent me today advertising an upcoming sale.
Not cool at all. Andrea Vangna people, if you’re reading this: Stop doing that.

Don’t get things tailored here — they did a fine job but it was a hassle, took multiple trips, and was way over priced. Again, ultimately was work well but save yourself the trouble for alterations — for custom clothing, go right ahead.

If you are considering the route of buying a new nice suit, this is the place to go. You will spend as much here on a CUSTOM suit as you will going to a retailer or high end store and buying a suit.
We brought in a suit that my fiancé liked and they took the design of that suit. They then added custom items, like the fit, buttons, how many pockets you want, etc. We were able to choose the fabric from a LARGE variety of colors and styles. We also got to choose the color of the inner lining. For shirts, the color options were a little smaller (or at least in the color we wanted). But even there, it was all custom. They have a knowledgeable staff who offer great recommendations for the fit of the suit.
The suit arrived within a few weeks of the order placement. We both love how it looks.
Though we didn’t need any further adjustments, they can make them if needed, at I believe… no extra cost.

My fiancé had his suit made here for our wedding. It’s actually not as expensive as you think. Really. If you were to buy a nice suit off the rack at Nordstrom you’d probably pay a similar price. But with this option you have a suit made just for you.
You can choose from a huge variety of fabrics and then make all the personal touches you want, from the color of the lining to the number of buttons on your sleeve. Once they’ve taken all of your measurements and talked over all the details, the suit is made in Korea and shipped to Chicago in about 2 – 3 weeks. We went back for the fitting and had to make some small adjustments. 2 weeks later we went back again and all was well. The service is attentive — very one-​on-​one and really helpful.
Go to the store on Dearborn instead of Lakeview. It feels more like the kind of classic men’s store where you want to buy a custom suit.
